well, i did not think something like this was possible...
I was on stock modded, and i wanted give to the AOSP rom a second chance, i flashed a wrong moto camera .zip (by mistake) from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-motorola-camera-5-0-7-1-material-t3007246 instead of one i have been using... and I did'nt note that was for 4.4 rom (i had it for my brother's phone) and then after been on the bootanimation for like 5 minutes the phone turned off and only booted to bootloader and recovery, i was not able to wipe/format data and cache (the phone rebooted everytime) so i had to do a factory reset and then flashed via fastboot the stock 5.1 again, then started to boot only to recovery, hit the factory button at the bootloader and booted but i left it for 30 mins and nothing happend, it stays at the bootanimation... checked the data partition and its at 0mb, same cache.. tryed CM, AOSP, Stock and nothing is working plz help
Sorry for my bad english
EDIT: i solved it... flahed stock twice and wait for like 5 minutes and booted, then rebooted twice and everything is normal now
plz delete the post.. thx

Hello everyone,
I just hardbricked my SGS+ and now I'm a bit curious how this could happen.
This is what I did:
I used to run CM9 RC5 from arco68 along with the Kernel for ICS from Christopher83 and CWM 6.0.1.2.
Because my phone always lost the wifi-connection and also had some freezes I decided to try out CM10 Beta 3 from ivendor.
I backuped my phone, downloaded the zips and even verified the MD5sums. Next I flashed CWM 6.0.1.9 as recommended in the thread from ivendor.
After exporting the nandroid backup and other stuff like photos to my computer I wiped everything as mentioned in the thread, flashed the two zips and rebooted. Everything went fine and I was almost ready with setting up my phone again when I got my first softreboot.
Suddenly it showed the CM-bootlogo and after maybe 10 seconds I was back on my homescreen. I got another two or three softreboots until I decided to flash the Kernel 3.x from CastagnaIT.
I rebooted into recovery, wiped cache and dalvik cache, flashed the zip and rebooted.
Now I wanted to reboot into recovery again to fix permissions but instead I got a softreboot and my phone stuck at the CM10 bootlogo.
I waited for around 5 minutes and then I just turned the phone off and booted into the recovery mode.
Because I wanted a clean install without any problems like softreboots I decided to wipe my phone again (data, cache, system) and just reflash the zip for CM10. And at this point everything went wrong.
I flashed CM10 but when I tried to flash gapps my phone just turned off. And no, the battery was not empty. In fact the battery was at around 50-60% and my phone was also connected to my computer.
I tried to turn on my phone but now it stuck at the Samsung bootlogo.
The next thing I did was probably a horrible mistake. I tried to un-brick my phone but I did not realize that I could boot into download mode without problems so I guess my phone wasn't softbricked at all.
Well, after that I still stuck at the Samsung bootlogo and couldn't enter recovery mode. I got into download mode somehow and maybe this was my second mistake. I tried to flash the "i9001Reset.zip" via Odin. Everything went fine but when Odin said "Close serial port and wait until rebooting" my phone was completely dead. I think it was while I tried to flash the reset-file when I got a message like "MBR: read failed". So somehow I managed to destroy my master boot record.
Now I can't turn on my phone or enter download nor recovery mode. I already removed the battery for about 45 minutes but this didn't work either.
My phone is dead but at least I saved the important data and maybe I'll get a new one through warranty. Or I just buy a Nexus 4.
My questions are:
What did I do wrong especially when I tried to save my phone?
How can I prevent such things from happening?
And at which point I should have got help here in the forum or elsewhere?
I would really appreciate some tips for the future because I already flashed and used a lot of different ROMs but this is the first time something really went wrong.
Thanks for reading and thanks for your help in advance.
(Please excuse my non-perfect englisch.)
Greetings,
Mangoniter

really need your help guys, does anyone has an idea?
Factory Reset.
Something went wrong with your backups.
already tried factory reset, same result
I had the same problem
Do you have CWM installed? If you do you could flash another rom, but before wipe data cache and the cache on the advanced settings, if not loot at this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2140491
Hello,
first i have to say that my english isn't great so forgive me for errors
Wel..
I have the S3 I9305 from Ocober 2012... The first time i flashed it i used something (don't remember what) for I9300 and had a lot of problems (lost imei ecc). I solved it thanks to this forum and now i hope i can do it again
I usually change rom every 2-3 week and no problems since now...
A week ago my Sentinel Rom started to be "Lagghi" so i downloadet Alliance RoM to test it ( i use TWrecovery). I followed the instructions..... I choosed Perseus Kernel and Alliance theme but it gave me standard theme and kernel.. Reflashed 2-3 times. I gave up and downloaded the latest Avatar RoM because is the one i used most.... I flashed it from ext. sd card (Wiping all from internal..cache, data, dalvik, system, internat) and reboot... all good.
The i went to Avatar Update in settings and looked for the last GAPPS...while seraching, it told me that CM UPDATER crashed...tryied again, same problem.
I reflashed it again and same problem..
at 02:00 AM i gave up and let the phone with 40% battery. At 11:00 AM it had 0... Charged it a little (i think 10%) and then tryed to boot.. Stuck at the logo of Avatar...
Then i tryied a few thing
- Firs, i charged it a little more and WIPED from recovery cahce and dalvik...it restarted but when i putted it to charge, the phone restarted and stucked to avatar logo again.
- Wiped again and reflashed Avatar (is the only one i have) from EX-SD...same problem.
- I charged the phone a little more, downloaded the latest Official Firmware of S3 I9305 and flashed it with odin ... same.
- i pulled out SIM , Ex-SD and battery while it was on samsung logo boot animation and came here
Hmm what else...in the last mounth the pone charged very slowly (if it can help)
Any suggestions?
In recovery format sdcard system cache data .
Boot to download mode install stock rom via Odin .
Boot loop then factory reset .
Fails then you need a service centre .
Have you tried restoring your backed up EFS folder??

If it does then it suggest the fault is the USB connection .
All good for now
Thanks
I hope i won't have problems when i'll flash custom roms again
So i wanted a new rom for the awesome features so after i had rooted and installed twrp custom recovery i downloaded cm12 then created a nandroid. I put my phone into recovery wiped everything except internal storage and installed cm12 and gapps. This is where my problems started, as much as i liked the new rom it wasnt connecting to my cellular network so i thought ok ill just recover my nandroid so i wiped everything except the internal storage and then started the recovery when it finished i rebooted and it goes to the warning bootloader unlocked screen and sits for about 15 seconds the goes black and repeats. My phone is a motorola moto x 2014 victara, any help is much appreciated.
Please give us more details:
1) can you access recovery? Try holding the "power" button for like 20 seconds and trying to reboot into recovery when the phone boots.
2) can you access fastboot mode on the phone? maybe you lost your custom recovery but can access the bootloader and that makes things easier.
3) what is your device number? (xt1097, xt1095, xt1092, etc)
You are going to want to factory reset. Most times coming from a customer rom to another or even back to stock you will need to do a factory reset in order to wipe out anything that may have been left over that could cause issues.
Hi, i got a xt1063 (LAT) to fix. The thing do not boot, just get in the bootlogo. Easy enough, so i flash stock from the region (TITAN_RETLA_5.0.2_LXB22.99-16.3_cid12_CFC). But still happens the same thing. Also tried to flash TWRP to flash CM or something like that. But it just don't install. What i'm doing wrong?.
PD: Sorry for my bad english.
PD2: I still can get to bootloader. Version 48.19 i think. (Was before i flash anything)
PD3: I'm wainting after flashing, maybe takes too long -.-
PD4: LOG for the install

Keep in mind that first boot usualy takes really longer, since it process DexToART.
Reflash it again, and when you reboot, see if the screen dim a little bit of the phone vibrate at any moment (1 ~ 2 minutes). If yes, it's just processing DexToART. If not, you're missing something that keeps you from booting.
In the worst case scenario you should unlock the bootloader, install TWRP and try the option "Repair" and select all partitions from the phone and later flash a ROM.
It vibrates, in the second it boots, i leave him "booting" like 1 hour and nothing happened. I can't install TWRP like i said in the OP. It just go to the stock recovery.
EDIT: I just make something, I use
mfastboot boot twrp.img
And works! Repair the partitions, i'm gonna try to flash some custom rom.
EDIT2: This is weird, i boot TWRP and the stuff is there is like i never flash anything. And i can't copy things in DATA. Maybe a filesystem problem?
EDIT3: I can wipe everythign except for Internal Storage.
EDIT4: Found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/help/factory-reset-t3075587
I think the phone is dead.
