I've been window shopping for rugged case for my upcoming 7t purchase. I haven't found many options, but I found an interesting one.

Anyone ever heard of this company? Their Twitter account is all about videos they liked?

Yes. I wouldn't say they are outstanding, pretty much you get what you pay for. I think that they are slightly lower quality than OtterBox. Less bulky though. I will probably get one if it includes a belt clip
They seem to offer alot of options that mount to their cases. They even have a cupholder flex arm car mount (used to use one that didn't clip the phone years back).
The question is that proprietary mount on the case reliable? If it slips loose, or peels off the case it's a fail. If it's secure and doesn't accidentally come undone it could be a great choice.

in retrospect this isn't the one that I thought it was. I am looking at reviews on Amazon for some of their previous products. Honestly they don't seem very good. I am probably going to pass. But I am like you, and hoping to find a nice rugged case that doesn't add a ton of bulk.
I'm still waiting for Rhinoshield to start selling their case. That's what I'll be getting.
anyone have thoughts on the spigen casetough armor?
The Ringke Fusion x is due out next week according do another post, I quite like that one.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7t/accessories/ringke-fusion-x-t3993107
I just got this case to tide me over until something better is released. I'd never even heard of the company, but for just over $10 with shipping I figured I'd give it a shot.
I'd say it's good, but not great. Definitely better than the case that came with the phone.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Y2SNMD...nt Protective Cover for OnePlus 7T(New Black)
That fusion x is probably about the best bet. The one I posted is really cool but I'd rather get a product from an American warehouse. The one in op even strips retail packaging for shipment from China unless specified.
Maybe they will end up on Amazon too? Could get both the. Lol >_>

The case sold on Google Play is completely different. It has a cover over the screen that you open like a book, and it's made out of TPU. The Incipio case is a hard case, with no cover on the front. The Play store also charges tax and shipping, so that $20 ends up costing $32.83. The Incipio case is only $24.99 on Amazon. Tax is about $2.37, and if you have Amazon Prime shipping is free. That comes out to $27.36, which is a better deal IF you are looking for a low profile hard case.

seems like a pretty solid case that doesn't add too much thickness to the device. my only gripe is that it doesn't hug the borders enough, i mean if you were to drop it on a corner, it would still get damaged or scratched to some degree. please correct me if i am wrong on that
Not to threadcrap but for 25 bucks....doesn't seem worth it. A tpu case that's 4 bucks shipped seems to be on par with this case

Have you purchased both so that you have an actual comparison, or are you just assuming?
TPU cases add much more bulk than a slim hard plastic case. Just look at the pictures for a TPU case. You can see by looking at the cutouts for the buttons and speakers that there is considerable bulk added. The Incipio Feather case is much thinner. Similar to the Poetic Element case, which is also a slim fitting hard plastic case.

I completely agree with that. I usually buy cheapos on ebay, too. But, I haven't seen many hard plastic cases for the N7. Just lots of TPU's. I actually went with the Poetic Element case for $15 shipped.
Anyone find a good one?
Wow, I have the same question. This thing is super slippery. All I want is a rubber bumper, no back, no front. Can't seem to find one.
Same boat here guys. This is the closest thing I could find:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013A1IUVG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
I preordered last week and it ships next Tuesday, but apparently they are now backordered until october, I guess. You can always write and ask if they plan to have anything sooner though, I suppose.
If anyone has a 3d printer I guess you can try making your own, too....or even with just a box cutter and a cheap-o tpu case off ebay.

That isn't really a bumper case, it has a clear back piece and is therefore a shell case... there are several cases like that available, one example is the one I have, the Tudia Lucion.
I have not seen a true bumper case for the Moto G yet.

Uh.. yeah.. like I said it's the closest option I could find.. I know it's not a true bumper. I saw that Tudia but looked thicker than what I listed. Still wish they would make grip shells for this model like they did for the older models.
The poetic case has grips on the edges...just sayin'
My Orzly bumper case was delivered today. It's .... eh, I'd give it a solid 4 out of 10. Does it cover the phone, yes. Does it add a bit of grip, yes. Is it attractive, no. The search for a case continues...
I was able to remove the clear piece from the case. It's now a bumper! Not great, but a bumper none the less.

Yeah, tbh I'm probably going to get one... The Tudia case is developing an annoying spot by the buttons where it lifts the screen protector when i press the power button sometimes. I liked the case initially, but after having it a bit, it just doesn't fit as well as it should, especially around the buttons.

Be careful with metal bumpers. They're known to interfere with reception.
Thx for bringing that up, for me I doesn't have much of an affect as I live in a urban area, but I've heard that for some people it could reduce the signal a lot (not specifically for this case though)

Ringke Fusion cases are some of the best cases I have ever owned. super thin, extremely light, good grip.. lives through drops like its nobodies business, and the port covers are a nice added bonus. I also love how they change the feel of the power/side buttons to give a more tactile feel. it was extremely helpful for me with my N6 2014. Honestly, these cases legitimately have an effect on what phone I buy now. Like one of the reasons I don't want the blu XL or Axon pro is purely because reearth hasn't made any cases for those phones. I'm glad to see there is already one for the 5X.
But can we find more cases of another phones on same website ?

Perhaps its foolish to order four weeks ahead of the 5x delivery date... but the whole thing's been an impulse buy, so I ordered this one last night:

I'm not sure about you guys but I'm not all that thrilled with the cases for the OnePlus 3, including Otterbox. Nothing so far offers real protection.

Since you are online, can you confirm if this is a bug or not? I need a OP3 owner's opinion so that i can decide should i reset phone or not.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/data-toggle-bug-op3-t3404753
I ordered one local one from eBay in India and it turned out to be pretty good. It has all the proper cuts for access to ports and buttons and extra protection at edges. It also comes over the screen so that it doesn't touch the surface when kept facing down.
Got it in blue as clear case was out of stock. And yeah I am not a seller, it's just that I was tired of using OP3 naked and waiting for a decent case. You can check it out here - http://www.ebay.in/itm/OnePlus-3-1-...Impact-Soft-Gel-Skin-cover-case-/182176251410
I also put in a request. I prefer the more durable option.
Has anyone gotten an especially nice case that they would recommend? One that works with the official screen protector would be best as I think I'm going to get that.

In addition to the TPU case that comes with the phone (which I didn't know about, either), I got the Sandstone case from the official store.
It is awesome! Totally great feel to the Sandstone texture, grippy, solidly fits the phone, and all the buttons are EXPOSED (which I find to be ideal) as well as the top and bottom of the phone. It has a lip so the screen doesn't touch when face-down, but it's very minimal. I really love the feel of the phone in this case.

Yeah, I never buy cases for protection beyond scratches. It just makes the phone too bulky and ruins the experience for me.
