Not booting flashing gapps - Moto X Q&A

I've solved the problem when boot direct to recovery but now when I try to flash a custom ROM with gapps the phone turns on and after the bootanimation like 10s at the setup wizard it just reboots itself and keeps doing that... I've tried tk gapps(9-27 and 9-13) and open gapps 9-29... If I flash only the ROM and SuperSU it does boot and works great... I don't know what else to try

This may be insulting but you're not flashing a stock based rom are you? Gapps are only necessary if flashing an AOSP rom like CM or it's derivatives.

Is not insulting, you just want to know what I'm doing. Don't worry... And no, the stock boots normally and tried AOSP, CM and Nexus experience and all of them booted without gapps but then with gapps is the same, 10s on lockscreen or setup wizard and reboot
Tried TWRP 2.8.6.0 and 2.8.7.0 and philz touch too

i found out that my phone does not boot with full or stock gapps package and it does with mini one... how is this even possible if i have been flashing stock since cm11 ?
it has to be something with one of these

[Q] Official Cyamogenmod 12.1 Bootlop

Hey everyone,
I found an Official update for my device from CyanogenMod Download Site.
I search any forum if available here about this ROM, unfortunately i cannot be able to find any form related to this ROM. Then i download 5.1 Gapps and download the ROM CyanogenMod 12.1. i wipe dalvik , userdata , cache and system. then flash both of the zip files ive downloaded. As i was using 12.0 Cyanogen i dont think i need to flash Cyanogen snapshot as it require for 12.0 to solve the BootLop. After flashing my phone is stuck on the booting animation since 20-25mins then i force reboot my phone into Recovery then i flash the SNAPSHOT and then reboot for once it works fine for me, then i just flash 12.1 and L gapps on the phone and then reboot, unforunately im facing the same problem from last hour. I dont know how to make 12.2 Cyan to work on my phone wihtout bootlop.
If anyone knows how to remove the bootlop then please let me know, thanks

Hmmm...I was on CM12 and wiped everything (cache, dalvik cache, system, data) so I clean flashed CM12.1 and GApps 5.1, after 2-3 mins it booted ok. So I guess flashing CM11 first is not needed. Just try again idk...:/

Samsung i9305 stuck at boot logo

Comming from stock ROM every new ROM I'm trying to flash just hangs on a boot logo (animation) of CM for example. Phone was wiped fully several times using TWRP and Cyanogenmod Recovery (/system, /data, /cache, /dalvik-cache).
Any help, please?
what version of twrp are you using? i've had the same issue with twrp 2.8.7.0. It seems to be buggy.
Try another version. 2.8.5.0 works fine for me.
// you might need to / want to / have to restore your phone to stock rom AND recovery first.
Agree with the possibility of TWRP problem. There is a version 3 out now which might work but 2.8.5 is definitely OK. Philz recovery should also work.Make sure these are the correct versions for phone.HTH.
Flash recovery via Odin. Firstly make sure you are using recovery made for our phone. To be honest, I prefer TWRP, and I am using 2.8.5 as I remember. Also, which roms you tried ? I had CM 12.1 and CM 13, and they worked totally fine, but I just loved more stock 4.4.4 so I downgraded.

i8190 installing / deinstalling gapps crashes phone -needs complete reflash with odin

Hey,
I am trying to flash a ROM on my i8190. I tried the novefusion-roms as well as the stock rom. However if I flash the Gapps in the first cast the found crashes after the first boot during the optimizing apps steps. If I use the stock rom (rooted) and remove some Gapps (like Kiosk), the phone also crashes. Here's what I mean by crash: The phone turns off, turn on shows the boot logo, turns off and so on. Only after flashing the PARAM and re-partitioning the phone I get some life back into it (however senseless since I can't use the Gapps).
Any ideas are appreciated,

I assume you already tried different Gapps packages, also the littlest one available only with Play Store functionality (Pico package) ? Did you try to wipe /system via recovery and then flash ROM and Gapps? Greetings

You are correct. I tried the nano and the pico package. I did flash the ROMs via ODIN (since they would not even flash correctly with TWRP). However I did not wipe /system beforehand (since I assumed that this is a clean install). I might try this in addition to propably switching to CWM.
Thanks for you reply,

[HELP] XIAOMI REDMI 4X FAILED INSTALL CUSTOM ROM (ALWAYS REBOOTING AFTER FEW SECONDS)
It's a Bug. Maybe Some says Die to low network device reboot. Do Check PE, AEX official ROMs as they have Official Kernel source in someways.. maybe it will fix your issue. Or try Flashing A ROM then any Kernel which is using Official kernel sources(like Clarity kernel)

[Q] Issue Flasing Gapps

So I just flashed the LG G6 Port rom, and it worked fine. Booted into the phone to check and it worked so I booted back into TWRP to flash Gapps. I got the Full Gapps for Android 7.0 as that is what the software version is listed as in Device info on my phone. Downloaded them from the Open Gapp Project Website. For some reason it keeps failing to flash properly tho. I tried version 7.1 too just for the hell of it and that didn't work either.
I've never had an issue flashing Gapps before and I've been flashing them for years. So I have no idea what could be causing the issue so I was hoping one of you al might have the solution to my problem.
So yea HELP PLEASE !!! LOL
When you flashed gapps did you be sure to wipe the cache? I think you should always do that if you flash something after first boot
