Can someone please upload the Verizon upgrade Assistant from their S6 Edge. I may be able to fix this soft brick with it since it won't connect to SmartSwitch at all. Tried different cables, and different PCs with different OS's it always says Unsupported Device no matter the combo! I began experiencing the infinite bootloop after using Odin to install 5.1.1 OG5 tar from http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s6-edge/general/of1-odin-g925v-tars-t3191419. The process completes successfully but my device will not get pass the S6 Edge boot screen, even after multiple wipes! If someone can upload the install files from their Verizon Edge I would be internally grateful!

I'm trying to use Odin to Fix my soft bricked i537 AT&T version, however I can't find the stock firmware for the S4 active anywhere. Can you please send me a link if you have one. And how did you solve the problem. I'm not sure using Odin will even solve my problem, however it seems similar to yours. Thanks in advance.

It seems bricking your phone is a common samsung thing. Look at this thread I have laid out how to fix it----->>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2768220
Get my upgraded ota here --->>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2722073&page=24
Follow instructions carefully and be patient.
While trying to root the phone using the CM-AutoRoot method (TowelRoot doesn't work on Exynos devices) the firmware flash failed. I am now stuck on a screen saying "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again."
Since I haven't made any previous modifications to the phone, I figured I could just recover it through Kies, but the problem is that it is an international exynos-equipped GS5 (being an SM-G900H model) and I have tried both the U.S. and Australian versions of Kies and neither have been able to recover the phone. Hoping someone can help me out.
Yesterday my phone ran out of battery, I went to plug it in to recharge and noticed my phone does not boot completely, it gets stuck at the AT&T logo. I went to the boot menu and noticed I have the dm-verity verification failed issue, does anyone have instructions to fix this I can follow. My phone is a samsung s6 edge LRX22G.G925AUCU1AOCE. I have odin v3.07 and I believe I found the AP, BL, CP, and CSC_ATT files for my phone as it matches the G925AUCU1AOCE. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could fix friend?
Haven't tried, I was wondering if anyone had directions to fix this issue. I've done some research, hence the files I've already obtained. I'm not too worried about fixing it anymore, because I went through my insurance and they actually upgraded me for no cost to the s7 edge. I mainly wanted to get to the files, but no dice. I tried wired, wireless, and even smart connect in numerous ways. I guess it's a lesson learned on my part. If you have the same model as mine with the same issue all I could do is share the files I have.
I have done quite a lot of searching and it appears that what I am trying to accomplish should be possbile but I have had no luck.
I am trying to move an SM-N960U from AT&T over to Verizon using my Verizon SIM. As far as I can tell this model is compatible on both networks, but if someone could clarify why I am having issues, I would be grateful. Here is what I have going so far:
The SM-N960U is unlocked. I can confirm this on the AT&T site as well the phone as the unlocked animation plays every time.
When I insert the Verizon SIM (which is the correct SIM format, brand new even), the phone sees the number but will not connect to the Verizon network for data/calling
I have Odined the latest stock official Verizon ROM onto the phone, but this changes nothing for some reason. The AT&T software still persists after I install all of updated Verizon files through Odin (The AP, BL, CP, userdata etc). The install is always a success, and shows the loading bar etc, but nothing changes. It's as if nothing is installed.
I have used both regular Odin and the custom 3B Odin
I have factory reset the phone after the install as well, but the AT&T ROM remains.
I am out of ideas on how to get the phone to work on Verizon. Does anyone have an other ideas or see something I missed? Or is it just not possible?
thanks for any help
I'm not at all experienced with Android or mobile devices in general, and I have an old T813 WiFi (2016) that I needed to root.
I flashed twrp-3.5.0_9-0-gts210vewifi and that worked fine. Except, TWRP couldn't see the download directory where I dropped the magisk zip. I didn't seem to see any internal storage besides the root FS (tab has 60 gig and no sd card).
So on the advice of the internet, I used TWRP to wipe and reformat, resulting in not being able to boot. It gets stuck at the pulsing Samsung logo forever.
I did a factory reset with TWRP and no change.
I then tried to flash stock 6.x firmware using Odin but it failed with an Auth error, I believe due to the device not permitting "downrgades".
So then I used Odin to flash the closest thing to a stock 7.0 ROM that I could find, which was T813XXS2BSJ3_T813XAR2BSA2_XAR from www.sammobile.com. That flashed successfully, the tab rebooted to the stock recovery and loaded the new image, but on the next reboot we were back to same old pulsing Samsung. I left it for a couple of hours, then tried rebooting again, but no change.
I hope it's just that that firmware was for the cell version of the tab, an. d I need the WiFi version. If anyone knows where I can find the right 7.0 firmware for the SM-T813 (2016) it would be greatly appreciated.
I would also welcome any other advice for dealing with this thing.
I'm from the US, and I still have boxes for 3 of my 4 T813s. The part numbers all end in XAR. That being said I went through my filers, and the last ODIN file I used was a XAC file. Looking at Sammobile, just looks like XAC is Canada, XAR is celluar south.
I'm assuming if TWRP couldn't see the directory, you had an encryption issue.
I know I'm still running Akipe's beta TWRP, found in this post. I know it's an "older" version, but I've never upgraded as it had a bunch of fixes that the official one didn't have. Not sure if that ever got corrected or not at this point. That's a question I will ask actually.
OhioYJ,
I have the WiFi version, so it has no sim and no LTE radio, I assume. I'm pretty sure the XAR file is for cellular tabs. I did try it, and it did flash OK via Odin, but it wouldn't boot.
I couldn't find the stock 7.0 version for WiFi anywhere, so I ended up flashing Lineage instead. The tab works now, rooted, so all is well.
I also used the modified TWRP version linked on the Lineage site, which allows MTP in recovery mode so I could dump files where TWRP could find them.
I do wish I could find the stock ROM for the WiFi tab, just in case.

All the T813s in my house are wifi too, no LTE. Those boxes end in XAR, it's like that even on my newer Tab S5e. So I don't think cellular south necessarily refers to LTE. That being said, the one I have saved on my PC is XAC (Canada), and there are still plenty of XAC firmware files that site.
Either way glad you got it working.
