Mi Note Pro kernel sources

Does anybody knows when the sources for the Mi Note Pro will be released ?
It would be great to have a CM12 for our device.

Will be released but I think we have to wait a few month.

Can't wait much longer

Probably because of our Snapdragon 810 and our 4 GB of DDR4 RAM...
Hope it won't last too long before we can get the sources !
I'll instantly try to build a clean Lollipop ROM ?

By the way I've already sold my Mi Note PRO in a native factory condition
If kernel sources will be released I'm ready to think about how to buy it again. I like look & specs, but not ugly miui :/

Kernel Source will be released after Mi Note has been launched globally

Kahun, if you were Xiaomi SEO, would you launch mi note globally with miui? I mean... does it negative experience so needed to be taste? Just thoughts out loud...

Just get used to it, i hated MIUI at the start but I got used to it and i love it.

The same price, that I had bought. Then bought Oneplus One and feeling great.

what about porting from some similar specs phone ?

[Q] Xiaomi Mi Note double tap to wake?

Running Ivan's 5.1.1 android rom and I was wondering IF there is any way of getting THE feature of double tapping to wake screen?

I don't know how to do it with your phone, but I did some research about this once. There are no apps in play store, you need a custom kernel which supports this feature. But those kernels are quite rare I think...

I saw som apps that did it with the sensor but that's not good enough, not sure if there is any custom kernels for the Mi Note yet though...

I used an app and it's crap. Hopefully this feature will be in MIUI 7

Been trying to dualboot miui and Ivans rom on my Mi Note but haven't succeeded so far...

Lucky for you, you can use 5.1.1
Mi Note Pro, yeah the one we so called Pro, still stuck on MIUI 6...

Well if you dont put on a custom rom the standard mi note is stuck on 4.4.4 while mi note pro is on 5.0.2

Windows Phone 10 in Mi Note Pro

Anybody knows if there is any work in this way? The hardware is the same, more or less, than the Lumia 950XL, isn't it?

They have a windows rom for the original Mi4 out since more than a year. They now have a new win 10 rom for the Mi4 and even for the Mi Note. Why aren't they doing anything for the Pro? not even in the chinese forum, since it's not an intl. device.

Really don't want to sell but seems nothing is going to happen with custom roms.

Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition (Kate) here running Global Stable MIUI 9, which is based on Marshmallow.
I have tried a number of Xposed versions - both system and systemless (Magisk), but they all seem to hang on the splash screen.
Any hints?

Try version 0.2.2.1
Some options don't work but i use here.
Miui 8 tweaks v 1.17 build 30 some functions work and others not.

This is a new Global Beta Stable and is currently being pushed to random users.. The same for Redmi Note 7 Global, a new Global Beta Stable V10.3.9.0.PFGMIXM is also being pushed now to random users for testing before public release

Its not a major update. No bog changes. But they fixed battery drain issue. I used to get bad battery backup on 10.3.6. but in on 10.3.7 i am getting good battery back up.

If you have indian note 7 then dont. If you have the global version of redmi note 7 then my be you can bcz Redmi note 7s (indian global) is the same Redmi note 7 that launched globally. Btw Its a ota update. Just wait you will receive this 10.3.7 update soon. But i am not sure if you are using EU rom.

My question is, when will the beta stable become non-beta but official release to all users? How long does it take for beta to become official usually?
Pilot users = guinea pigs. Unless I'm getting paid to use them, I'll wait until official/stable is released whether it's stock or custom ROMs?

Is there a changelog? Just curious
