Modified PARAM partition, in which the bootlogo and other images exist. It simply acts as a image cache for bootloader.
I've been doing this mod for several samsung phones over the years and now when I got the A3 I wanted to try it out again.
I also attached a zip with the original logo since this partition is not included in the stock rom packages from samsung.
Here's a View attachment SM-A310F-PARAM.tar.zip in case something goes wrong when you try to make your own logo. You will probably only be able to reach download mode.
Or if you just want to get back to stock boot logo.
Unzip and flash the SM-A310F-PARAM.tar.md5 with Odin.
SM-A310F ONLYTested and working.
Flash in TWRP, reboot, and see the change.

I have a problem...
I took the Googlemod and created my own logo and inserted into the bin file. Now I have only a black image and the phone does not start anymore.
A stock-stream flashing does not improve.
I also can not get into the recovery, only in the download mode.
Can someone help me?

That's strange.. but it does pass the md5 check?
What odin version do you use?
Did you double check the file you made, so that it wasn't bigger than original param?
I am using ODIN 3.12.3!
Do I have to load only the md5 file or the logo file in the same directory?

Only md5 file. It contains the original param.bin.
No other files needed because the logos is already inside param.
Try with Odin 3.10.7
This can not be the md5 file you uploaded is only 231 bytes big!
Please check your file please

This is a port of the black multirom theme by z31s1g.
It was ported by me from the N4 multirom version with the help of z31s1g.
In this thread you'll find not only the black multirom version but also a link to all the other non-multirom versions original by z31s1g.
About Theme
Recovery gone App.
This is a heavily modified version of the theme by thecoby.
Simple and intuitive.
Port the theme as much as you like.
You use this theme at your own risk.
Compatibility
Theme will work on any device with a resolution of 720x1280.
MultiROM theme requires MultiROM recovery.
How to use:
Download the theme of your choice and rename it to "ui.zip".
On SD card open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme", without capital letters.
Copy ui.zip to theme folder.
Restart to recovery.
HOW TO USE AROMA FM:
[*]Download this flashable zip.
[*]Flash the zip in recovery.
It will copy the flashable Aroma FM package to \TWRP\aromafm.
[*]Go to "settings" and tick the option to use Aroma FM.

Hi @remorema,
The file 'ui.zip' you provided, is it flashable to themed the multirom twrp ?
Because I cant delete previous 'ui.zip' which was messing up my TWRP before this. Root Explorer keep saying 'delete failed' even it already granted by SU.
If i just flash the fresh TWRP, it will be themed directly by the messed up previous ui.zip as soon as I boot to recovery.
I've searched and tried every single solutions provided by Bro Google but still could'nt get rid of it.
Any idea how n why ?

Nop. The ui.zip has to be copied manually to /sdcard/TWRP/theme
Just delete the old file and copy the new one via recovery file manager.

/dev/block/platform/15570000.ufs/by-name/PARAM is a GNU tar archive, which contains the initial bootlogo image and we can safely modify those images
Here are some examples:
http://twitter.com/arter97_dev/status/628438547058421760
http://twitter.com/arter97_dev/status/648101018744455168
And here are some zip files for you to install via custom recovery:
http://www.arter97.com/browse/exynos7420/bootlogo
Backup is automatically created upon installation at /sdcard/PARAM.bak
There are one with my profile image, Galaxy S6 doge image and one explicit(hmm ) image.
/* Disclaimer */
Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this kernel
before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. Hard. A lot.
/* Installation */
1. Put the downloaded zip on your internal storage
2. Enter ClockworkMod(or PhilZ) recovery
3. Flash it
Backup is automatically created upon installation at /sdcard/PARAM.bak
/* Restoring backup */
1. Put the restore_backup.zip on your internal storage
2. Enter ClockworkMod(or PhilZ) recovery
3. Flash it
Have this as mine. Looks good enough.

I think it will work on many Samsung phones (maybe all) if the param partition is identified properly.

Ask someone with rooted n5 to provide n5 param partition dump.
I can also confirm for I9305 that the PARAM.tar output from '/dev/block/platform/dw_mmc/by-name/PARAM' contains a file called logo.jpg with the following properties:
720x1280
72 dpi vertical & horizontal resolution
24 bit depth
resolution unit 2
sRGB
And seemingly made with Adobe Photoshop CS4 Windows
And also for the I9300, the output from the same path as stated before, the logo.jpg has different properties:
720x1280
125 dpi vertical & horizontal rezolution
24 bit depth
2 resolution unit
sRGB
And again, made with Adobe Photoshop CS4 Windows
The image (Sorry for the size) is in the attachments.
Great! Worked thank you

flash the one for Greece , if you still have data traffic
what do you mean screen goes black ? after what ? boot ? did it showed the welcome screen ?
This rom will get your phone back up and running!!
!!WARNING!!
I'm not responsible or liable for anything that may happen to your phone if you download and install this firmware!
This is a WORK IN PROGRESS!!!
Please feel free to help me make this rom better!
P.S.
This is not a STOCK ROM I was lucky enough to build one from parts and pieces of other stock firmware's that are available for download. Only use this rom if you turned your SM-S920L into a $200.00 bookmark!. As of right now there is no Stock firmware for this device and lots of other straight talk phones also.
Get It Here!!
Little Different ROM???
Lame. I wouldn't donate for a stock rom even if it did exist.
***EDIT***
Ok, so I see you removed the donate link, but the google drive link is not currently working. Is this a custom rom? If so, I don't think I'd be willing to risk my phone without a working custom recovery to backup and restore my phone should something go wrong.
So, I am guessing this is the stock ROM?

There are tons of things to backup according to the app, do you know which ones you want?

The partitions needed would more than likely be from Normal Backup type, but he's asking for full or Force Raw Backup, in case of a wiped partition that would render a bootup impossible
Run a normal backup for now, just to get the OP's backup replaced so that a last resort ROM could work as daily driver :fingers-crossed:

Hi folks!
just wanted to share this little zip. I personally made it for S5 neo, but it will probably work on every device with Exynos7580 chip (assuming the param-partition is located in /dev/block/mmcblk0p9).
I adopted it from here.
so credits go out to @amtra.

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(S5neo-logo I adapted from the box)
Of course you can use your own design, just replace the logo.jpg in the zip with your very own logo.jpg
-DISCLAMER-
Dont blame me, if sth does not work as expected after flashing this zip.
Under certain circumstances this zip could potentially brick your phone.
So don't be a lazy ass and back-up your phone before flashing
How to use:
- reboot to recovery ..
- flash the zip ..
- reboot to system ..
- done.
Wiping is not necessary, because it only has effect on the bootlogo partition.
Any questions? Then post here, and I will try my best to help out.
Enjoy

Hi folks!
just wanted to share this little zip. I personally made it for S5 neo, but it will probably work on every device with Exynos7580 chip (assuming the param-partition is located in /dev/block/mmcblk0p9).
I adopted it from here.
so credits go out to @amtra.

hm, never experienced this..
are you using latest official twrp recovery from here? -> https://dl.twrp.me/s5neolte/
perhaps try it with v-3.1.1-2.. that was at least the version which i used. unfortunately i'm not owning s5neo anymore.
have you disabled zip sig verification in twrp? do you have g903f or g903w?
Also you can attach your recovery log after flashing..
or try to resign the zip..

That's the version i use too. Zip sig is disabled. I dont know how to attach log or resign zip. My device is g903f and i use custom rom zapryanov for nougat since there is only W version for s5 neo and in settings its shown as g903w idk if that matter since my device is still g903f
Works well on my Nougat S5 Neo G903F! Thx

U will have to follow dat corresponding error code
As far as it have been observed this method does not lead to such scenarios.
At most u will have to factory reset
Hi Subhraw
I always get the error "not a valid zip" every time I try to flash the file that I created. I followed the instructions. Any suggestions?
Can someone just upload the edited file please? Would be much easier.

I'm on custom rom, can i flash his?
i just want to install this rom because many custom roms require piefirmware. is this mandatory?
i use custom roms that requite pie by editing updater script is this safe?
and is there any connection with roms with official pie, because they require pie firmware.
