Reflashing stock on linux - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all, I'm going to be sending my phone off for repairs which will hopefully be done under warranty. So I'm looking to return my phone to stock android for the time being. I've done it before but that was on Windows and now I'm switched to Linux. Is there a method through Linux which doesn't include emulating a Windows environment?

Finally a Linux user!
First of all, download FlashTool for linux by going to this link: http://www.flashtool.net/downloads_linux_prev.php Yes you will be using 0.9.18.6 version as a latest change in 0.9.19 wont allow you to properly flash ftf files.
Extract the file downloaded. Extract the extracted file again (its an archive, inside an archive).
You will now have the Flashtool program in your Linux. To run Flashtool, simply run the file "FlashTool" of the extracted files. But hold on, we need udev support so Flashtool can recognise Sony devices
Create an empty file then enter this in:
Code:
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ACTION=="add", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0fce", ATTRS{idProduct}=="*", MODE="0777"
Save it as "51-sony.rules"
Then push (move) it into "/etc/udev/rules.d" with superuser (sudo) permission.
Open terminal
Set correct permission and ownership
Code:
sudo chown root:root /etc/udev/rules.d/51-sony.rules && sudo chmod u=rw,go=r /etc/udev/rules.d/51-sony.rules
Restart udev or system for changes to take effect

I've successfully set it up and reflashed my phone back to stock. The problem is I've downloaded a ROM containing Asian apps whereas I would like a full UK official ROM, just to be on the safe side in case they try and void my warranty. Do you know where I could find a UK 4.2/3 (?) stock rom to use?
Many thanks once again!!

Flashtool as of 0.9.18.5 has integrated Xperifirm into its program, therefore you can now download the ftf that you want right from your flashtool!
Make sure you have Mono-complete package installed. Assuming you use Debian-based distro, please run
Code:
sudo apt-get install mono-complete
Open Flashtool
Click on the XF button (right next to the Plus button)
XperiFirm will be launched
Choose Xperia SP in the sidebar
Choose your Xperia SP model
Find the ROM that you want and click on it
On the right sidebar there will be a single item for you to click it. Click it (under the donate on paypal image)
Confirm download. Please make sure "Unpack automatically" is ticked.
After download complete, close Xperifirm. Flashtool will pack the files downloaded and generates a proper ftf.
Once it completes, you can click on Lightning icon and proceed to flashing the ftf that you have downloaded.

[TOOL] Optimus Toolkit 6 in 1 v1.1.1 | P990-Linux|Root-Flash-Backup-Ap/KDZ Toolkit

Optimus Toolkit 6 in 1 v-1.1.1 - Linux

After a few month programming here you have this 6 in 1, we say that it is the counterpart in Linux of the "All in one", though it seems.
In you program have included 6 applications essential for the day-to-day management of Optimus, partitions with the new LG-ICS configuration or the former LG-GB.
Backup/restore of the whole system, and also of the SDs, both internal and external, and stores them in ZIP format.
The program includes:
Uncompress KDZ
Unpacking AP
Backup
Restore
Flash ROM (NVflash)
Rooted
Three languages, Spanish, English and German, I hope that it will soon translate into French, Italian and Portuguese

An example of use:
You have a ROM format KDZ and does not the Windows program rather than failing, because well, you copy the kdz within the kdz_folder folder, run the Optimus_Toolkit 6 in 1 and choose option 1- UnPack KDZ.
After a few seconds you have the AP and CP files to Flash with Smartflash. Oh, that doesn't want to boot windows?, no problem, use option 2.- UnPack AP, and then option 4.-Flash ROM for flashing by NVflash ROM KDZ just unpack.
But before Flash want do a backup of the system, as with the 3.- Backup/Restore option, this is in Optitool 2, backup/restore DATA, SYSTEM, etc.

The operation is very intuitive, just follow the instructions on screen.
The program does many things, and others will in the future.
I hope that you go reporting if you detect a fault.

Optimus_Toolkit_6-in-1_V-1.1.1.tar.gz - 25.64 MB
Nice bro,
It's good to have another alternative toolkit for linux users.
New version corrected, improved and stable
Thanks for your work and collection, as a regular linux user it's very useful for me.
I have some recommendations which are might be improve the linux users experience.
I suggest you to use some kind of compression which is takes care about the extended *nix attributes, like the executable bit. For example, the 7zip and the tar.gz will be perfect.
But if you feel better, that's no problem using the proprietary rar format, in this case I have to execute these commands:
Code:
chmod +x scripts/*.sh
chmod +x tools/7za
chmod +x tools/adb_linux
chmod +x tools/adb_mac
chmod +x tools/cabextract
chmod +x tools/extract
chmod +x tools/nvflash
Or, if you think you can implement such a thing like these into your menu.
Not a big problem, just an idea how to make your work more user friendly.
The other, which is also just a minor thing, in the tools/flash_en.sh I found that in the Opti nvflash command line there is a tools/fastboot.bin, which is not corrected to the fastbootICS.bin file, so the nvflash of course does not work with.
Lastly, please consider about integrate the recovery from pengus (CWM non-touch) and tonyp (CWM touch and TWRP soon), and to implement the kernel flashing only (ex. for the kernel testers). I attached my version of your flash_en.sh with Flash ROM option 8 (because I am successfully stucked on boot with a new kernel ).
Thank you for your work!
excellent useful tool!

I will take into account the compression, I will use the native tar.gz.
On line 101 of your flash_en.sh it refers to tools/recovery_ics-20121230.img
That recovery is that?
I'm hoping to TWRP, is a recovery which I like very much, I tried to adapt it to ICS based on modifications made by Stefan in the CWM, but I only got a tremendous brick ), is that something different from CWM works
If you think of any suggestions, they will be well received.

Yes, this is the latest recovery from pengus77, I am using his ROM, so I think this one is better for me.

I tried it too, the result was useless, so I really understand you
Maybe sooner or later somebody has some time to make it for the ICS layout too.

Can't get it working.
Tried running it on a mac but it ends with an End of process after selecting a language:
Escoja una opción/Type an option: [1-2,X]2/Users/ruslanmirsalihov/Desktop/Toolkit_ICS-Root_Stock-v-1.0_by_Homero/root: line 18: tools/en.sh: No such file or directory
logout
On ubuntu it says it was unable to determine my phone.
Any help?
If the "unable to determine my phone" means that when you start the flashing process you get "Nvflash started" "USB device not found" in Ubuntu, I think the problem is that you using wrong cable, or you not plug the phone into the USB while both of the volume keys pressed. Please provide exact error message and the exact menu option you used in order to get your problem solved.
About the mac you need to start Terminal from Utilities and start the script from here.
Or, alternatively, I attached a fixed menu which is working with double-click, just download and replace it your menu file with the attached one (there is a new function which doing the same thing, cd'ing into the script directory, so I just made nearly nothing, but working in linux and mac, and should working in cygwin too.)
But note that, in mac you cannot use the flashing options because of AFAIK there is no nvflash for mac. But you can use the others, such as the rooting and the back up with ADB is working.
This function (fixpath). Should we put it in the script, or just on the menu?
New version 1.1.0, with support for multiple languages, the languages are included in a separate script file.
The program memorizes the selected language, and the language menu will not appear any more
New version, with new options and I think and hope that all errors are corrected.
THanks

[HOW TO] Rooting the LT25i without unlocking the bootloader (4.0.4)

Rooting the Xperia V: How-To.
(XDA member datagubben requested that I post this here, as per http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36753824&postcount=19)
Mirrors for the files provided are welcome.
This root method is courtesy of Xperia-Freaks.org, originally developed for the Xperia AX, translated and adapted by me for the LT25i.
Supported firmware: 9.0.1.D.0.10, probably also 9.0.D.0.484.
Reportedly does not work with 9.1.A.0.489.
You will need: TRIMMED-LT25i-SOL21_9.0.F.0.195.ftf (direct link: TRIMMED-LT25i-SOL21_9.0.F.0.195.ftf) or the original LT25i-SOL21_9.0.F.0.195.ftf (this FTF has its loader.sin replaced with LT25i's loader.sin; the trimmed version lacks unneeded files like baseband etc. and as such removes unneeded wipe/exclude options, leaving only the three files we actually need) and an LT25i FTF of your choice; the rootkit (this one is "translated" and edited for convenience; do NOT use regular GX/SX rootkits blindly as they require modification).
Make a backup using the stock Backup and Restore app in case something goes wrong so you can perform a factory reset.
Once rooted, you can safely restore from that backup.
1. Power the phone up in Flashmode (hold Volume down; connect USB). Using Flashtool, flash TRIMMED-LT25i-SOL21_9.0.F.0.195.ftf (or the untrimmed version if you like fiddling with excess checkboxes) using:
kernel.sin
loader.sin
system.sin
(Remember to uncheck the wipe options!)
2. Unplug USB. Turn the phone on. Enable USB debugging if it wasn't enabled previously. Connect the phone via USB again.
3. Unpack the Rootkit and start it (run install.bat). Confirm restore of the backup as requested, and press any key in the cmd window. Press any key again; the device will reboot (twice).
4. Run adb shell. To do it, you can open the rootkit folder in Windows Explorer, and shift-Right Click the "files" folder inside it. Choose "Open command window here". Type "adb shell" in that window.
If you're presented with a prompt that ends with "$", type "su".
The prompt should end with "#" now.
Type "echo ro.kernel.qemu=1 > /data/local.prop" and check if the file was created successfully by typing "ls -l /data/local.prop": below you will find an example of what the output looks like.
Code:
C:\Software\Rootkit\files\> adb shell
[email protected]:/ $ su
su
[email protected]:/ # echo ro.kernel.qemu=1 > /data/local.prop
echo ro.kernel.qemu=1 > /data/local.prop
[email protected]:/ # ls -l /data/local.prop
ls -l /data/local.prop
-rw-r--r-- system system 17 2013-01-15 17:29 local.prop
[email protected]:/ #
5. Turn the phone off, and connect it in Flashmode again. Using Flashtool, flash your firmware of choice with:
loader.sin
system.sin
(Remember to uncheck the wipe options!)
6. Turn the phone on. Open a command prompt into the files subfolder of the rootkit folder, like in step 4, or return to that window if you haven't closed it.
Type "adb shell". If you get a $ prompt, try "su" to get to "#". Once in adb, type "/data/local/tmp/step2.sh", then "reboot". The phone will reboot.
When it boots back, run adb shell again, and type "/data/local/tmp/step3.sh". You'll witness another reboot or maybe two. You should be rooted now.
Code:
C:\Software\Rootkit\files\> adb shell
[email protected]:/ # /data/local/tmp/step2.sh
/data/local/tmp/step2.sh
0+1 records in
0+1 records out
57 bytes transferred in 0.001 secs (57000 bytes/sec)
[email protected]:/ # reboot
C:\Software\Rootkit\files\> adb shell
[email protected]:/ # data/local/tmp/step3.sh
data/local/tmp/step3.sh
43+1 records in
43+1 records out
22364 bytes transferred in 0.002 secs (11182000 bytes/sec)
1647+1 records in
1647+1 records out
843503 bytes transferred in 0.123 secs (6857747 bytes/sec)
2119+1 records in
2119+1 records out
1085140 bytes transferred in 0.089 secs (12192584 bytes/sec)
7. Turn the phone off, and connect it in Flashmode again. Using Flashtool, flash your firmware of choice with:
kernel.sin
loader.sin
(Remember to uncheck the wipe options!)
Do NOT skip this step: you need the LT25i kernel on your LT25i system!
8. Let's finish.
We will need adb shell once again. This time, you will need to type a few lines as follows:
Obtain root:
su
Remount /system:
mount -o remount,rw -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p12 /system
Remove /data/local.prop since it's a security hole; this is important and is normally done by the rootkit's step 3, but we needed to save the file to get to keep root access on our LT25i firmware:
rm /data/local.prop
And finally reboot:
reboot
Code:
G:\Android\LT25i\rootkitGXSX_v3\files>adb shell
[email protected]:/ $ su
su
[email protected]:/ # mount -o remount,rw -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p12 /system
mount -o remount,rw -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p12 /system
[email protected]:/ # rm /data/local.prop
rm /data/local.prop
[email protected]:/ # reboot
reboot
Done. You now have busybox, Superuser and su on your stock LT25i firmware.
Remember to clean up those pesky au apps.
Will link to the all in one. Many thanks
Good job translating!

I did some n00b experiments:
First I flash kernel.sin-, system.sin and loader.sin from above VL-firmware(Japan), then Bin4ary for root (OK) and back to V-kernel with system.sin again, but I lost root ofcourse :crying:
anyway, the first post is working but I get reboots when deleting something from system/apps/. Any fix?

Using the Bin4ry approach should be possible since as far as I know it's the exact same backup/restore timing exploit, you probably need to recreate /data/local.prop though before flashing the V's system.sin. Or do you mean reducing the number of flashing operations to 2? That won't work, we need to regain root on V's system to get it to enable adb root shell with the V's kernel.
If you delete something from /system/app and the phone starts rebooting, it means you just deleted a part of the Timescape framework, I'd presume?
This method will clean up my installed app?
Dude i'm step 6 but I keep getting this prompt.
C:\Users\user\Documents\Development\Xperia\Xperia V\rootkit-sony\files>adb shell
[email protected]:/ $ su
su
/system/bin/sh: su: not found
127|[email protected]:/ $
edit: now do i panic?
Aaron_035, this means you did not obtain root during previous steps.
Did you verify that /data/local.prop was successfully created during step 4?

I haven't seen HK firmware beeing uploaded here on XDA yet, but you can make yourself with PPC + flashtool (its not difficult, look in the forum how to do).
I just got the hk firmware and finished all the steps in the first post, now i am rooted.
Yes it is rooted but it left alot of unwanted au japanese sofware in my phone.
It should be noted in the first line in the first post of this thread.
But thank you anyways.
So, I have to wipe and re-flash my stock HK firmware.
Are there any other way to root my Xperia V without flashing other firmware?
If you did everything according to the howto I posted, you would be running your stock HK firmware, rooted.
All those au apps left after flashing back the stock LT25i firmware can be easily uninstalled. They're in /data/app, not in /system/app.
And, quoting the last line from the howto I posted,

You're welcome to find one and share it with us. Believe me, I'd rather do something simple than bother with all this reflashing and app removal.
Also, if you really want it simple, unlock your bootloader already.

First of all, thanks for doing the tutorial for us with locked bootloader. :good: :highfive:
a) But you need a ftf-file in order to flash back the original kernel and HK is not available as a download here on XDA yet (If you don't do it yourself).
b) Not everybody has a Ph.d in translation and "pesky" is rarely used by less educated, at least in my case.
c) I have an app_log.sin that bothers me, when trying to flash back the LT25i kernel and system, does it matter?
d) Will this work when we get Jelly Bean?

There is no way to know untill it lands on our devices, Sony can(and do) monitor what we do on this forum and, allthough they are quite dev friendly, do find way to fix the loopholes we exploit to get root access. They want us only to get that via an official unlocking from their site. You cant blame them for that, they are a big company and have lots of ways of losing contracts if they cant secure their system.
But you can be your bottom dollar tha if they close that exploit, we will find another way

What about "app_log.sin", does it matter? Cause it is flashed together with the Kernel.sin and system.sin

c) Make a copy of your stock FTF file. Open the copy in Total Commander or 7-Zip. Delete everything except the manifest, loader.sin, kernel.sin and system.sin. No more app_log.sin appearing in Flashtool, yay!
d) Depends on two factors.
First, if the 4.1 update will replace the keys used to sign .sin files, removing compatibility with older firmware, this approach will be unavailable. This is what Motorola did with the DROID 2/X/2 GLOBAL.
Second, provided they don't replace the bootloader, and we can still flash back to 4.0: whether we will be able to retain root during firmware update (via OTA RootKeeper or whatever else exists).
As for the language filter, use Kunrei romaji (you know, the system where you use “si” instead of “shi” for し and “ti” instead of “chi” for ち) to work around it.

How to root me572c Lollipop

First of all, many thanks for 4pda members.
It's time to post new thread for Lollipop.
This is for Kitkat me572c users.
(I can't make link so just copy the url)
● Lollipop firmware (UL-K007-WW-12.14.1.12) with root
Code:
mega.nz/#!LwJ3VBxK!4V4Ay-RzLS8x609zvyWL8IlcgI3xxfLcSqZ3gZkc52Q
● Install-Recovery.rar
Code:
mega.nz/#!C5ghzL6R!GR0WgLCumy6a429kB0ZjQOMxjPSylz07fVnHtKVm8ng
● ADB Driver
Code:
mega.nz/#!YAlxVbYS!7xfADRLuvcyO1GxRHtre3_e1TaVPmtIykqGbKCzUkkk
1) Can only be set on 4.4.2 (Kitkat). If you have already installed Lolipop, you must first revert to Kitkat. The computer should be installed ADB driver for the tablet and the tablet is turned on for the USB debugging. (no need to backup Internal memory. every data remain. but just in case, back up your data.)
2) Connect powered tablet to the computer. Download the firmware and rename it MOFD_SDUPDATE.zip, copy to the root of the memory card(MicroSd card) of the tablet. Download the archive Install-Recovery.rar and unpack it on your computer.
3) Run Install-Recovery.cmd, after the black command window turns up, volume buttons to select SD Download and power button for confirm. This will start the process of firmware.
Can anyone post instructions (in English hopefully because I'm lingual challenged) on how to revert back to KitKat if you've already upgraded to Lollipop? I didn't think that was possible...
Thanks so much!
I did a rough translation of the steps for downgrading in this thread. I haven't tried it myself, though, so I can't guarantee success.
It worked yes! Thanks! The only problem I have is my navbar icons is still kitkat, so is my wifi icon/battery. I'm just going to get the xposed module I guess and figure out later while it hasn't changed. But woo!
edit: (DOH!) that's what exposed moduel Xstana is for, nevermind the issue about navbar icons and the other icon problems.
You should include this in OP.

I wouldn't try it. The process involves loading ROM images made specifically for the ME572C..
A few questions about this.:
* Is there a way to do this in Linux? I don't own a Windows computer, but I have the full Android SDK installed, including ADB and fastboot.
* Is the Recovery.rar necessary if I am still on Kitkat? I assume this changes out the stock recovery with something else. Is that correct?
* Does this actually unlock the bootloader?
* My tablet is currently running 4.4.2. KVT49L.WW_epad-11.8.3.31-20150126 release-keys
044000309_201407240016. Any problems upgrading from this version?
Thanks
EDIT: Here is a very slightly modified script from the original for Linux. You must have adb and fastboot already installed for this work. These are included in the Android SDK for Linux. Copy and past this into a new file called Install-Recovery.sh and make it executable. You will still need the recovery.img file from the original Install-Recovery.rar archive. I don't think you will need anything else.
THIS IS UNTESTED!
Code:
#!/bin/bash
echo "Waiting for device connection..."
adb wait-for-device
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

I'm using linux tools comes with Intel Phone Flash Lite tool instead of google tools.
https://01.org/android-ia/downloads/intel-phone-flash-tool-lite
adb and fastboot are installed into /usr/lib/phoneflashtoollite/ and changed path for the tools are changed and done manually.
Now I've just succeeded to install LoliPop into my tab after almost 2 days efforts(thank all contributors!!) but I can't reproduce accurate steps in linux(ubuntu) environment.... At least I used windows environment for downgrading from non-rooted 5.01 to 4.4.2...
Good luck !

As I do not need to downgrade, I think my script will work. I just have not had the time to try it. When I do flash this, I will probably just type in the commands manually so I can what is happening easier. I would just really like to know more about this new Recovery before flashing. Is a CWM based recovery or a stock recovery? If stock, what differs in it from the stock recovery currently present on it?
I grabbed the link you sent, but it's a .deb file. I will search for a RPM or just convert this one, as I am using Fedora 21 and CentOS 7 on my two machines.
Thanks

Recovery is not CMW/TWRP, perhaps modified from stock.
Yep, What I did were execute series of command lines manually and crossing my fingers for several times
I'm expecting that will work in RPM based distros.

There should be a save log button on the main window, secondly check the preferences maybe there is a setting to make the logs more verbose (on mac I can just select Debug easily),
Thirdly run your flashtool like this;
Code:
sudo -s
java -jar yourFlashtool > flashlog.txt 2>&1
upload "flashlog.txt" and all the logs you could get.

My bad, the command needs to be ./FlashTool > flashlog.txt 2>&1 , for the log level of flashtool please check your settings, after you've done this, do what you tried to do before so we can see those errors, as for the flashtool log you can just copy and paste them from the flashtool window.

SO... This happened... Secure Boot Error Code 1003 MODIFIED!!!

So, I wanted to go back to stock, after trying multiple steps listed here in XDA-dev, and multiple youtube videos and webpages. I will list the erros bellow :
LgUP - "unknown device"... I been having issues with this software since I first attempt to run it. I tried on 2 different computers and have the same issue. Installed the DLL first (like many suggested ) then LGUP and nothing
Flashtools14 - I get the .kdz and attempt to do either "normal" or "CSE" . after comes another window, stating the progress, do not disconnect the phone .. blah blah. After going thru that it stops at 9 % and nothing happens.
After couple of weeks, I thought that if Relocking the bootloader i would be able to go into the "factory Reset" with out booting from TWRP and going back to stock..*stupid move*, and so I did... And here we are with error 1003 MODIFIED
I been looking for answers in order to fix this issue, but they go to the same path... using LGUP or FLASHtools in which both dont work with me
I have this phone
LG G4 H811 Tmobile
Now im trying to see if i can conver a KDZ into a TOT since that process I also know.
If somebody have another method please let me know!
I cant go into recovery since I keep getting the error. pretty much I have a paper weight.

sorry i have no idea. maybe pos in thread go back to stock.
So if I understood you correctly you still have download mode?
Then it can be fixed.
If you want I can guide you through..
For this you need any Linux or best would be if just using FWUL ( http://tinyurl.com/FWULatXDA ).
I recommend to use the persistent mode version so your settings and installations survive a reboot / shutdown.
instructions:
Boot FWUL, choose language & login
Download the KDZ file you want to flash (we need to know the path later e.g. /home/android/Downloads/)
Open the folder LG
Connect device in download mode to the PC
Double click "LG laf NG" icon
Type in the new opened terminal:
sudo python2 auth.py
[*]sudo python2 partitions.py --list
If this lists your partitions then we can proceed with flashing.
Download my brand new kdz manager tool into FWUL: (right click and save as)
When you are not using the persistent mode of FWUL: plug in a big USB stick (e.g. 32 GB or more) into FWUL and extract the attached file there
When you are using the persistent mode of FWUL: just extract it in your download folder
You need to know the full path so best is copying the path from the file manager (e.g. /home/android/Downloads/ ) or leave the file manager open there
Open another terminal (black little icon in the panel)
cd and directly behind this paste the path you copied (e.g. cd /home/android/Downloads/ )
press ENTER
bash kdzmanager.sh -x FILLINFULLPATH-TO-DOWNLOADED-KDZ
(e.g. bash kdzmanager.sh -x /home/android/Downloads/h811blablubb.kdz)
once finished type:
bash kdzmanager.sh --test --flash extracteddz/
(just like this as "extracteddz" is the path generated by the kdzmanager)
This will just test flashing and not actually flash. Let me know the results of this (copy & paste output)
if you can't wait the next step would be actually flashing ofc:
WARNING: by default the kdzmanager will not overwrite userdata (which would be like a factory reset) and I would recommend to leave it out always and better choose the LG factory reset menu (after flashing completed) if required. If you still want to flash it use --with-userdata as a parameter (can take a loooong time then btw).
bash kdzmanager.sh --flash extracteddz/

It seems you havent downloaded the latest FWUL version v2.0? In v1 there is no LG laf NG.. But we can use that FWUL version as well. it's just very very outdated
If you want to have the best FWUL experience use v2.0 and download the persistent mode version of FWUL (it's the ZIP) and read the FAQ to make the persistent mode available in VirtualBox!
This combo is fantastic
I come back in about 3 hours to complete the guide...

Saw something a few posts back about virtualbox or vmware...
FWIW, Historically, virtualized Linux Guests don't do so well with USB. I've always had to install it natively or use a LiveUSB distro with persistence.

VirtualBox plus FWUL works like a charm.
Sent from my LG-H815 using XDA Labs

Your tool is far better than this one because your tool has extracted many such partitions of LG G4 H811 20o KDZ which that tool didn't. E.g. PERSISTENT, DEVINFO, MODEMST1, MODEMST2, DRM etc.

Well. Yet another PhD thesis :good:. There is one thing that I couldn't understand though. At one place you mentioned that Hint: not wiping userdata can occur in a bootloop while at the other place you said WARNING: by default the kdzmanager will not overwrite userdata. Does it mean that flashing can cause bootloop if kdzmanager is used with default options?
Secondly, does it also support TOTs as LGUP does?
