This Rom is still installed with CWM right? WLAN does not work for me?

CWM : installation aborted. bad zip file.
Downloaded 2 times, but no way for flashing. tryed with touch recovery 6.0.1.2 and non touch.

If you come from JB rom than wifi wont work you have to flash any ics rom and flash back CM10 than you will have wifi.

Yes you have to do that , you can flash any of the custom ics rom not necessarily stock , and than go back and flash CM10.

Yes if you do full wipe all is gone.
I see what you mean even if you do full vipe there is still something broken dont know what but you wont have wifi if you have previous installed JB.

Exactly what I was thinking but wasn't sure. Thanks

It installed fine on mine, then when I went to install GAPPS it went all wonky on me.
It just keeps telling me that the setup wizard has crashed. Now even if I wipe and flash the rom clean, i still get setup wizard errors and cannot continue.

Gets tons of errors with the 4.1 gapps. Guess we don't have a 4.2 gapps?
Looks like a severely broken cm10 to me. Thanks!

Or just remove that assert line from the 10.1 updater script. That's all you need to do. Don't use the cm10 file as it's a lot different.

The rom is really cool for a preview build, the only things that don't work is browser and display in settigs crash

User error here...I tried deleting the assert line but am now getting an error 6 I believe. I may have deleted too much or not enough. Could someone be kind enough and just upload the working updater-script please? Thx in advance to whoever responds.

It copied my sdcard to a directory named 0. Each flash it did it.

You need to use the 6.0.1.9 recovery, or the new twrp. It is the same issue we had with old recoveries on the Galaxy Nexus. That should solve that, though I still have no use of my external sd

That's something I can live with. Will see how the next build is so I can dirty flash. I love having quick settings as the right side pull down, and also how pull down resizes to the contents.

Custom bootlogo for Exynos 7420 devices

/dev/block/platform/15570000.ufs/by-name/PARAM is a GNU tar archive, which contains the initial bootlogo image and we can safely modify those images

I think it will work on many Samsung phones (maybe all) if the param partition is identified properly.

yes its so. i edited the script too for s5 g900f and it worked too. but i cant find a stock note 5 bootlogo and i will install it on my n4 because i have n5 rom on it

Ask someone with rooted n5 to provide n5 param partition dump.

I can also confirm for I9305 that the PARAM.tar output from '/dev/block/platform/dw_mmc/by-name/PARAM' contains a file called logo.jpg with the following properties:
720x1280
72 dpi vertical & horizontal resolution
24 bit depth
resolution unit 2
sRGB
And seemingly made with Adobe Photoshop CS4 Windows
And also for the I9300, the output from the same path as stated before, the logo.jpg has different properties:
720x1280
125 dpi vertical & horizontal rezolution
24 bit depth
2 resolution unit
sRGB
And again, made with Adobe Photoshop CS4 Windows

very bad news..i create a custom splash sceen(same dimensions)..replaced on arter's zip..flashed..and..................black screen..no boot..no recovery..only download mode..flashed the stock rom via odin but nothing because odin say's invalid binary .tried your param.bin but also nothing..my phone is really [email protected] up..

try some different versions of Odin , it should work 3.10.6 seems ok
flash a normal firmware , don`t use that bin

I am using it since one day it doesn't lag and it is a bit faster than stock and I don't have any bugs for now

okay so the phone did boot up but when I try to turn it off and on, its stuck on the Samsung galaxy a5 screen and it says recovery is not seandroid enforcing set warranty bit: recovery

I don't have this phone and I don't have the files I need ,but I think this one works for other a500x devices to because alle what it's changed is the app,priv-app and framework I don't think they have much difference

Does not work on Samsung s9 G960F. I do everything according to the instructions, but after the reboot, the animation is played, the Derpfest logo appears and a white rectangle appears in the middle of the screen and black indents to the edges of the screen. Nothing else happens, the phone does not respond to the buttons, only a slight vibration occurs from the bottom of the screen when you press "force touch". What to do?
