XT1097 AT&T Downgrade 5.1 -> 4.4.4 - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello!
Can somebody tell me, is there some way to downgrade my XT1097 AT&T (locked) to 4.4.4 from 5.1?
I want to make downgrade because i have clean Google Now launcher, and don't have Moto X launcher after reset.

First off it is impossible to downgrade a locked AT&T running 5.1.
Second there is no such thing as moto x launcher. The default launcher that comes on the moto x IS the google launcher.

OK, but it was dark/black on 4.4.4, and now it is white and ugly. And seems there is no way to return dark moto theme except of using some external launcher like nova launcher...

Correct kitkat was dark and lollipop is white. You will have to use another launcher such as nova. There is no way currently for you to downgrade.

Rom help Verizon moto x Dev edition

I've got root access and TWRP installed on my Verizon moto x Dev edition running 4.4 kit kat. And I'm wondering if I have to install ROMs that are only 4.4 or can I install ROMs like P. A. C man rom that is only 4.3.1. Also other ROM suggestions that are compatible with my setup are appreciated! Thanks!

As far as I know, you can install anything. I would do a nandroid backup in recovery first and give it a shot. Flashing won't touch your recovery.

Winam Xposed doesn't work on moto x

Root App for Moto G

Hello, I have recently bought a Moto G XT1032 with Android 4.4.4 and I want to root it.
Before this, I had a Nexus 4 and I rooted it with Nexus Root Toolkit, is there any app like this for Moto G? Or which is the easiest method to root it?
Thanks you very much.
I will use this, I hope it works. http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/development/ultimate-moto-g-2014-toolkit-t2979862

Rooting stock 5.1

So I'm planning to root my X for the first time and I'm on stock 5.1.
As long as I remain on stock the moto features do not get affected right?
Also, if I am on stock rom but rooted, will it affect any future OTA?

The stock features remain unchanged after root.
You can't take an ota with root. You have to be 100% stock for updates to work.

Its worth noting that you can just fastboot flash the system prior to taking an OTA to allow it. No need for a full factory reset or anything.

There you go. 100th thanks
Also, how do I check the status of my bootloader? I've got a pure edition. Pardon me for the stupid question but I've never used a device other than a Samsung which were pretty straight forward to root.
If by any chance I need to come back to stock rom what would the steps for that be?

1) Power off phone; 2) Tap and briefly hold Power and Volume Down. The bootloader version will show at the top of the next screen.

Looking for a tutorial on downgrading XT1095

I sideloaded 5.1 and would like to downgrade.
You can't. It's that simple.

Will I be able to update to M when it comes out or will I have to keep sideloading since I did it once?

Should I update? (verizon)

Hey guys. I just got this mobile (verizon) a week ago. Its not a Dev edition.
It keeps prompting me to update to lollipop but I wanted to unlock its bootloader first. Since everyone has been telling me that its impossible, should I wait in case a procedure comes up or should I update it to lollipop?
Yes.
What firmware version are you on now? Anything below 4.4.4 can be unlocked.

If you're talking about system version its 212.166.4. But its currently at 4.4.4
