Incipio Feather for Nexus S First Look

Hey guys,
Last night I went to Gdgt Live in Austin and Incipio was there. I asked them if they're going to release feather cases for the Nexus S and they said that they'll come out within the next two weeks! This could be a viable substitute for the barely there case since they're almost the exact same thing. I have the feather case for my Zune HD and I <3 it!

I have an Incipio case for my iPad, and I love it. Let's hope Incipio can come up with a good quality one for our phone.

If it comes out before the barely there case then yes. Oh and I forgot to add one more thing, they told me that the price should be $19.99 for it.

i much prefer incipio feather cases, ive always purchased them for all my phones

I like the feather cases but I think ill wait for an otterbox.

Incipio Feather for Nexus S is out!

$24.99, I want 2 but that + the international shipping hurts my wallet, I hope the quality is what the price says

I cant imagine spending more than a couple bucks on a case honestly. But to each his own. I also treat my phone like my first born son lol

I've tried one that I believe you're talking about, it is another thin polycarbonate case. Couple of things I noticed that are different:
1- Feather has 1 large cutout for camera/flash, the one I tried had separate cutouts
2- Feather's inside is soft touch, the one I tried had a glossy inside and soft touch backing
3- Fit on the eBay ones is not as tight (which worries me, since I feel dust/debris can get in and scratch backing)
Other than that they are very similar

Thanks for the video. If I were to get any case I suppose this would be it because I hate bulk, but that price is a bit too high... and no screen protector either, lame lol.

I ordered mine (Fedex!) a few minutes after they posted it on the Incipio website and it came today. I already had the Feather case for my Samsung Focus, so I knew what to expect.
It looks great, but the best thing about it is that it doesn't wiggle or squeak like the Seidio Platinum case. Be warned, however... this is a case for people who don't really want a case, if that makes any sense! This won't protect your phone as well as a fat, ugly TPU case.

Hey, I take offense to that insult on TPU cases! They do protect the phone quite well.

Best REAL leather case?

I am looking for the best REAL leather case that anyone knows of that will be out. Or even some high quality leather case maker that you have used on another phone that you do not know if it will come out. I am tired of searching and I like the zenus but before I commit to 60+ on a case (I rarely buy cases so this is going to be the one I commit to) I would like to see all the best options and opinions

without the snap closure, I would be a happy man. That case looks perfect.
Wish I could find one that for the card slots had a clear cover for one so I can stick my license in it, and have it be visible.

No problem, just another forewarning that it has a magnetic clasp system. It might affect the screen, creating a dead spot while in the case. Not too sure if it can cause permanent issues just know there was a thread going around warning about the issues with magnet cases. I'm also assuming for that price that its faux leather, just another aspect of the case to bear in mind. Other than that it does look pretty nice :good:

Yeah, my hope is the magnet is too weak to cause issues.
This will be my theme park case so I can consolidate my wallet and phone into one.
And for the price I won't mind if it takes some damage unlike the cases that are 4-5x as much.
Let us know about the one you ordered, that can be my professional case... lol

Easecase produce custom-made Leather cases (different designes and colors, different closures etc.) - I had two of them for two different phones. Always a good quality

@rooqy I tried lot of cases including this one, but I never got such a good feeling like with that Iphone case. I'm still looking..

I have it, and love it. best case I've ever owned from the perspective of slim and light. It is NOT going to have quite the premium feel of that matte silicone iPhone case, but keep in mind it's also not $35+. I got mine for like $9 shipped. It's soft, but has a bit more of a soft plastic feel (it's still incredibly flexible and soft) than the silicone case will. still, it's a really solid case and one i plan to keep as long as possible. i like that you get a really good feel for the volume and power keys on the side, and, even though they dont advertise this well, there are thin textured "grippy" areas on the bottom half of the sides of the case, which really help with grip. overall, this case was exactly what I was looking for, and I'd recommend it.

I'm not sure how many of you know me from other areas of the forum, but I'm a 'casaholic' as one might say. I currently own 20+ cases for my Nexus 6P since its my daily driver, so I will chime in with my recommendations below as well as some reviews when my cases start to arrive.
1. Hands down best case: Speck Candyshell. I love this case for my 6P because it not only has great grip, but it will handle drops like a champ
2. Incipio Dual Pro: This is my current 6P case that I fell in love with. I've owned many of their cases (I have one on my Surface Pro 4 too), and haven't been disappointing. The last time I had one for a Samsung phone was with my wife's S5 before the one for my 6P.
3. Spigen Slim Armor/Tough Armor: Spigen has historically made some nice cases, but I haven't had a good experience with their newer Neo Hybrid's, so I chose these instead. I've had a Slim Armor for many phones ranging from my Note 3, LG G3, to my Motorola Nexus 6. The case might not be the best looking, but it gets the job done.
Slim cases:
1. Ringke Slim: This was my favorite case for my Nexus 6 last year due to how slim it was while still handling minor drops.
2. Diztronic TPU (assuming one comes out) their cases are excellent as is their customer support.
I will add some reviews as I get cases, accessories etc... If you want to see how I've written reviews in the past you can look in my signature, so you know what to expect once I start to post them.

You should see my OP for the 6P. I haven't added in the past few cases to it just yet, but I literally have a box of them on my bookshelf. I bought the Speck clear black Candyshell case because I know it will handle any drops that I will inevitably have. I don't think I will go overboard with this phone (I always tell myself that) because I'm not a big Samsung fan to be honest. I just thought the idea behind their camera set up was interesting enough to give it a try, and I like to have a backup device just in case.

I was using a Spigen Neo Hybrid for my S6 Edge for a long time and loved it, but eventually got a Mophie battery case because I needed to use an external battery all too often. I'll probably get the Neo Hybrid for the S7 Edge that I pre-ordered and hopefully the battery will last longer for me and I won't feel the need to go with a battery case.
But, while I was looking around at options I noticed that not only is Mophie already planning a case for the S7+Edge, but they are announcing that it will finally support wireless charging (yay). It is only a +60% battery option as opposed to the S6 Edge case which was a +100% battery option, but given the larger battery in the S7 edge a 60% boost should be plenty for me (I have often needed the extra power from my S6 Edge Mophie, but I have never run out with it - and 2600*2 < 3600*1.6)...

I'll be looking for a subtle transparent silicon cover over the coming days. A great combination of protection without making the phone look s**t. I don't see the point is buying a phone that looks like this then covering it in something that takes the looks and feel away.

Yes. I wouldn't say they are outstanding, pretty much you get what you pay for. I think that they are slightly lower quality than OtterBox. Less bulky though. I will probably get one if it includes a belt clip

They seem to offer alot of options that mount to their cases. They even have a cupholder flex arm car mount (used to use one that didn't clip the phone years back).
The question is that proprietary mount on the case reliable? If it slips loose, or peels off the case it's a fail. If it's secure and doesn't accidentally come undone it could be a great choice.

in retrospect this isn't the one that I thought it was. I am looking at reviews on Amazon for some of their previous products. Honestly they don't seem very good. I am probably going to pass. But I am like you, and hoping to find a nice rugged case that doesn't add a ton of bulk.

I'm still waiting for Rhinoshield to start selling their case. That's what I'll be getting.

I just got this case to tide me over until something better is released. I'd never even heard of the company, but for just over $10 with shipping I figured I'd give it a shot.

Haha. I've been waiting and checking their website daily. Last email I got from them is that we can expect it in November sometime.

Just got my UAG plasma case doesn't add much weight little bulk great protection for camera and screen even with the official OnePlus screen protector on ordered direct from Urban Armor Gear shipped in 2 days think it's going to be a good one
