I just received a new update on my Redmi Note 7s

can we use this on redmi note 7 ?

Oh wow , can't wait!
But what's new seems not so much significant. Or is it?

This is a new Global Beta Stable and is currently being pushed to random users.. The same for Redmi Note 7 Global, a new Global Beta Stable V10.3.9.0.PFGMIXM is also being pushed now to random users for testing before public release

Yes, it's the same phone with a different camera sensor. It has the same code name and everything.

He probably means the button that says receive updates earlier or something like that I just flashed LOS so I can't check the correct name.

Its not a major update. No bog changes. But they fixed battery drain issue. I used to get bad battery backup on 10.3.6. but in on 10.3.7 i am getting good battery back up.

If you have indian note 7 then dont. If you have the global version of redmi note 7 then my be you can bcz Redmi note 7s (indian global) is the same Redmi note 7 that launched globally. Btw Its a ota update. Just wait you will receive this 10.3.7 update soon. But i am not sure if you are using EU rom.

My question is, when will the beta stable become non-beta but official release to all users? How long does it take for beta to become official usually?
Pilot users = guinea pigs. Unless I'm getting paid to use them, I'll wait until official/stable is released whether it's stock or custom ROMs?

Is there a changelog? Just curious

Xiaomi 11 miui12.5 doesn't work at all. Hope to release the ROM of pixelexperience as soon as possible

I have a test sample with official test EEA ROM based on MIUI 12 and it's working fine, but as far as I know there's no MIUI 12.5 official (test) EEA ROM yet

Personally I am on 12.0.7 official Chinese rom and everything is fine... Will check next week to flash on Xiaomi.eu rom

I have xiaomi.eu on another Mi11 sample and it's working fine as well, even if I prefer the EEU one

Not much different, just using Google dialer and sms

I prefer pixel experience to MIUI

You can still get them with root and it's only for lower end models as far as I'm aware

I have Google services installed on my CN ROM mi 11 with MIUI 12.5 and everything seems fine. Even after some OTA updates to get to version 12.0.17 stable of the ROM. I hope there are no plans to eventually make the CN ROM incompatible with Google services?

I have prepared by beginning my bootloader unlock yesterday. It'll take a week, that's why. Kinda sad, as I originally was very happy even with the Chinese ROM, but I guess that's the end for it.

has anyone tried downloading gapps on miui 12.5?

seems like it gets easier actually on 12. 5

No problem here on MIUI 12.5 on Mi 11, Google services preinstalled and Safetynet passed as usual.

Question Touch function quality

Recently i bought xiaomi 11 ultra Chinese version with global rom about a week ago, coming from OnePlus 8 Pro (that was my main device for last 8 months).
Last week i noticed slow touch response and i feel the touch function was very slower than OnePlus 8 pro (120 Hz refresh rate and FHD+)
I have disabled accidental edges touch and restored the original theme.... No difference
Anyone faced same issue? Any advise ?
My xiaomi 11 ultra rom is Indonesian official rom that i was flashed after unlocking bootloader.

I never tried this, i have a Chinese version with eu rom miui 12.5.12.0 and im amazed how good it function for me.
I like it better vs S21Ultra which i sold 3 weeks ago

I have Chinese with global too. I would say i had this one time when the tocuh response was **** and the display was lagging but then i locked and unlocked everything was normal.
It's a one time....other than that i see it very fluid.

With the latest global ROM update this problem has been fixed

Google sheets was very laggy touch while working , i will try to record a video with other phone...

Fair deal... But i will bet on you dont have tried out miui 12.5.12.0 then, because this is super smooth all the time... Yesterday i got 12.5.17.0

No this is not the recovery rom, this is just the firmware you need the recovery zip package. Once downloaded you can push the update with the 3 dots in the updater app choosing "choose installation package"

Beta is the weekly update, everything is not always stable because of... Ya Beta.
Stable version is ya, stable... And get updates every 2-3 month around BUT, if you like smooth and stable this is for you (like me).
