I changed the screen because it cracked. When I first tried the screen it was fine and it worked. Then after a while the backlight didn't work. The screen works and I can barely see things on the screen, but backlight is not working.
I read there is a fuse that helps fix this issue but I don't know if this will help. Here it is: http://www.mobilerdx.com/2015/03/sony-xp...

It's the first time the phone is opened and I never thouched the fuse because it's underneath a metallic plate, which I didn't even touch or moved. So why would I have to do something with the fuse if I never did anything to it and the screen was working when I tested it?? It just stopped working afterwards for some unknown reason.
The phone is on, because there is the blinking light. So, do you have some suggestions??? Should I actually try to add a jumper on the fuse??
Thanks.
EDIT: I remember that when I was about to close the phone I put the screen upside down, and it was when the screen backlight stopped working. Is this some reason why the fuse could have been damaged???
Thanks
Hello, I have the same problem, any luck?
Same problem here, I replaced the screen, the touch screen works. I can here clicking when I touch the screen, and I also feel vibrations. But the screen is blank. I tried my old screen (cracked) and the same thing happens, it's blank.
Any fixes?

I'm not sure whats wrong with my phone, I have the AT&T Tilt and I ran into a problem with it just last night...
I have no clue as to what caused it but whats happening is there is either a black or white screen on my phone when it is turned on
This is not like a normal black or white screen problem where the whole screen is either white or black, I've found my phone still works as in it recieves calls/texts however I can't pick up or access anything.
There are still the two bars on the top and bottom of the screen (The top bar has the start, signal, wireless manager, and battery icon while the bottom has the unlock option displayed)
I try unlocking and though the screen and buttons still sense it, nothing happens. I can do nothing with the top bar as well
It is still connected to the network, like i said I still recieve texts and calls but i can't do anything about it
Ive tried multiple softs resets, taken out the battery and sim, tried turning on the phone without the sim, and to no avail...
What do you guys think is the problem?
p.s. sorry for the novel i'm just frustrated with this issue an want to give you all as much information about it as possible

Should i flash to stock and go to t mobile?
Go back to stock and test the s pen again. Make a backup of your ROM.
If it's the same in Stock, then you need to get the phone replaced.
I had the same issue when i got the phone. I had to have it returned for a brand new one due to this. Sometimes the screens pressure sense fails. On my replacement, there were points where i would pull out pen and try to screen shot and the screen would flash as if capturing a screenshot and then no options provided. I thought i was going to have to return another one but then the new update fixed the issue. I dont know why lol. But my second device seems to be working right now. Call tmo and tell them whats going on. If its within the 14 days, request a brand new one.
hi i have JY joying 3066 for Toyota corolla 2008.
i time i started the car and the screen was white. i could still hear but could not see anything (full white backlight screen).
i had to go somewhere and had no time to fix it so after driving for about an hour - the screen came back to itself but the system did a hard reboot ( all settings was wiped).
since then all was fine for about 2 month and now it happened again.

I plugged it in 12V5A power in house for several hours to fix itself but it still stuck on white screen.
to be Clarify- white screen is also on boot logo and on recovery mod
does anyone knows how to fix it?
thanks in advance.
after openning the device by removing one screw at the back and two screws at the sides, then you remove the DVD drive by removing 4 screws.
then 2 screws at each side to remove the screen and you need to disconnect and reconect the big white cable from the board to the screen.
this works for me
Hello all!!
Some days ago got broken LCD glass after phone fell down on floor. Then disassemble device to find what display and hardware does it have.
In process found that one of LEDs that used for camera flashlight is broken. Dunno why, maybe I broke him when unplug parts on motherboard, maybe when it fell something like shock broke him.
So, any1 can helps to find what specs on motherboard does Xiaomi use for parts numbers or articles, or give me the right way where I can find and buy that LEDs, or boards with them, to make repair works with solrdering.
Googling is about two days doesnt helps
PS. I check fotos that made in dissasemble process, its my fault, seems when unplug fingerprint sensor l accidentally touch with tools LED, goes him broken.
Any helps, my great regret. Thnx. There is the foto of mb.

Hey all, I was trying to apply some double sided tape to the bottom of my screen because it was coming a bit loose, and stupidly used metal tweezers to do so. The display turned off for a split second, but turned back on so I thought I was good.
But then, I've noticed that when I turn on the display, horizontal lines sometimes appear. I don't have a 100% repo rate; I can get rid of it by turning the display off and on again (might take a few times though).
However, the right side of my display is always brighter than the left, making a king of ugly brightness gradient on my screen.
Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this without buying a new screen? Thank you!

I should also mention that I had replaced my screen in the past, although it worked perfectly before.
Unfortunately I have to say this screen is most probably a goner. The panel on this device is more fragile than a potato chip!
I cracked mine when it fell on the carpet with cover and protecting glass on. they didnt break but the panel beneath did!
My best suggestion would be getting a new panel and asking a more professional guy to repair it.
