The xt894 is not optimized for gsm, and often requires a patch to work with some gsm carriers

It could be a software/firmware issue
Flashing with rsd lite may fix

With RSD Lite and install the firmware, but still the same, signal but up to hours, I get not detect the SIM, you must be a problem of the hardware, but not that component would be failing. Regards.

[Q] How do I upgrade cm10.1 to cm10.2 without losing my stuff?
Is there anyway to flash cm10.2 "over" cm10.1 to avoid re-installing all my apps and adjusting my settings again? What do i have to wipe and what not to wipe? Thanks in advance.
