extreme brightness control - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there anyway to control the extreme brightness on this phone. On my nexus 6 you could toggle it off and on. I want to use extreme brightness sometimes inside or in the car when its not in direct sunlight.

LED brightness

I've noticed the LED brightness varies. I like my brightness to the max. I did notice one day that once the Power Saving is enabled, the LED gets dimmer. I have the Power Saving feature to turn on only when it reaches 20%. Anyways, most of the time I barely hit that mark before I charge it up again. I notice that sometimes I will have a very bright LED notification and other times it's not as bright. Is there any way to force it to be bright all the times (except when Power Saving kicks in of course)? Auto brightness on the screen is off by the way. Not sure if that would affect the LED brightness but it's off.
I am pretty sure the notification LED is also controlled by screen brightness. That way you don't get blinded at night by it. Also just so you know with auto turned off, even at full brightness you will have issues in sunlight. If you set it to auto, in sunlight you will get about 30% more brightness then you would just set at max.

I could understand that if the auto brightness was enabled, but it's not and the LED brightness fluctuates.

Control screen brightness at <5% batteru

This annoys me a lot. Once you hit 5% battery, it auto dims to below regular minimum brightness and removes your ability to adjust it.
Any way I can disable this "feature"?

Adaptive brightness question.

I searched and found no real answer. My question is does it use more battery life to have adaptive brightness on which allows my screen backlight to dim way more on default. I've read and been told leaving it off is best however with it off my screen can only din to what appears to be about 25 percent. Does the service running to adjust the brightness use more battery then just leaving it at its lowest with adaptive brightness off?

The problem for battery drainage with adaptive setup is when the brightness gets cranked up to high in a well lit surrounding even though at times its unnecessary. With it off you can simply apply a brightness percentage that is okay for you in most conditions like when you're mostly in the same office for hours.

How to Enable Outdoor Mod in Note 8?

My previous phone was J7, J7 have a option for MAX brightness called Outdoor Mod, Now How I can Enable Outdoor Mod in Note 8? Yes I want to get Maximum Brightness.
Setting autobrightness on, gives you the maximum possible brightness under direct light conditions, outdoor sunny conditions
@ winol, not work.
Dr Ketan has released an app to enable full brightness (root only)

Try turning on Hi Performance mode & set the increase brightness setting to max (10%). Works for me without HP mode though. IIRC when max brightness turns on under direct sunlight it only lasts for 15 mins.

Rog phone 3 peak brightness

How can I increase my ROG phone 3's peak brightness from 475 nits to 727 nits?
What I can find on the internet is it's achievable in MAX AUTO MODE.
But I can't figure out what MAX AUTO MODE is.....
If anyone can help, I'd be much grateful
Thanks
Max auto mode for brightness is where you turn on "adaptive brightness" option under Display settings - the brightness will then automatically adjust based on ambient lighting conditions . For e.g. in bright outdoor sunlight, brightness under Adaptive Brightness On settings may hit 700+ nits.
Manually (= Adaptive Brightness Off) the brightness may be maximum @ 400+ nits, when you slide the brightness slider to full.
Some custom kernels may give you option of adjusting the brightness manually to below & above the stock default levels; e. g. manually ramping up to 700+ nits or so.
