If you're looking to update play services manually, you'll be looking for 240 as the 4 is reserved for Android M with latest releases.

I did the trick to get the system updates, clearing data for Google Services Framework and I got the update last week.
The rest of my family with Android phones haven't gotten the update though, strange...
I still prefer OsmAnd maps than Google Maps. They are cool on desktop, but on my Nexus S not so cool & fancy
What issues have you experienced on Android 4.3?
In my case the wipe dalvik cache starting apps on boot bug still exists which is just irritating and the developer of Clipper has found a multi-clipboard crash on Android 4.3 which was reported to Google.
Miracast no longer works with play music app. Guess they disabled because of their chromecast dongle. Very naughty google! Taking cues from apple now?

I heard that other people had the same issue, try wiping the Play Store cache and data, if that does not work then do the same to Google Play Services of it is there (icon disappeared and turned to an android on my side in the battery menu).

To clear Play Store download error delete Google account and then recreate, Store will then work correctly.

Most of these "issues" that you're talking about are not 4.3 issues, they're app issues! Apps need to be updated to work properly on 4.3!
Nexus 4+ Franco + LTE
Delete it from the store or my phone?

I keep getting a sync error but other than that no issues at all

True BUT Android 4.3 is causing this class issue for certain applications and plus this thread is about the issues within the OS, application issues to do with the OS itself and much more.
Basically this is about issues people suddenly get after the update.

No no no, you just try wiping the Play Store or/and Play Store Services and if that does not help and you are using the first email you added to the device then you need to factory reset.

Awwww, Google removed that useful glitch where if you keep pressing refresh you can see the package name and the type of activity it is running in the battery menu. D:

Are the notification light working properly with the 4.3 or we still have to use Light flow to get them?
Since getting the ota update to 4.3 my nexus4 has been having performance issues especially when playing games. Playing a simple game like candy crush is stuttering and having a drop in frame rate, is anyone else experiencing the same problems?
Hi, I have some litle issues too.
Go Launcher Ex's notification icon permanent stayng in my status bar. I install the old version and nothing change.
In Apps>Infor for Go Launcher Ex, I set to not show notifications, but after restart I'm geting icon again.

How did you remove your Google account?
It's impossible without a factory reset.
Sent from my C6603 using xda premium
Settings>Accounts>Google Account >Sync menu>Options>Remove Account
It is possible.
Sent from my C6602 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah you are right,i thought it was impossible cause in earlier android versions it was impossible.
About your issue try uninstalling Google play service and playstore than clear data, reboot and let it update itself again.

Just want to know what version of Google play services everyone had installed. Particularly the 3 digit device specific code.
Example
6.7.76 (1745988-030)
The 030 would be the device specific code.
Thanks.

Too bad this requires for the device to be rooted
Or you can just download get assistant app from playstore and you get it in one click
None of this is necessary.
Just make sure you have the most up to date Google and Play Services apps, clear data and cache for Google app, reboot. Hold home button to enable.

After updating your apps, go to settings, scroll down to "Personal" section. Select Google at the bottom of that section. Scroll all the way down and select Search. In Search select "Enable Google Assistant." Select "continue" and then "Get Started". After that, you should be able to access Google Assistant. Of note, I am using the latest beta versions of Google Search and Play Services.
