Hi guys so I am here and I need help with my Motorola Moto G 2nd generation XT1064( US and CANADA). I flashed a custom rom and now I want to go back to stock but I searched everywhere and I can not find anything for my model. If someone could help me find the stock lollipop ROMor post the rom here I would really appreciate it. Just to make sure again it is a Motorola Moto G 2014 XT1064 I live in Canada and I am with wind mobile. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi guys!
I really need the last firmware KitKat 4.4.2 for the Moto X (XT1058) from Telcel Carrier.
Someone can upload the firmware or rom on page Motorola Firmwares
I hope to be uncomfortable :good:
Greetings from Mexico!
Sorry for my English
Hi dude, I'm from Mexico too.
I already have 4.4.2 but by OTA, haven't you checked manually in Settings > About phone > Software Updates ?
I had to check manually for the OTA to appear. If that doesn't help, let me know so I'll search something for it.

I have been looking for this also for some weeks now without finding it. I want to manually flash the SBF because I unlocked / rooted my moto X, and that seems easier to me. Have you found anything?
Hello Guys.
I am Darshan Sangani. I have bought Moto X recently, now I want to root my Moto X it is an Indian Model. Its model number is XT1052. Today I'm running on latest version of KitKat 4.4.4 .I request developers to give me a safe idea for rooting my device.
If anyone have idea how to root Indian model of Moto X XT1052 please send me a tutorial video or write me down a whole description and other links for supporting things on my email id at [email protected]

Please use the search function before creating a new thread
I searched but I didn't received for Indian model of moto x .I tried to root my phone using slap my moto but it didn't work
There is a whole Indian model thread and a reference guide for rooting. Please just search next time.
It makes no difference what area or carrier you're on.... Rooting methods depend on Android version and locked or unlocked bootloader.
Hey all,
Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Moto G part of the forum LOL. Anyway, I have the XT1045 unlocked (no carrier branding). I flashed a Lollipop ROM, but want to go back to stock kitkat (or as close as I can get). I'm having a hard time finding anything. Suggestions?
Thanks.

XT1045 is the LTE Version of the first generation Moto G. Please ask at http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g. I'm sure you can get better help and info over there. Moto G (2014) forum is only for XT106x.
Okay but I checked with a mod who said it was in the right place lol. Makes sense though..
Hi Thanks for reading. I rooted my moto g using the latest guide here and it rooted fine, no problems at all. But then now my phone is stuck in speaker mode. Sound only works through speakers even though head phones are plugged in. Even if I make a call, the sound would still only come from speakers. My headphones and jack are fine. I have also factory reset to solve this but no luck. Please Please I would really appreciate if someone can help me. I do want to apologize if this is not in the right section. Please help me. Thanks in advance.
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Do you have the 2013 or 2014 model of the Moto G?

I have 2014. Well guess what last night flashed stock firmware twice and it resolved the headphone issue. But now there is no sim settings under settings. None of my sims can be recognised. I tried updating everything but then no luck. Please help.

Check whether its an kernal issue. Try another kernal. Did you flash XT1064 (Single Sim - USA) Rom instead of XT1068 - (Dual Sim Intl) or XT1069 (Brazil dual sim)..Rooting doesnt cause these issues as far as i know
Hey everyone, I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but I'm very new to the whole rom-switching and phone-rooting world.
I have a Verizon Moto X (I believe it's XT1060) with stock everything. I am absolutely sick of waiting for Verizon to release the update to 5.1.1. So, I want to do it myself, but I still want it to be Motorola's version of Android. Can someone please give me a step by step guide on how to do so? Thanks!
Are you in 4.4.4? If so, your are SOL.

I am on 4.4.4. Why is that bad?
Is Verizon cdma? If it is, then I don't think there's another rom available that you can flash
It's here you should get ota
