Hi. Thanks for this. What will happen if both cache.img and hidden.img files are deleted and the resulting rom flashed? Will the old CSC be kept or there'll be a failed flash? Thanks

thanks , i'm ganna try this

if the system.img is too big? don't worry!
delete it and flash only the files that you can
and now seriously:
and what about, flash the complete rom with all files? without workarounds?
This is a good idea for a howto thread!

It gives this error;

i think no need for steps to be given , cuz Heimdall is showing you what actually you have to fill in the blank areas ... just before all of this , when you download Heimdall , extract it on any folder , click on drivers 1st , then from the options , press show all the devices , choose samsung and hit install , then close it and go through Heimdall and do this

I wanna downgrade to Froyo as i cant seem to conect to any Wifi network at all. currently on 2.3.4 GB XXJVQ
I have tried every god damn step out there, include a full factory reset+forget netwrk+keeping netwrk open etc
Would i actually need to tick the upgrade bootloader option?Some posts say yes and som say you will get a bootloop
the older fones havea way of making Eclair/Froyo work on GB bootloaders
Can som1 point me in the rite Direction, ?

Google it or go to droidangles
