Is it just me or UK-cust Z1's didn't get Kitkat yet?

Hello all,
I got my Z1 through Amazon, my customization number is 1276-0875 (Customized UK). It took sometime to get the 4.3 update, like 3 weeks later the official release. Till now I didn't get any update notification on my phone or PCC for Kitkat. Is that normal? :|

You should need to thank god that you didnt receive 4.4 update. Because this update is full with bugs

I got it on mine. Unlocked Z1. But as other people have said. Just use flashtool. Doesn't alter anything its as safe as houses.

Individual carriers will be working on the update, testing/fixing etc. Probably better that you wait seems as there was so many bugs in the last one.

uk doesnt even have the .136 yet so dont expect kitkat anytime soon

Settings -> General -> About phone -> Update Centre -> Software Update

My battery barely reaches 3.5 - 4 hrs of screen on time with only Sync on..
I don't use Google Now and my screen brightness is at minimum. I have "4 background activities" selected in development.
Switching to ART returned more pathetic results..
Does anyone else too have the same drain?

Read the threads about custom recoveries. We've been working on it for roughly 6 months. With no luck.

The carrier plays a role in deciding when the update goes out. 5.1.1 is already available via XperiFirm for the German area if you do not want to wait.

I have already install there is only whith computer from sony Software i was looking whith ota until now thank you for your apply

Today my wife said to me that she got the OTA update message. She was on 5.0.2 customized German, totally stock . No root or recovery. Nothing extra.
She applied the update and now her C6903 is on 5.1.1.

I have a friend with stock vodafon spain, c432 install without problems but some apps stops without reason...
