Hello. What was of the call blacklist feature? There's no more in the security settings. Very useful in Kit-Kat. Please add it to Lollipop as well

Other phones like the symbian's have this features enabled where you'll get a notification kind on the phone dialer display itself if the other person puts you in a conference or hold...do we have that feature in our phones like by modifying the phone.apk by the developers or do we have to request in the android project ??
[Q] how to call activity or show alert dialog in the beforeHookedMethod, urgent!!!
thanks!
Your question seems too general to me. But for calling activity or showing alert dialog, all you need is a valid Context.

thanks for your reply, but how can i get a valid Context?
my request like this,
MainActivity( activity i want to start)
XposedMyClass(my Xopose)
in the XposedMyClass i hook loadpackage and find a special package was loaded ,then in the beforeHookedMethod, i want to start the MainAcitivity, how to implement it, thanks!
Context ctx = AndroidAppHelper.currentApplication();
I didn't see a way to add a custom vibration for a contact but thought I'd ask anyway.. Normally you would edit a contact and Add a Field where you could set a custom vibration pattern.
Is this not available in Lollipop on the Nexus?
Bumping to the top to see if I am missing the option..
As informative as they can be, the new app icon badges and unread counts on the Galaxy S9's home screen are a little redundant since Android already has a notification center. If you'd rather not have these little dots overlaid on your home screen icons, there's an easy way to disable and hide them.
You can thank Android 8.0 Oreo for these new controls. Lucky for you, your brand-new S9 will have Oreo out of the box, so you won't know a world without it. Those without an S9 will have to update to 8.0, if they can. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait until your OEM releases the official update for your Android device.
Changing & Removing App Icon Badges
To begin, open Settings, then tap "Notifications." Locate "App Icon Badges" and disable the switch next to it. Just like that, all of your S9's apps will no longer display an intrusive badge.
If you'd like to keep the badges but remove the unread count, tap the words "App Icon Badges" (rather than the toggle), then tap "Show Without Number." Your apps will then display a more subtle badge when notifications are present, but will hide the number of notifications themselves.
You should note, the above instructions apply to the S9's stock app launcher. Other app launchers, such as Nova, will have different processes for disabling and hiding these badges and counters.

A new phone is always exciting, but there are a few annoying issues with any device. One such issue is the new persistent Android System notifications in Android Oreo on the Galaxy S9.
If you're coming from an older Android phone, you may have noticed the new Android System notifications in the notification shade on your new Galaxy S9. This is a new feature with Android Oreo, and is intended to make users aware of any background apps consuming battery or taking up resources. Unfortunately, these notifications can be a bit annoying for the average user. If you don't care about the odd app using extra battery, there is an easy way to disable these notifications.
Disabling the 'Apps Are Using Battery' Notification
After swiping down the notification shade, swipe right on the the "X Apps are Using Battery" notification. This will reveal a Settings cog which you can tap to access the notification settings for Android System. Tapping on the cog brings you to the detailed notification settings — here you will scroll down and find "Apps consuming battery" in the list of system notifications. Turn this notification off and life is good!
It is worth noting that there are a number of Android System notifications that cannot be disabled, such as Wi-Fi status and missing SIM card alerts. These offer critical user information that you should be aware of. Still, you can tap on the corresponding notification type and switch it to low priority so there are no interruptions with your work flow.
With the relevant Android System notifications gone, your notification shade should look significantly cleaner.
Re-enable App Using Battery notification
After you've disabled the App Using Battery notification, is the a way to re-enable it?

In Oreo:
Settings > Notifications > Advanced > [Three dots in upper right] > Show System Apps > Scroll down to Android System > Tap Android System
Thanks so much. Worked perfectly.
