YEs it's grey. Matches pretty darn close.

Its based on the Samsung tpu, which is waay better than that.

why? It's the same as any other grey note 2 phone?

Had one similar to this one, same covered area, one drop on concrete and the screen was gone. So while it looks nice, it offers no protection against drops, be careful.

Hmm... It seems the device won't survive a drop with this case...

I don't think most cases are designed to protect from falls...only day to day wear and scratches.

Except this one covers more of the top and bottom than the rinke.

No, but comparing pictures this covers more of TOP and Bottom than ringke
Here's some of my previous case
Made phone look bulky.
top and bottom too exposed.
Slim but felt cheap and no grip
Nicely designed but not slim
Slim, and a good compromise between size and protection with the looks.

I ordered one on Monday as well. I watched the video, the case looks pretty sturdy and nicely form fitted.
Oh and I think they take the color off if they don't have any in stock because I saw it when I ordered it

I ordered mine on Monday and just got it today! I love this case! The fit, feel and function is top notch. I love how the back cover that holds the tablet in place is more of a snap in back cover rather than something that you have to slide the tablet in.
Again I would highly recommend this to anyone.

just received mine in the mail today. The build quality is actually good. The only thing I worry about is that I don't know how well the plastic stays attached to the leather, I could see that being a problem but that is only out of speculation. It has a leather texture with a foam underneath and it feels good. Another feature no one talked about that is well thought out is that the flap that keeps the case shut can be flipped behind and a magnet on the back keeps it from just hanging there when it is opened. The auto turn on works when you open it. I ordered mine from gizmo central.

Hrmph ... unfortunately, it seems that Magenta is the only color available on Amazon, anyone have better luck?

M8 carbon fiber case

Nothing special but thought I'd share. Loving it. Just arrived from Hong Kong today...it's a very tight fit to the phone and provides great shell protection to the back and ends of the phone. It cost 12 bucks with free shipping and came with an anti reflective screen protector. Shipped in about 10 days.

Looks similar to an OSIR one I used to have for my iPhone.

I'm a huge fan of anything carbon fiber. But 12 bucks? That seems a little cheap for something made out of CF, doesn't it?
EDIT: It's plastic with a CF finish. Still cool. But now you've got me looking for a case actually made of carbon fiber lol

I've read that real carbon fiber can interfere with cell signals, so you might want to keep that in mind.

CF case for the M7, nothing at all for the M8 but skins. Also, this particular case isn't on their website anymore. So I dunno. But maybe CaseMate will release a real CF case for the M8 at some point or another

It looks OK for 6P but we have to see some reviews for 5X. I hope it covers the curved borders of the back panel too.
To be precise, I'm not too hopeful about that. Even N5 versions does not cover the curved borders.

For N5X, I don't think so. First of all the flash and lazer autofocus gaps are separated for skins. But in cases has 1 gap for flash and af.

I think you can use the skin down below the case but I'M not sure. Because Rıngke SLim case is thin.

I'm currently using the clear Adopted one from Google, but I also have a TUDIA case.

For those of you who've tried dbrand skins before, how does the grip compare to the Nexus 5x on its own? It might be due to the added size coming from a 2013 Moto X but I'm finding it slightly slippery.

Just ordered a black leather skin from Slickwraps. I loved the Nexus 5 skin I ordered from them a year ago, hoping this one is as good.
I like the black leather skin as it makes the phone "grippier" and keeps down the oily smears on the back.

Same, this is exactly what I want as well, add minimum bulk to the phone while protecting it. I'm also going to add a screen protector of some kind, given I've broken two S4 screens in the past two years. <eek>
