Since the update, cinema mode goes off when you switch it back on. Ids their a way to keep it on.
The other thing is while in cinema mode can i not double tap screen or something other than power button to see the screen.

Is there a way to disable your phone going into sleep mode during a call or preferably stop it from going into sleep mode entirely. if you have slide to unlock s2u2, sleep mode is pointless. let me see if i can be a lil more clear...i dont want to have to hit the power button everytime i want to "wake" my phone up. i mean screen shutting down and going black to reserve battery power is cool but hitting a button should be enough, not pressing the power key. and agian i think s2u2 renders this pointless.
You can use Kaiser Tweak or Advanced Config to change you Fast Sleep settings. It is one of the first options. It has been talked about a lot search for it.

I have only tried this on my Lumia 920, but it should work for other devices also.
Go to batteries settings and force the phone to go into battery saving mode. This will turn the back lights on the keys off.
Having the back light off is good when you are reading something on the phone at night.

It's like those android phones that lit the keys for a while then turn the lights off and you can't see where the buttons are you you tap like a tad around the phone just to go back.

Al, even better, disable the cinema mode altogether!
I press the button by mistake with my bike glove each time I ride. It's getting really frustrating that I constantly have to press the button again and again to get out of that stupid mode.
Yeah i'm having the same issue when I snowboard. I'm hoping we can disable that button altogether. I don't ever use it.
Hello, today I wanted to turn on screen on my watch but it seems to just not work, touch works properly , button too I can reboot it by pressing power button for a while but screen won't turn on even after rebooting.
In addition since yesterday watch after going to ambient mode changed screen color to orange like maby that can help ?

I have my watch timeout at 30 seconds, which works well for me in general, but if I'm using it at night, or if I forget to put bed mode on and move my arm, I'd like to be able to instantly turn off the screen. My old Xiaomi watch would turn off with a button click, and was super convenient.
I bet I'm missing an obvious way to do that,

Another option is if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone, set the sleep mode in Bixby Routines. It automatically turns off AOD.
