I have been checking for updates since Google released the Nexus security update last week. I saw the ZTE update this morning. Not bad!
As well as the security patches the release notes also mentions Camera updates, option to disable Z-spaces (is that the swipe up from the bottom? It appears to be now disabled on my phone which is good), visual effects improvements for SMS, Email, Recording and Music, Audio fixes and fixed incorrect battery display.
Anyone else see it yet?
Yup got it too hopefully they will keep it up and eventually unlock the bootloader.
Installing as we speak. Hope it doesn't break anything.
I was so excited to see it! Hopefully they keep coming. I freaking love this phone
Downloaded and installing. Minor update, but this is a good sign from ZTE that they're listening to reviews and opinions and will keep this phone updated. I think this is the fastest I've ever seen a software update come out for a phone that wasn't just a "oops, we missed something" fix. Way to go ZTE.

Did you already install the 19 update listed in the title of this thread? If yes, that is the latest.
Hope the Lux get's something too. This thing could be a beast of a phone if it had stock android.

I have BTV-DL09C100B303. Didn't see -B307 on firmware finder. Pretty strange: I'll check again.
BTW the -B303 is stil BlueBorne vulnerable and introduced some annoying bugs.
EDIT: no way still -B303).

I think by now we know about your panic.....go on and change and things are ok. But please stop. I have never heard, never had and probably never will have to deal with Blue-whatsit.
I for one knew beforehand that Huawei are not too keen on updating.
I also would be interested in which file needs to be used from the above....I had the same problem using Firmware Finder....

No quote. Who are you writing to?
EDIT: yes, I guess it's me.
First, I'm not in panic since I'v been waiting for months.
Second, that was the last check before shipping the tablet back, because I like(d) it a lot.
Last firmware check got no news, so I regret to say that it's not my problem any more because I'm not an M3 owner any more. As simple as that.
Of course each one of us is free to make its own choices, I'm not here to complain forever: I acted as a Consumer and the Producer was damaged by its own behaviour.
I'm not a zealot: I'm a second chancer, anyway. So maybe I will be back again with something else.
I hope that for that time, Huawei will have learned the lesson.
No quote because I am referring to the post before mine.....
I fear the harsh reality is that Huawei wont learn any lessons from your postings, no matter how often you point to them.
Anyway, best of luck with your next device.
I forced this update as soon as it popped up on FF today. Comes with November security patch, emui 5.0.1 (can't notice anything new btw), and low resolution power saving mode is still not working, but oh well. The changelog mentions better touchscreen calibration and improved battery life but I can't tell a difference. I'm pretty happy that it got updated, hopefully they'll fix the low res mode for power saving, back on emui 4 it made a big difference in battery life.
This version is not vulnerable to blueborne btw.
The only difference I've noticed from B303 after 5 days is an increase in standby battery drain. Very annoying.
Actually i have the 303 version whit firmware finder and I saw that there is a compatible version of 307 dated 20.10.2017. Are you reecomended to force the update?

Well, people complaining in mass with Huawei, or better some americans suing H. for millions after being hacked because of BluBorne... I imagine those things could change Huawei's behaviour.

Thank you. I will keep an eye on Huawei products, though. By the hardware point of view they are very nice, but this Huawei's attitude of considering software security as "not so important" is anachronistic.

I would also like to Upgrade to B307. I saw that there are 2 Versions available in Firmeware Finder. Which one should I get? The 2,4GB or 500Mb?

moto g5s plus
This device will be upgraded to the Android 8 (Oreo) release of Android, pending partner support.
Do you have the latest Motorola software
I bought mine at Best Buy
Will almost certainly be 32Bit.
And we will still be waiting a while because the notes say that we get security up thru June 1st which hasn't happened yet. So implementing that will take probably a week at least. Soak testing will take probably 2 weeks, so we will probably see it late June/early July.
It sucks that they aren't doing anything about our awful camera(s).
Android OEMs get the contents of the security updates weeks in advance, so it's understandable that they'd release the June security update a few days early. It happens all the time with manufacturers that actually release updates often.

Split-screen implementation in Pie sucks. Not terribly fond of how you remove apps from queue, either. Everything else is just fine so far, though.

This is exactly what Xiaomi did to Mi A1. I don't know what's wrong with HMD. First, their devices are insanely priced. Second, they prevent us from using our device the way we want by not allowing bootloader unlocking (official). And now they are not even being punctual on providing monthly security updates.
Disgusting!!

Same.. 1062 in US. And hate the split screen implementation. Also the longgg swipe to get to the apps. I disabled that gesture setup for that very reason.. pity google forces this for pixel 3. I will use Nova if they ever do this for my phone.

They have the means to contact every single N7+ user and send a message with that information.
"Subject: Nokia 7 Plus October Security Patch
Hello dear user, due to our inability to provide the update in time(or any other bs excuse by Nokia) we will be skipping the October Patch and will deliver the November patch in the normal schedule. Sorry for the incompetence(inconvenience), Best Regards, Nokia Support"

Yeah that's definitely a plus, it was one of the reasons I converted, worked so much better on 9.0.5, good for everyone who's still on stock, device works better now and they said nightmode got an update too, so pics should be nicer in the dark.
So they added the stability updates, but ripped out everything else it seems. Not cool. Wonder how long it'll actually take us to get the 9.05 build.

Got this off reddit. Seems to add the new gestures from 9.0.5(?) as well as other improvements. Can someone who got this update on the TMO firmware check to see if the gestures are actually the ones in the latest update. Then we can confirm that the TMO variant just has a different naming convention.
Also, the build of that is 181029 while the 9.0.5 intl. is 181103
