Most stable, smooth, battery efficient Sense 7 ROM? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Over the time, my stock HTC One has become laggy and bettery life has been pretty bad. (I am on stock 5.0.2)
I, now, am looking to root my One and want a stable, butter smooth and battery efficient Sense 7 ROM. I came across many Sense 7 ROMs in development section - InsertCoin, ViperOne, SDv6, Artmod and others. Can someone suggest which one is the best in terms of the parameters I am looking for?
Thanks

I can only recommend Insertcoin, as I haven't tried the others.
If you combine this with the elementalX kernel you can achieve a pretty nice battery life.
Install X-posed and greenify for an even better battery

From all the roms I have flashed, I have found Sense 7 roms offer the worst for battery life. Kitkat Sense 6 roms seem to be the best for performance and battery life, but then that's just my experience. Each to their own.

Best Battery Live ever
try
1) [ROM] Android Revolution HD 92.0 with
2) Elementrix Kernel
3) Greenefy and
4) Xposed and the MobleActiveRadioFix (to fix Lollipop Bug)
5) (optional) if you like, change launcher to launcher ex - sense is very battery intensiv

[Q] AOSP Vs SamsungRom

Which is better AOSP Rom (CM7) or Samsung modified Rom (Darky, Juwe....)???
Apple or Orange? Which 1 is better?
Its base on personal preference as to say whether AOSP or Samsung based rom is better.
In general, AOSP for speed and Samsung based for battery life.
For me, I prefer battery life. =)

OK Thank you!
+1 for the battery life. Lets just hope we can get customisation and battery life soon

Everybody have problem with Samsung's base rom? My problem is install Plants vs Zombies on Samsung's base rom (Darky, Continuum) and play well, after reboot, the game was gone, no icon, only still 5xxKB for 7xMB of data. But if I install it on AOSP's rom (CM7, I only test this one and MIUI, but MIUI base on CM7) nothing happend

Battery Life Compared Between Editions

I currently use the official stable Sense 5 ROM that shipped with my phone, only rooted and am quite fond of the battery life. I use the Power saver feature and get excellent battery life with it.
My question is...
Has anyone done the full conversion to the Google Play Edition and gotten as good or better battery life without this sort of power saver feature?
don't hate Sense 5 but I like the intended functionality of AOSP

AOSP ! = GPe
Based on the battery stats thread, it's really a tossup. I think most get better battery from Sense, but I don't think it's that different.

Stock vs custom kernel (battery life, performance)

Just wanted to ask others about their experiences on using custom kernels vs the stock kernels that come with custom ROMs.
I've tried the custom kernels and it seems that they either sacrifice performance (screen on delays, random lag) or battery life (usually because of overclocking the GPU) over the ROM's stock kernel. I'm curious to know if others have experienced the same thing or if it's something wrong with my settings. I always flash the custom kernel right after installing a custom ROM so that everything's clean.
Thanks!
I use ARHD 21.0 and it performs better than att stock for me with better battery life.

Sounds like a classic trade-off. You don't get anything for free.

Custom rom

Hi! I am on stock unrooted. I want to try a custom rom. How is battery life, performance and overall stability. On stock i have 4 and a half hours of screen time. Cm based rom will perform better or the same at battery life? I want some reviews please. Sorry for my english.
Hi there!
Well, you can check out this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/help/stock-roms-custom-roms-t2920959
I must say though, battery life on stock roms are better then custom roms, but it really depends on your daily usage on your phone. I'm using CM11 Infected by _infected as my daily driver at the moment, and my SOT is always around 4 hours++

[Q] Sense over GPE for battery

I imagine some have researched this well enough, many seem to feel Sense based roms offer the best battery life on the M7. Not too many support the GPE roms for battery life.
Is this the main consensus, it's better to go for a Sense based rom when it comes to prolonging battery life?
I have found in general KK/Sense marginally out perform offical Lollipop roms, particularly GPE. I can appreciate ported roms, ie Sense 7 will probably not be so good for battery life. AOSP not so good as they are not based off official HTC releases.
I am away camping for a few weeks, with little opportunity to charge the phone apart from in the car. Anything that can give me an improvement on battery life will be a help.
I'll be happy with JB, KK or Lollipop.
