I have an sm-9208 duos and I tried to find why my gallery application doesnt synchronise and show pictures from facebook drive dropbox etc..
What I found is that from my phone is missing the Samsung cloud service (present on my Note 4)..
Even the cloud setting is missing under the personal settings..
Does anyone know how I can fix that?

I hate this app but I'm stuck using it cause that where the off screen notes save to.
Anytime I create a new off screen note, a notification comes up saying couldn't sync to Samsung Cloud. I can silence the notification but it shows in the app too & is annoying. Any way to disable that?
I have all cloud services disabled as far as I know but doesn't matter as it seems it's the app that is the issue.
Why couldn't Samsung have just stuck with the good ol' Snote!

All good, but thanks. Yes I did finally figure it out. It was a permission issues that was causing that message & would have caused a sync issue as well if I was using sync. I originally only had storage granted for permissions. Granting contacts & phone fixed the issue like you said.
I prefer not not sync my notes. Samsung currently has no way of deleting the sync'd notes off their cloud through a webpage. You need to use the original device that was sync'd to delete anything notes saved in their cloud. Had to find my note Note II & fire it up to delete the sync'd notes saved on the cloud.
While, I'm here anyone know the location of the saved notes for Samsung Notes on the Note 8? It doesn't seem to save to internal storage like the old Snotes did. I think it's somwhere /data/data/com.samsung.android.app.notes but I can't figure it out. I currently only have 2 notes but in those folders nothing matches up.
Why there isn't option to sync cloud in gallery ?
Yes it's missing in the M20. I also want that feature. Samsung removed so many features and apps to make the phone faster.
Ok, I know that Lg Cloud Hub is integrated to the Gallery and how to activate my cloud accounts.
Does anyone know how this really works in the background? Is it syncing automatically?
I installed the OneCloud app and signed in via settings/accounts. And without doing anything else, all my photos are now synced with my OneCloud? I don't really mind, but it would be nice to be in control.
Also, when I try to add/sign in to, OneCloud in the File Manager and the Gallery, it won't let me? It says I'm already signed in but it doesn't show in those apps?
Anybody else experienced this?
Hi guys, I am just wondering what cloud service is everyone using for their Gallery backup.
I am a Dropbox guy, and unfortunately, it only upload my camera-roll folder.
What I really want to do is save "all" the photos and videos in my phone.
So I am thinking to use another cloud service, may be OneDrive.
However, after uploaded all my photos/videos in the background using OneDrive,
I realized that the total number uploaded in OneDrive does not match my phone's total files.
(My Note 9 has like 7000 photos for example, and OneDrive seems to only uploaded 6985 photos)*
Is OneDrive no good?
I know I can always upload using a cable, but I think i just need an app that does it perfectly in the background so I don't forget.
Any suggestions*is appreciated...
Thank you!
Nothing wrong with OneDrive in general, i think they are all similar anyway. Maybe onedrive is excluding duplicates or is not capturing some folders, worth checking
So I have had my Samsung s10 for a while since January and you can have a samsung account. Its annoying that you have to have a samsung account just for discord in the games launcher as well as to see what other apps to update in the galaxy store.
The main reason is it can backup my phone such as lock screen settings app icon layouts. Not sure what else having a samsung account can backup. Settings as well as Samsung app settings. As I used to use helium app to backup and sync since 2011 but development seems to have stopped as I get few bugs and issues with the app that makes it hard to use.
I do use folder sync to move taken photos and screenshots off my phone to cloud as well as backup signal chats.
The dark side of having a Samsung account is privacy and control over my data.
So any advice and what things did you find when having a Samsung account?
