5.1.1 is not hare - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello i live in Germany and i dont have receive update 5.1.1 anybody khow why?

The carrier plays a role in deciding when the update goes out. 5.1.1 is already available via XperiFirm for the German area if you do not want to wait.

I have already install there is only whith computer from sony Software i was looking whith ota until now thank you for your apply

Today my wife said to me that she got the OTA update message. She was on 5.0.2 customized German, totally stock . No root or recovery. Nothing extra.
She applied the update and now her C6903 is on 5.1.1.

[Q]- help about updating to 4.3

Guys how can I update my xperia z1 to android 4.3? Because in my case im using deodexed patch 14.1.G.1.534 rooted and updated to 14.1.G.2.257 rooted, i dont have software update in my settings because deodexed patch remove it to his firmware patch...
Any help will be much appreciated.thanks!

You need just Classic Flashtool: http://www.flashtool.net/index.php and any compatible FTF http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572195 Android 4.3. And you done. I did right now. If you want keep data unclik "wipe data" if not run like it is "FULL WIPE" and you get a new phone. Click thanx.

Download the firmware ftf file that is in the general section, download flashtool - the latest version which is 0.9.13.0 and flash the firmware.
So you mean guys is ftf update? Not android firmware update?..

In few days will be released a rooted firmware, Update Android 4.3 already rooted, stay tuned and just follow the steps from my first reply and you will be fine.

T9 keyboard for latest 4,3

Is there someone here who can make T9 from 4,2,2 as an app to install on the latest 4,3
When I updated to 290 it's still there
But after an repair it's gone even after update to 136

You should repair the phone completely from the update service, that should fix this for you

You don't have to repair necessarily, do a factory reset, after update is recommended.
I did update through pcc to 290
Then I had to repair it and did that with update service after that it's gone
I did a surge at Sony support forum and find that they don't have T9 from 4,3! 290:-o
But thanks anyway

They don't have it from 4.3 or there is not any T9 on 4.3?

Maybe is planning to adopt KK dialer in its KK update and hence removed the T9.. One can hope, right
I got my Z1 Yesterday. Upgraded form the Z.
I to want the T9 Phone pad style keyboard back.
