Also The battery life is not a very good
Thank you
Yeah its normal, you can underclock to reduce heat and power drain at the cost of some performance.

Can be that your device itself is faulty, but that is a rare case.
Temperature is something that is very complex, and one of the cause of high temperature can be that the ambient temperature at yours is high.
it can also be with the apps that runs in the background and constantly harvesting your CPU, eating battery, thus produce heat.
Since you said battery is not good, then my first point may be valid, you might have a faulty battery and such battery might also disseminating heat.

When I install any CM10.1 ROM, it has decent battery performance but as it gets older (and more apps installed), Android OS starts sucking more than 50% of the battery. The battery life reduces to around 1.5hours of screen ON time.
I've tried almost every ROM for CM 10.1 and problem is consistent. How Do I fix it?
Following screenshot is for battery overnight (screen not turned ON at all in 8hours and battery dropped by 20%)

Check for the Google backup feature. It could be using the battery and data usage.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
read ahalfords sticky on wakelocks, try identify drsin by actual cause, might be an app that causes it and the os
build in energy overview is really crap on identifying true cause
Are these normal? Not charging and just basic usage with Web/text and streaming music. Phone feels warm to the touch.

That seems hot. Mine is usually in the 80-95 degree range for the battery. At 81 now, I'm just doing some texting and Web browsing.
At 87 now at home - work office was stupid hot today. Maybe that had something to do with it.
Phone is warm and battery is draining after Lollipop update...
I have updated to the lollipop update like you and my phone is warm and sometimes hot.
I am not using my phone and it still gets warm and drains the battery life.
In 4 hours i will go from 100% to dead with no use. I searched the MOTO threads and cant find anything as of now to resolve this issue.
Hope help comes quick!
For a while my CPU usage is kinda high on "standby", around 50% on average to be a little more precise. And what I mean by "standby" is doing nothing on the foreground, even after just booting. In other words, nothing on the background besides all background services from all my apps, of course.
But one question I have is, shouldn't I be able to see which process exactly is eating my CPU? Because I can't seem to figure that out... Here's two screenshots from this app, one from the CPU usage and the other from the top apps using CPU. Something doesn't make sense here...

I'm running MaximusHD 33 and ElementalX 14. I know I haven't updated in a while, but surely some app/service should have a higher CPU usage on that screenshot so I can pinpoint the culprit, even if it's the "system".
Hello Friends. I got a warning that the "Air Temperature is Low bla bla" with an indication that my battery is not normal, for example my battery is in the 80% position and it drops for a very long time, but suddenly from 80% to 70% or even below. and when I'm charging in the 50% position, but it doesn't go up as if charging doesn't come in, but instantly from 50% to 60% and keeps going up. This abnormality when I checked using Franco Kernel Manager the temperature position reached minus for example -37. And suddenly the temperature returns to normal and the battery is normal.
I think the problem is with the battery, I've replaced it 2 times with different brands but the problem doesn't go away, anyone knows the solution? I'm so dizzy, thank you.

Dear xiaomi users.
This is my 11Tpro device and i have been checking the battery with accu battery app. It shows 8.89V at full charge, which seems to be too much high for a series connected lipo battery.
For series connected battery, maximum safe voltage is 8.4V. But this has more than that and it doesnt stop charging even at that voltage. About 5W is flows to the battery at 100% also and voltage is showing as 8890mV. Is this normal?. Are your devices same?

did you click on the option "dual battery cell" in accubattery settings? also, what is your miui version?
Thats normal, its a high voltage battery. Voltage limit written on the battery itself is 4.45 V. Times two equals 8.9 V.
