I guess you didn't see this thread in the GENERAL Section -> [One Stop Shop] How do I root my Moto X - Let's end the confusion
Your phone falls under the first point.. Unlocked bootloaders. (Maybe it should be titled "unlockable bootloaders")... so in particular see this post -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54671918&postcount=70

Read the original thread this QA thread is about, and you'll see PwnMyMoto was patched a very long time ago. It worked with 4.2.2.
I suggest you see this thread in the GENERAL Section -> [One Stop Shop] How do I root my Moto X - Let's end the confusion And read under the section titled... Locked bootloaders on Android 4.4.4 Or you can read just this particular post in that thread -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54671918&postcount=70
Yes, those are the same links I put in Post #4 here, but the info you need is contained in them too.

What ROM or Android Version is on your phone?
The vulnerability that PwnMyMoto exploited was PATCHED/FIXED in the first OTA update to 4.2.2 w/Camera Patch (october/november 2013). So unless you're using the initial 4.2.2 ROM that shipped on the X back when it was launched in September 2013, PwnMyMoto wont work!!!
In other words....
Please be advised that.... PwnMyMoto only works on the initial shipping 4.2.2 rom from Sept 2013. If you have taken any updates, you can NO LONGER USE PwnMyMoto!!
This Q&A thread was started by a BOT on these forums, not a person. The initial thread it points to discussing PwnMyMoto is from September 2013 and Jcase even posted in the first post of that thread that the "latest OTAs patch this exploit" on Nov 3, 2013... i.e. it wont work with newer roms/updates on the phone.
Will this work on Moto X 2nd Gen AT&T Lollipop?

1. This is an old Exploit that has been patched a while ago.
2. The Xt1052 can be boot loader unlocked, so you don't need an exploit like this... You can root by unlocking the bootloader, flashing twrp and installing SuperSu.
When i go to use the PwnMyMoto and click install it says App not installed
please help

What phone and what ROM?
As I stated earlier in this thread, The vulnerability which was exploited by this process has long since been patched.
So unless you have a 2013 X with 4.2.2, you can't use this.

Why do people post in a forum with a phone that isn't even the subject for the mod!?!?

[REQUEST] Help to achieve GravityBox for Lollipop compatibility

As some of you may know, it was released the first version of GravityBox for Lollipop. Unfortunately, for all Moto X 2014 users, for any variant of the device, the installation of the module resulted in bootloops and black screens.
My request is for help of the experienced developers who can help the module's owner to achieve compatibility with our beloved device.
Me, and many users of the Moto X 2014 will be very grateful for this help. Thank you and regards!
Waiting for it for my entire life!

It isn't that hard. Visit the official Xposed for Lollipop thread and read the first two posts. In post #2 you'll find a flow chart which advises you how to identify the correct version of Xposed for your device. Check post #1 for download links.

Xposed Installer on S5 Neo (SM-G903F) 5.1.1 Possible?

I'm sorry, this has surely been answered somewhere but after spending most of my day trying to get Secure Settings working on Lollipop and a few more hours reading about the trouble rovo89 had with bootloops on Samsungs I'm totally confused. His thread didn't say he'd solved the issue but I found a couple of other threads that looked like they'd tried fixing it but I couldn't find anything specific for my phone model.
I have a freshly rooted Galaxy S5 neo running stock 5.1.1. and I have no idea if it's odexed or not (I used the Chainfire method to root). Can I use Xposed Installer on this? If so, where is the download please?

Please refer to this thread for information and discussion about Xposed for Lollipop. Read post #2, it contains all the information to identify the correct Xposed framework for your device. Most likely, you will need wanam's Xposed version, but please use the table provided in the official Xposed for Lollipop thread to identify the correct version by yourself.
Thank you! That's probably the one relevant thread I didn't find!
