I just received a new update on my Redmi Note 7s
can we use this on redmi note 7 ?

This is a new Global Beta Stable and is currently being pushed to random users.. The same for Redmi Note 7 Global, a new Global Beta Stable V10.3.9.0.PFGMIXM is also being pushed now to random users for testing before public release

Yes, it's the same phone with a different camera sensor. It has the same code name and everything.

He probably means the button that says receive updates earlier or something like that I just flashed LOS so I can't check the correct name.

Its not a major update. No bog changes. But they fixed battery drain issue. I used to get bad battery backup on 10.3.6. but in on 10.3.7 i am getting good battery back up.

If you have indian note 7 then dont. If you have the global version of redmi note 7 then my be you can bcz Redmi note 7s (indian global) is the same Redmi note 7 that launched globally. Btw Its a ota update. Just wait you will receive this 10.3.7 update soon. But i am not sure if you are using EU rom.
My question is, when will the beta stable become non-beta but official release to all users? How long does it take for beta to become official usually?
Pilot users = guinea pigs. Unless I'm getting paid to use them, I'll wait until official/stable is released whether it's stock or custom ROMs?

Hi. I've seen a few articles about MIUI 10 Global stable coming to Mi Mix. Does anyone have an idea when it will be released via OTA, if at all? According to article in link it should have been released last week. Thanks!

I have been running the Global Beta version of MIUI 10 for some time on my Mix and I saw the Global Stable was available. I knew that because I wasnrt on the Global Stable I wouldnt get the OTA update so I flashed to the Stable version of MIUI 9 using V9.6.2.0.OAHMIFD and by the time that my phone rebooted the notification for the OTA to Global Stable MIUI 10 or 10.0.1.0 OAHMIFH was already there and I downloaded it right then and there with no issues. Hope that helps.

Ok. Thanks. I've been checking updates but nothing yet. Guess it will be soon. How do you like it? Is the camera any better? Supposed to be some AI improvements.

Yes, this was reported a coupe of weeks ago. The date of the 15th was given. Don't know if this is a confirmed or rumoured date.

That's a good news. Phone is good, but os is so bad, seems like my old ZTE axon 7, sep-2016 ~ jun-2019, finally I recycled to $35. Finally there just be few ROMs. I hope k20 pro don't encounter the same thing:crying:

There are a lot of very talented devs from India here on xda, so hopefully many of the POCO F1 devs will buy this phone and move their excellent work to this.
Mine has finally arrived and so far it's great, have removed as much bloat as I can and just waiting for the 7 days to finish when I can get the EU ROM on at least. Personally I would like to see official LOS on my phone.

LOS is simple and powerful, this is faith. I've just unlocked my phone days ago, EU ROM has some issues till now.

Talk about the issues, I've given up with EU ROM. I just fastboot flashed Android Q beta several hours ago, at least, it's pure Android experience.

It's something I'm considering trying. Do you know which release it is? Is it the beta 3 or beta 4 release? The official Xiaomi page doesn't give much info.

4. There might be instances where videos downloaded from the Google Drive does not show length of video in the photo gallery.

I was using EU development ROM when I meet random reboot issues, I think I should try EU stable later or next release.

Yes, I found it on MIUI official site, but after days using, it's really not good at all. Please do not flash that ROM as daily ROM. If you like AOSP, check phh's thread, I will try it 3 days later when I unlock my phone.

XDA article was false along with everyone else's. Its their fault for not digging deeper but Redmi India also pulled a publicity stunt by hiding information about this update. The update is still for beta users, its a "beta stable" update, sent to those who signed up for beta testing before and you can also sign up now to get it later. Its not a public release.

This is a stable ROM. The version numbers of the Indian and Chinese ROMs tell us that it's part of the stable releases.

i was using custom rom(Havoc OS) before so i dirty flashed it. and yes i flashed the EU Stable one while my frnd updated to Indian one

I have the Chinese variant and I'm stuck on 10.3.17, check for updates and nothing, it's on July security patch, I live in the UK so not sure if that's why

The first batch is always on first come first serve basis. If no major bugs are detected, they'll push it again post 72hrs. Wait for the second push.

Received the OTA update today morning. Been testing it. No problems of any sort till now. Everything is working as it should. Did not notice much of changes from 9 to 10.. Only thing new I noticed was the digital wellbeing ...
Guess will have to wait for MIUI 11 for those changes..

Using Dark mode doesn't make changes to all the apps. Also, themes do not apply properly in dark mode.
