want to install system update ..i have found a dump bt can not flash it shows midp not found
Hi fellow HTC One M7 users,
After initialling upgrade my M7 to Marshmallow I have loved and embraced the features but felt like Lollipop would be more stable. I have searched all over the forum but could not find concise instructions as to exactly how to downgrade from Android 6.0 --> Android 5.x safely (Change from ART to Dalvik)? If anyone can help towards this, it would be greatly appreciated!
Nothing much needed. Just wipe your system, data and cache in the recovery and flash any Lollipop ROM you want, then you're good.

Don't you have to downgrade the either the firmware or the radio? i forget.
Because Lollipop uses Dalvik runtime and Marshmallow uses ART.
Hi. After instalation Android 6.0 and downgrade to Android 5.0 my phone is does not define mobile operator "SIM Card error". IMEI is not lost. But but everything works fine when installing Android 6.0 ([ROM][MM][6.0.1][18-08] CyanogenMod 13.0 - UNOFFICIAL BUILDS for M7 [cam fixed] or [ROM][6.0.1] Slim6 [m7])
I restored a backup my Stoke firmware but nothing has changed. The phone is not define mobile operator. Please help in solving this problem.
HTC M7 (Ukraine)
Hboot 1.61 (Unlocked/s-on)
Radio 4T.35.3218.16
Ok, problem is solved. I used RUU and everything works fine.

No, the radio and the firmware aren't related to the system.
Also, dalvik and ART are part of the system you're using, they're not "inside" your device. They're bundled with the system image (so, the ROMs) you are using.
IIRC no official Android 6.0 was released for the M7, as such, even if we flash 7.x (if it ever comes out) we'll still be using Android 5.x radio and firmwares...
Hi!
I have an MTC Unit with android 4.4, RK3188 processor, 7 inches, and it's already rooted. I want to know a few things:
1) I don't have physics buttons, how can I get into the recovery mode?
2) How can I know if my unit is MTCB, MTCD or MTCC?
3) If I have android 4.4 can I install android 5.1 with Malaysk ROM?
4) If I want to install Malaysk ROM, I have to use 800x480 or 1024x600?
5) Is there any way to use NAND flash memory to install apps, without install any custom ROM?
Thank's for your help!
Regards.
I didn't think that I would have issues, but I think this I may have jumped the gun on this. I tried flashing Xposed framework v87 on top of BenzoRom, a custom AOSP ROM running 5.1.1. lollipop. I flashed the correct version for it too, (i.e., arm and sdk22) and I'm unable get past the boot screen.
This was my first time doing it and I didn't know if it would cause any issue, so I flashed it anyway in TWRP. Probably not a good idea. Does anyone know if Xposed framework is strictly supposed to run on stock Android or can it run properly alongside a custom rom?
It should run fine. But have you checked if what you downloaded is intented for lollipop version? As far as i remember there's a x64 and x86 version??? Uhhh.. it's been a year since i used xposed. If you can still run to recovery might as well reflash to stock using wugfresh.

sdk22 is the correct version for Android 5.1.1. Lollipop.
Hello!
My Moto X2 currently runs a firmware called VICTARA and Andorid 6. I looked for that here and I see it was built on Cyanogen Mod. The thing is I also read here that newer builds are made in Lineage OS. I'd be upgrading from Android 6 to Android 7.
I don't know if the process is the same as it used to be when I updated my phone back in 2015 with that Victara firmware. I mean, do I just have to run CMD and tell it to flash? I'm asking because I really don't want to brick my phone
And another short question: in Gapps webpage do I choose ARM 64 or ARM?
Thank you
