I`m almost sure that we will get it... octacore + 2gb ram... almost certain... but honestly i`m much more looking forward for a stock android version to our babies which I think its already on the way. some custom deodexed roms are welcome also... Emui free... even though i love emui it would be much lighter... thats my opinon...
Completely agree. Stock Android 5.1 without EMUI crap it's what I would like to have.

Got a rooted stock 5.1.1 with Xposed Nexus 6 right now.
I am wondering whether or not its worth it to install Android 6.0 because Xposed for Android 6.0 is out. Nothing that Android 6.0 offers is enticing to me.
Can anyone post a link to what google has done in terms of security for Android 6.0? There are 3 android 6.0 files right now in the firmware site.
Android 6.0 is so incremental that everything featurewise it offers can already be done with xposed or 3rd party apps. The only open question is security.
I really dont want to flash and lose my stuff to this. Battery life with my current setup is fine for me.
Battery life is a lot better as it goes into "Doze" mode when inactive. I'm sure there's more . It's also a bigger pain to root than before.
Okay some of you will have seen the meticulous made various builds, cyanogen 13, beanstalk 6.25 and lineage 14.1 for his p9 lite. The chipset is the Hi6250 exactly the same as the honor 5c. So these builds install and run just as well on either phone. Now my question is, could you install the latest p9 lite firmware(with emui 5 + nougat) on the 5c??? Obviously it won't be that simple and I guess you'll need to use his modified twrp recovery you flash it.
Does anyone know if this can be done and explain how??

Hell no.
It is different with the CM builds - they are written for Hi6250 and the Huawei/Honor originals are made strictly for a product. You can't even use Nem-22 on Nem-21 because of the basebands and stuff.
If you want Nougat use tread by Schizmatyk.

I wouldn't be surprised if they won't update to 7.1 and just wait til 8.0. by then Pixel 2 would be running 8.1.4 lol
from the leak info it looks like the note 8 will come out with 7.1.1. so it means we wont get it until after note 8 release. since samsung likes to keep their latest update for their new flagship devices.
Wich to me makes no sense at all...why not push the 7.1 to older phones to work out all the bugs for the newer device??

Definitely not, that requires a rooted fone first and foremost. If you're not a big fan of emui or harmony why get a Huawei device?

Because there is no competition for this phone (hardware wise) today. It seems to me to be the best phone to date.....and i could live with some software limitations. But I was hoping for an alternative rom :/
