Hey guys, I have an unlocked HTC One (purchased from HTC direct), just moved to T-Mobile but their signal is way too weak around my house so I wanted to take advantage of the WiFi calling feature which is not possible with my stock ROM. Can anyone help with this issue? I know T-Mobile uses Kineto but...many thanks!

Theres a 4.3 T-Mobile rom floating around somewhere with WiFi-Calling, just flash that rom.
Any XDArs using AT&T with the Verizon G2 care to comment on how it's working for them? I am considering the switch and was wondering about any general issues - and possible use of a hotspot. I am running a stock 4.4.2 rom
Thanks!

Yep, I have G2 on ATT. You won't really get LTE unless AWS is enabled in your area. I'm running XDABBEB 24A stock ROM. The phone isn't my daily driver so can't say too much for stability but from the 24A thread there are people using it with great results.
There are also some users that have used it with TMO probably with better results since TMO uses AWS (Band 4) for LTE.
my 2 cents.
Thanks for the reply - can I ask if the hotspot works?
Ok, in case anyone is interested, - I made the switch to AT&T with my VS980 and everything went smoothly - I have HSPA+ (no LTE) - speed seems fine for general use - and working SMS/MMS, APNs were picked up from the SIM I expect. Hotspot works (though I have the modified apk) so far so good.
Do you know what base band you're using?
Hello everyone. I flashed my one m7 over to boost using samsung s2 as donor. Everything is working except 4g lte. I understand that at this point I cant get 4g lte with this donor but now I'm considering finding a cheap 4g lte donor and giving it a shot. I'm sure it can be done i'm just unable to find any definitive answers or steps on how to do it. Can somebody here tell me whether it is possible and how I might go about doing it?
I have a Verizon LG G2 VS980 on the way to replace my Nexus 5 which has become unusable due to random crashes (suspect a HW problem of some sort).
I am on AT&T and purchased the Verizon model since Qi wireless charging is more important to me than LTE (not available for the Verizon LG G2 on ATT, correct?). LTE is spotty where I use my devices anyway.
In any case, I 'm wondering whether I should root the device. I really liked the vanilla Android on my Nexus 5 and also Cyanogenmod on my other Nexus devices.
Features that are important to me in no particular order:
Wireless Charging
GPS/navigation
Solid Bluetooth
Google Wallet NFC payments
Would like to retain the knock on feature
Would like to install and use AT&T Visual Voicemail
Camera that starts up fast and easy/quick to change options/modes on (I thought the Nexus 5 camera app was slow and clunky)
Simple/easy/automatic APN setup for AT&T
I've done a search but everyone seems to use the Verizon LG G2 on T-Mobile but not many on AT&T. Appreciate any help. I may provide this phone as a hand me down to my parents who are on P-Tel (T-Mobile) so I would like to hear about opinion/experience there as well. Thanks!
Hello everyone.
I have an HTC 626 from Verizon.
I'm using it in Europe.
I noticed that the 4G doesn't work,
HotSpot doesn't work,
No updates (Currently 5.1, sense 7.0)
A friend told me that these are common problems with HTC Verizon outside USA.
Is there a way to enable 4G and HotSpot and get updates?
Will rooting and installing a custom firmware solve these problems, or they're hardware related since it's a CDMA/GSM phone?
Thanks in advance
where are you guys?
