Can anyone recommend a good slim flip case? I saw this two in ebay. But i dont know which one to choose.

I'm in the same boat. I think I prefer the Nillkin Flip myself as I like the credit card slot on the inside of the cover. Plus, my thinking is that having that extra card slot will have to ensure that when it's closed it doesn't sit right on top of the home button causing it to depress while in your pocket.
Of course, you can always go with the genuine Samsung flip case. I believe it's still available directly from Samsung for about $20 plus s/h with the 50% coupon being offered.
Has anyone bought one of the Dot View cases on Ebay for 19.99-29.99 from China,Hong-Kong, Singapore, etc? Are these fake? Is there any reason that would lead you to believe that they're not genuine?
Of course they are fake...thats why they are so cheap. Usually they have no htc logo and are made of cheaper materials. Some people have posted that the knock offs aren't too bad. There is another thread already going on this topic in this forum.

I ordered one from amazon for $9.94 with free shipping.... Of course the expected delivery date is September 27 but whatever. I think the DOT View case is a neat gimmick but it certainly didn't seem worth the $40-$50 price tag so when I saw one for less than $10 I was intrigued enough to try it out.

I got one and it's nice. I like it better than the OEM version because there is a bit of a hinge on the side so it lays more flat when flipped open. It also works well with my .33mm glass screen protector
Is there any Dot View case, genuine or not, which is clear on the back, so we can still show the beautiful metal chassis?

As above, looking for a leather pouch that is a good(not too tight) fit for the edge
Must either have a pull strap to get the phone out (and be a reasonably tight fit so it doesn't fall out)
or
Must be a sensible fit with a flip magnetic clip to hold the phone from falling out

Of if you just want premium leather pouch then go for a company like hard graft (but they are very expensive)

As a newbie I thought just post my successful wireless charging hack for my Galaxy S5 (900F). I used the Palm Pre (instead of the Pixi) and as so many have done with the GSIII and GSIV. Its an add on to the good work dev "rwilco12" posted at the end of last year (link below)
All done for under $15 (USD)

Did you use genuine cover ? looks like there isn't enough space under cover, so it isn`t fitted quite well. Can you add photos of the cover attached to the phone ?
Anyway, it is possible to find a lot qi coils very thin to fit genuine cover.

Yes, I used a genuine cover, but I did need to trim out the ridge that runs along the length of the battery (see Pic). I positioned the coil and the small metal disc's so the phone would rest on its tail and be flush with the touchstone. You'll notice from the pics that there are small rises on the back cover when attached, but the photos show them up much better than the naked eye, they're hardly perceivable (to the eye or touch) if you don't know what your looking for.
Also I can still get my Speigen slim armor case on easily and with a good fit. Unfortunately its a bit thick for the wireless charging to work.
I bought the Palm Pre back cover & the Palm Touchstone off ebay, there seem to be plenty of them offered. All up for under $15. Not sure if the waterproofing will still seal and I haven't tested the NFC
