sorry for the stupid question, i'm really tempted to install the official ROM and then root it.
My question is:
Since i have a sim unlocked P990 and i'm from Portugal, which does aply to my phone, EuropeanOpen or Portugal? What are the differences?

Usually only bb are the diff.

have been all my O2X life, the european FROYO GB and ICS (now )ROMs and I havent faced any issues. Infact I have always used european Basebands and found better reception.
so, I dont foresee any such issues.
Experts and seniors can comment please

Yes it is officialy released, yes it has a locked bootloader and yes you need to root it.
That's why i didn't upgrade yet, want to see what RC will do for CM10, will he decide to use the old bootloader or the new.
The problem here is RC only uses what is officialy released, i think that only if the new bootloader is unlocked by LG, he will use the new BL.

Yes, the V20S/q passed the same, at the end all the ROM were the same, with some other exception

Hi everyone, Kangvip has release a new ROM for P7 L09 found it from Chinese site. My question is,, can I flash it using twrp in my P7 L07? Pls advise, I'm a fan of his ROM and been using his ROM in my P6.

I think it's risky. As far as I know, ROMs for the L05, L07, L10 are interchangeable. A rom for the L09 or L00 may brick your phone.

I've just tracked down this ROM. Like you, I want it. It looks really really good. Looking at the specs for the L09, it seems to be a cdma phone and thus not compatible with 3G gsm networks. Maybe I'm wrong, but my instincts tell me the firmware is just incompatible. I do wonder though, if it might be possible to take parts of this ROM and swap it into a ROM that's suitable for our phones. I just don't know enough unfortunately. Perhaps others viewing these posts may car to comment. For anyone interested here's the link to the ROM:

It will be nice if he is able. I downloaded his L09 ROM as I thought I might be able to learn from it or perhaps extract something useful. Sadly, the zip is password protected. Any suggestions?

He Has ALso Posted for P7-L07 L05 ... i am Downloading From Pan.baidu.com and Will Mirror in Few Hours ..... GOdamn Pan.Baidu Is SLow .... But The Rom Has Exciting Features Such as Split Screen Cant Wait to Flash . ... ROm is of 735 Mb So I will Definately Mirror it After Tution Till Then U Can See The Thread Located Here

I Think it is The Same Rom There was No Difference in Screenshots or Anything Else
Edit : I Checked and There is V1.1 ... I Will Download and Upload Till Night Time in Kuwait GMT +3

No Need For Password . Just Flash in Twrp ... The Advanced Settings in The Settings are already Translated if You Choose English Language ,

Spanish Should Most Probably Be Should Be Included .... Currently The Download is at 85% ... Pan.Baidu is Too Damn Slow .... The P7-L07 L05 Version ( The One I Will Upload ) Works on P7-l10 .... Have you tried asking around in the original moto g forums? Maybe devs on that end can try and give you some information just so can have an idea of where to go from your situation. Just a thought,great job on getting something at least.hopeing this will go somewhere.

I won't be uploading the ROM till we get a stable recovery. The device reboots during flashing the ROM . i was able to flash it 1st time , the ROM is working flawlessly. Sorry Guys you have to wait.

Could you please upload the odexed bloated Stock ROM ? I would try to fix the issues.
Atleast your ROM got flashed. I tried making one but the TWRP v 2.8.0.0 wont flash it.

Nougat is out. This build is one before Nougat release. Odin files of Nougat are not released yet.

Thanks for the upload! Worked great, and so far the phone runs smoothly. Without this posts on XDA I would be stuck in Lollipop land for ever......

i was able to get from DPK1 ( 6.01) to QA8. Now I noticed that G625AUCU5EQA8 is not the official ROM so would like to get at least to G925AAUCS6DQC1.
Do you know how to get from G625AUCU5EQA8 to G925AAUCS6DQC1?
