my tilt is very slow

dear friends
i have an at&t tilt.
i left u.s.a for a project about a month ago and i wanted to use my tilt here with a different sim card, i called at&t before i move and they gave me a code to enter to use my tilt but it didn't work.
i am just a user and i don't know how to work professionally with my cell and i started to read xda-developers to find out how to solve my problem and i found a thread about how to break the at&t code and use it with another sim card.in that thread mentioned several times that if you don't do it right you can damage your tilt and i really didn't want to brick my cell that is why i gave it to someone known as to be a professional in htc. he opened it and also changed its windows mobile to a htc version which i very nice and i can use it now but there is a very bad problem with it but this time i want to solve the problem myself.
the problem is sometimes (most of the time) it gets so slow that i have to keep pressing the surface up to 3 seconds to work (touch pad has got very slow) it is just like it is frozen but it is not it is just damn slow, very annoying it is just like it doesn't have enough memory or there is a problem with cpu or ... ?
i still don't have any programs on my cell. i reset it several times but it didn't help.
please help me
yours truly

My experience: first time install Lokout --> first crash!
I didn't got whats wrong, phone reset, everything I needed installed again, Lookout installed---> two time crashes!!!
Lookout uninstalled two weeks ago, no more crashes (instant reboot because system fault)
I don't say it is something wrong with Lookout, in my case went wrong!!
Yes, I have had a couple of random reboots while using the phone, don't know why.
Same issue. Reboots ~twice a day.
Checked logs - nothing interesting. Only once i saw there kernel panic backtrace, but unfortunately i've lost the trace.
It was somewhere in the wireless code, with pretty message "EAGAIN!"
Checked kernel sources, found the message in the wl_iw_iscan_get_scan function.
After i have provided that information to HTC support, the support told me to change my SIM card to newer one (i have SIM that made in 2004), and to set the field Network mode at Settings->Wireless and networks -> Mobile networks to the GSM only.
Changed settings. Waiting for reboots )

This is interesting.... does that mean we bought a 3G phone to run on 2G network?
if you have a decent provider, you can always ask them to send you a new one. Usually they will give u a new sim-card for free. Also add the message from HTC it will be more convincing

About time, someone highlight this auto-rebooting problem, im from singapore and i can tell u guys its a major problem amongst incredible s users here, 2 out 3 experience this on their incredible S. I can confirm its not apps that is causing it cause mine auto-rebooted fresh out of the box, and some users did a hard reset and still experience the problem. Apparently the first Htc incredible also face this random reboot issues. Im thinking possible hardware..

hmmm... I got the phone for almost 2 weeks... and the reboots took place at an interval of about 3-4 days
however, IIRC, 1 reboot took place before I went to bed, and it was in 2G...
so.....
Hi,
I'm an IS owner, the first one I had rebooted 3 times in 1 week.
I also had other problems with this phone and I decided to turn it back to get another one.
I tought it was just with the 1st but I encountered reboots with this one too.
I think it's a major problem with the IS, and I hope it's just software problem and then will be fixed with the GingerBread update, I hope so.

May be it's different problems. I have at least 2 reboots a day, and after moving to 2g - no any. Still testing.
Going on 3 weeks and my phone rebooted for the first time. Hopefully this doesn't become an ongoing problem. I came across another thread where people were talking about their phone rebooting a lot.
I will be visiting local HTC service centre later today.... and I would like to see what they have to say about this issue.
After all, I have done quite a fair bit of troubleshooting myself:
1. Change SD card (original 8G class 4 -> 8G class 6 -> 16G class 4 -> 4G class 4)
2. Factory resets (soft and hard)
3. Change of SIM (I have 2 lines )
If I can get anything today, I will update
Two days without reboots. Changed SIM and switch 3G on. Testing...
My sister has an inc S and she had now in about 4 weeks 5 reboots. 3 in the first week. I'm keeping an eye on it now to because she asked me for help, but I couldn't find out the problem. I think it could be firmware related. So I just hope GB will leak soon for the Inc S and maybe it will be fixed then.

Random Restart Issues

I am hoping that someone can help me. A few months ago my phone randomly starting restarting so I talked to Motorola and they said for me to just send back the device and they would give me a new one. The new one did the same exact thing so they sent me another one. This one is doing the same thing as well.
I am assuming it is an application that is causing the "restarts". Sometimes the screen goes black for a few moments, all of the applications close, and then it comes back on without a restart. When the screen starts working again the SIM card takes a few moments to start working again but other than that no issues.
When it actually restarts completely, the system crashes completely and automatically restarts. When it does this it always will say "Android is upgrading..." and it takes about a full hour to use my phone again.
I am on a Moto X 2014 with Android 5.1. I just use my phone for work and its pretty much unusable. My hope is that it is an app that is causing it to crash but I have no idea how figure out which app would be causing that type of issue.
It is most likely a rogue app. You can try installing all your apps. Then install one at a time and wait. If it happens after you install a certain app, then that is the one.

Were you able to figure out which app was causing your problem? I've been struggling through the same issues you've described, but haven't been able to track down the app responsible yet.
I don't know will this help or something....
When I bought my first android phone Desire HD, my network was Vodafone.....
I used to get constant reboots till I changed to AIRTEL network......
I had no idea why a network was causing reboots but still changing to AIRTEL fixed the issue....
I know there's no relation bw network and reboots..... But still rare things can happen right???

Actually networks can cause those issues. My wife had a samsung phone a few years ago that I had to disable 3g on the carrier entel or it would reboot. She had to use 2g until she changed carriers.

Need suggestions about a Samsung galaxy 6 edge plus

I recently got a galaxy 6 edge plus from a customer I had because his contract was over and didn't want to keep his phone because the touch screen stopped working and he wanted a smaller screen for his hands (older gentleman). He have me his 6 for helping him set up a new phone on pre paid for him and because it didn't really work. I was able to get the touch screen working with a factory reset as it seemed to be just a software issue but in doing so cane across the frp screen. Called the gentleman and he said he might remember his gmail info and could meet me sometime in a week or so. My question is if he can't remember his login when I meet up with how screwed am I? So far I've tried doing the otg method and side sync with a pc just to see if I could do it without him but no luck so I'm thinking it's running 7.0. If I try to roll back or flash android will that work? Any ideas?

[HELP] Phone doesn't work!

Hi, I bought a Redmi 4X some years ago!
After using 2 or 3 months, the phone (calls) stops working!
I changed the SIM card by a new and working one!
The smartphone works well with wireless connection, but the "radio" phone is dead! It's not able make/receive any calls or SMS/MMS messages!
I take it to a store and was told me that the only solution is change all the board of the smartphone!
This is not a solution, because the price is almost the same of a new smartphone!
There is any solution for this?
Thank you for your help!
