Kies 3 and debloat - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

Hey ya'll, quick question for you. So I recently ran the Samsung Debloat zip to get rid of all the unused apps, but after running it Kies can't find my phone. So what does Kies need that gets removed from debloating?

HELP!
i've rooted my phone and lag fixed it before, does this affect anything?
Honestly, since a long time ago I am not using Kies anymore. I don't see any benefit in it. If you want to backup your device, just use Titanium Backup or My backup pro. It's working a lot better than Kies.

Help needed to remove bloatware.

Hi everyone,
I've just gotten my note today and it comes pre-installed with LOTS of bloatware by telco.
Is there anyway to remove them? I tried to uninstall via applications in settings but it doesn't allow me to remove them.
Googled but can't find the answer too, so very much appreciate if someone knows of a solution.
Thanks.
Using Titanium Backup, I pretty much removed the same stuff from my Note as my S2. I got info from this thread. Also, there's a reference for S2 apps with comments on how safe they are to remove here.
If I flash to a custom rom, it will remove all bloatwares as well right?

A custom rom will only come without bloatware if the developer chose to remove it from the rom. Just use titanium backup. It only takes a second to remove the app.
thx for the help.
Ive rooted and installed titanium backup, used it to remove quite a few bloatwares.
However there are some bloatwares that cant be removed (ive removed it, but when i restarts my phone it comes back again).
But at least there's alot of them thats gone now

Yeah check whats safe and not safe first dont wanna end up untieing a knot you need..

[Q] Crash at 27%

I've rooted my note 3 and deleted several apps including knox. I saw a post where you can keep root if you configure supersu pro if you want the latest OTA from at&t. I've tried to download the OTA update but it keeps crashing at 27%. Not sure how to get pass this. Is it possible to re-install the original software that came with the note out of the box.

[Q]Best Way To Remove Bloat

I got the s5 Active and recently rooted and flashed safestrap. I was wondering what the best way to remove the bloat from the stock rom was? Thanks in advance.

Depends on what you want to do. You can install a ROM that is bloatware free, freeze apps with Titanium Backup, or you can manually uninstall them.
For the first option you would just have to search for a bloat free ROM such as the one I'm running: Extreme Debloat.
For the second option, you would root your phone, install Titanium Backup, and just go down the list freezing one application at a time until you're satisfied. (I only specifically froze the AT&T apps in my app drawer, nothing outside of that).
For the last option, there are a few applications that you just run and they uninstall a "list" of bloatware. I don't remember where I saw it, but the application was made by someone on XDA.
I'd just use TiBu and remove what you want instead of a ROM that someone else decided what stays and goes as a lot of stuff is dependent on other stuff
Thanks for the help guys.

Rooting my AT&T Samsung Galaxy s6

Hey all my version is the G920AUCU3BOJ7...I've tried PingPong root and it says my device can't be rooted yet. Is there anything that can help me root my device. My recent tab is stuck and it causes my phone to constantly switch between apps. I went through all the proper channels AT&T and Samsung and they won't help me. I also factory reset my device uninstalled all apps ever put on it and nothing works. I read you can disable the recent tab, but to do that I need root acess to the device. Any help would me much apprechiated.
Thanks,
Ryan
