Where is the Commander tool in Android Studio? - Android Studio

I cannot see it. It is not in View --> Tool Windows... So????

If I got you right, you are talking about Commander plugin. So, to enable it, go to Settings > Plugins > Install JetBrains Plugin, then search for it.

Thank you very much.

Creating shortcut

Hi,
I just installed IPSMS app :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=328242
But, it does not have CAB installer or such.
I just unzip it to the "Storage Card".
It works fine though ...
But how can I make a shortcut or something so I can add it to the HTC Home Plugin launcher tab ?
When I tried to add a new item in the HTC Home Plugin launcher tab, I cannot find it listed and I cannot navigate to the Storage Card ...
Thanks for any help.
You can do it in Windows. Attach the Kaiser to your PC, navigate to the storage card, and use Windows to make a shortcut in the Windows Startmenu on your device. I am using my Mac now, so cannot verify, but I believe that if you right-click on the program you get an option to make a shortcut. Then just copy that shortcut into the Starmenu folder.
Alternatively, use Resco explorer. Tap and hold the program and in the context menu choose Send - Send to Start Menu as shortcut.
Thanks I did not realize that "Start Menu" folder.

Lost JAVA application after SKTools Cleaned...

Hi,
I just installed SKTools and tried to free up some memory. After I ran it and it "cleaned" up certain things - I noticed that I lost my whole Java section on the phone.
The java section meaning the application needed to launch the various Java apps.
I really don't use the many Java apps, the only one I use on a daily basis is the Gmail app for Java.
How do I get this feature back...
help!
Recreate your java.exe shortcut from \Windows into \Windows\Start Menu\Programs
and DON'T USE SKTools to clean ever again.
If this is too hard to figure out, hard-reset.
thanks i will try this immediately

oh okay thanks...
This happened to me too but no need to panic. All SK Tools does is remove the shortcut as it sees it as a "redundant" shortcut for some reason. SKTools has probably removed some other shortcuts too which you will only realise when you need to run that particular app!!!
I use Total Commander v2.5 (Freeware & latest version) to recreate shortcut. You need to make all files in ROM visible first in Total Commander, then you go to Windows and find the java executable and create a shortcut which you then place in the Windows/Start/Programs directory.
VOILA!!
This sould sort it out.
NEVER use SKTools to do a system "clean" as this will always happen.

FUZE File Explorer missing from the start menu

Hey all,
got my fuze last week, pretty excited. I was trying to find the pre-installed you tube s/w, I read from a post that it should be available in the file explorer. I do not see that in the start menu. Maybe this is too very primitive, but just getting used to a WinMo
Thanks in advance for the help,
Yegappan
Hi yegappan,
From the "Start" menu go to "Settings". Go to "Menus" in the tab "Personal" (which is default when you click "Settings" from "Start"). Scroll down and you will be able to see "File Explorer". Check the box and you should be all set.
P.S. The start menu may not allow you to have more than x number of menus so you may want to uncheck some other menus to add "File Explorer".
Hope this helps.
Thanks
pkshr, that is not correct.
To locate file explorer: Tap "start", "programs", "tools".
You will then see the file explorer icon.
From there, once selected, it should show up on your start menu as a recent program, if I'm not mistaken.
Hi Short fuze,
Sorry I dont know about yours but in my att fuze it is Start>Settings>Menu (Personal Tab) where you have to check the "file explorer" checkbox. This will add "File Explorer" in the "Start" menu.
Thanks
you are correct sir
Thanks guys, i found it under the tools...

Missing link

Hi,
I need help ...
I just installed SKTools 3.1.12, and I used "Clean Up" tool ...
The SKTool cleaned up suppose to be junks, temporary, or bad shortcuts ...
But now, my link to Java (Esmeretec Jbed) is missing.
Do you know how to recreate it?
I used to have "Java" icon somewhere in the "Programs" or "Settings", which I can click to start Opera Mini 4.2.
Thanks
when i view the properties of the "Java" link file with resco explorer, the shortcut points to:
"\Windows\jbed.exe"?MPI_ProgramIcons.dll,-121
note that this is on my current ROM (PDA Corner Ultimate X2.V8). also, i can gather that for the above to work, there must be a file called "jbed.exe" in your windows folder and another file called "MPI_ProgramIcons.dll". can't decipher much more than that but perhaps someone else can
on a side note, i'm curious why you are using opera MINI when opera MOBILE is available for windows mobile and it is oh so much better! for one thing, it doesn't need java (i.e. its a native application) and it has a desktop rendering mode which works pretty well! give it a shot!
I tried to create .lnk file using my PC, content:
"\Windows\jbed.exe"?MPI_ProgramIcons.dll,-121
And I placed it in \Windows\Programs\
It does not work.
About Opera Mobile, it is slow ... unfortunately.
And I installed 9.7, but the Turbo mode setting cannot be saved permanently:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4878752&postcount=798
Fixed!
I used Total Commander, copied something.lnk to Java.lnk.
Edit the Shortcut to the above content.
Thanks ASCIIker!
Just a little info:
Get Opera Mobile from the source Opera Mobile website and the Turbo Mode works just not when dowloading you have to change setting refresh page.
Mind you i still use Mini as it's just soooo fast
Re: The bit in shortcut @ end after and inc ? points to a .dll and the no. of the resource so as to use custom start menu icons.

How do I disable the confirmation that i sent a text

the phone is annoying as is and just having that makes it worse.
for the x2
Download and install "CeRegEditor" search google if you don't have it yet.
(1) Plug in X2 via USB to your PC, make sure its connected.
(2) Open CeRegEditor.
(3) Connect to your phone.
(4) Select unlock registry under "tools".
(5) Navigate to: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings.
(6) Find string value "SMSNoSentMsg" and set the value to 1.
(7) Save and disconnect, DO NOT TRY TO RESET using the software. It does. not work well with the X2 for some reason. Instead power your phone off or use hot reset tool under SPB Shell or similar.
(8) When phone has restarted it should not do that anymore.
error:check connection between active sync:disconnected
when i try it it gives me that, active sync is on and connected

its designed for touch pro but i run it on my xperia with no issue.
Just import the attached reg- file. (to imort Registry-Files use (for example) SkTools or Resco Registry)
Better yet, use Advance Config. Use Google to search it and download version 3.3
thanks guys, i ended up using total commander to edit the registry.
