Custom bootlogo for Exynos 7420 devices

/dev/block/platform/15570000.ufs/by-name/PARAM is a GNU tar archive, which contains the initial bootlogo image and we can safely modify those images
Here are some examples:

It works for me. And if anything happened you might just flash stock param.bin through "ap" in odin. If you wanna make your own logo make sure to NOT save it with gimp. If you make it with gimp then re-save it with paint or something like that.

You can free some /system space
Note: You need to have the Touchwiz Lollipop Rom installed on you phone so this Zip can work otherwise it is not going to work
Do not full wipe your device
Installation of the Zip
Download the Flashable zip
Reboot into TWRP Recovery and do a backup(if you wont to)
Flash the Zip without wiping anything ,the zip does it for you
After flashing reboot your phone and wait about 10min
Note:For the Devices A500G /F /M you have to download this Apps_fix_A500G-F-M zip and flash it after you have flashed the zip
And for the Device A500H you have to download this zip here Apps_fix_A500H.zip
How to Install Xposed
After the Phone boots succesfull
Download the xposed framework from here xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon_requestConcurrentGC.zip
Flash it with TWRP
After the Phone has upgraded the apps

I am using it since one day it doesn't lag and it is a bit faster than stock and I don't have any bugs for now

okay so the phone did boot up but when I try to turn it off and on, its stuck on the Samsung galaxy a5 screen and it says recovery is not seandroid enforcing set warranty bit: recovery

Can you please port this for the A500G? I miss xposed on my lollipop device

I don't have this phone and I don't have the files I need ,but I think this one works for other a500x devices to because alle what it's changed is the app,priv-app and framework I don't think they have much difference

can you prove it ? because i saw somewhere that the a500h has a snapdragon cpu, i am not sure

Modified PARAM partition, in which the bootlogo and other images exist. It simply acts as a image cache for bootloader.
I've been doing this mod for several samsung phones over the years and now when I got the A3 I wanted to try it out again.
I also attached a zip with the original logo since this partition is not included in the stock rom packages from samsung.
Here's a View attachment SM-A310F-PARAM.tar.zip in case something goes wrong when you try to make your own logo. You will probably only be able to reach download mode.
Or if you just want to get back to stock boot logo.
Unzip and flash the SM-A310F-PARAM.tar.md5 with Odin.
SM-A310F ONLY​Tested and working.
Flash in TWRP, reboot, and see the change.

I have a problem...
I took the Googlemod and created my own logo and inserted into the bin file. Now I have only a black image and the phone does not start anymore.
A stock-stream flashing does not improve.
I also can not get into the recovery, only in the download mode.
Can someone help me?

What odin version do you use?
Did you double check the file you made, so that it wasn't bigger than original param?

I am using ODIN 3.12.3!
Do I have to load only the md5 file or the logo file in the same directory?

Only md5 file. It contains the original param.bin.
No other files needed because the logos is already inside param.
Try with Odin 3.10.7

This can not be the md5 file you uploaded is only 231 bytes big!

I didn't check the filesize after md5 command so something must have gone wrong with that command

If you made a backup param, you can simply restore it by copying it from the place where you backed it up then place it to /dev/block/.../by-name/param

Installed on a5h. For whatever reasons installation of software seems slower, does not seem to install root properly, has no soft reboot to download or bootloader. Looks and feels very good.

Boot time is very very low

The other twrp recovery by ashtx (version 3.0.2.1) does not support rebooting to recovery using 3rd party apps or via the recovery option available under power options, the phone gets into a loop and doesn't boot, need to flash back recovery using odin to get it to boot.
Has anyone seem this behaviour in this twrp as well?

Is there any chance this can be ported to the Note 3? We have a lot of AROMA Installer ROMs, but I'd like to be able to stay on 3.1.0-0, if at all possible. Thanks!

Still working flawlessly. Am using it on the latest Stock Rom February Patch DBT. The ONLY disadvantage is the missing language support. It is English available only.

Instructions​With Twrp : download the .img file on your phone and flash it throw the older twrp by the image installation menu
With Odin : download the .tar file and flash on AP case of Odin

Do we need to flash "no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx.zip" also? Because i don't see it in instructions.

If you use stock Samsung ROM with Magisk it will lag your phone!
check my thread and you don't need to flash no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx.zip

No. Im not planing to use samsung stock. Im waiting official LOS for our device. So i need it to flash rom and after to use it on LOS. So there should be no lag or problems with this TWRP on LOS?

Disagree - It does NOT lag the phone. Never has done with mine...not with stock firmware or LOS and it's variants.

Your TWRP is not working without "no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx.zip". Iflashed it through odin. Made backup and now im stuck with samsung logo. Just so i can use Lineage OS. Thank you.

I've read it
got in TWRP once but did not work properly
then I restarted the device and TRWP disappeared
