Problem with CALLIGRAPHER on ALL Trinity ROMs?

Hi to all you Pros out there.
Have been on this Trinity Upgrading thread since Feb 1st when I got my new unit (Dopod D810).
What I can't figure out is this..
I CANNOT get Calligrapher to Stick as the Default Input Mode. When I select it under Input mode, it will just Jump back to Keyboard mode. Somehow it would not allow me to use Calligrapher as the Input Mode.
Just want to know it is the Trinity ROMs somehow (I been thru ALL the ROMs Shipped or Test) without being able to resolve this..
Anyone else got this same Conflict / Problem? Or is it maybe just my Unit with this Problem?

I have stopped using Calligrapher... it has these problems indeed, and it needs lots of memory, and not all programs work correctly with it anyway.
There doesn't seem to come any support from Phatware for this.

I have the same problem.
I unnistalled the SPB Weather and SPB Pocket Plus and now works fine... try to unnistall programs that uses the today screen

GPRS connection

I wonder if anyone can help?
I have recently got my self this wonderful phone (o2 Stellar) and i'm having an issue with GPRS making a connection when no applications that i can see are using it.
Is there anyway to see hidden tasks running in case there is a dodgey program on my phone or anyway to make any application wanting GPRS access to Ask for permission?

you might want to look for the taskmanager cab that is around. Use search and I'm sure it will be a breeze to find.

Windows Live Messenger on WM6?

Forgive me if this sounds stupid, believe I've done a lot of search before asking =/
anyway here it goes:
After flashing the ROM posted in the sticky "Herald MODDing for newbs" I can't find my MSN messenger anywhere. Now I can only use the web version! Where can I get it back? Is a .cab or something out there?
Oh, and, I can't figure out how to use touchflo as well. I tried wiping the screen from bottom to top a LOT times. Nothing happened. Everything else worked, tho, like picture viewer or finger-scrolling.

Here is a zip wich includes the Windows Live Messenger installation CAB file.
Just install it on your device and your done. The settings you need to work through are very easy.

Installation completed with no problem. But..
It doesn't matter whether I'm on wi-fi or GPRS, when I try to sign in it says "Windows Live was unable to establish an Internet Connection." and blah blah blah. Asking me to check my connection settings. Well, IE worked fine. I can surf. So what's going on?

never mind. I googled aggressively and found that it was an older version of software conflicting with Windows Live Mobile. It was called CE Star. The newest version does not have the connection problem.

I'm glad that you were able to resolve your issue with the Windows Live Mesanger but unfortunately im unable too. I am able to connect via WiFi but im not able to connect GPRS, are you able to connect w/o WiFi? If so, do you have a .cab file or a website that you can direct me too. Any help on this issue would be great. Thanx

After uninstall ce-star, I had same problem:
I setup both wi-fi and bluetooth dialup through my cellphone. Even when wi-fi is connected, windows live insist on dialing through bluetooth. And the worst of it, it will keep on dialing until soft reset and nothing else can stop it.
Any idea?

I don't know if you tried it already, but disabling the Diamond dialer and using the regular WM one works. Just my $0.02

Wow in fact it works pretty well -> and no issue with the touchscreen now (even if PhoneCanvas works well also on the HTC Diamond).
To disable the Diamond PhoneSkin, just install DiamondTweak and choose WM Dialer.

There is a software namely Advance Config Tool v3.3 and select phone skin tweak to enable WM skin and disable the default (i.e. Diamond skin). The ring delay will be minimize to around 2 rings to hear from the Diamond and save around 8mb RAM. You may lose control of in-call volumn control, but there is another software namely Remove HTC Volumn may help to regain control of WM in-call volumn control. Bear in mind do not remove the temp file in this program file, or you may encounter problem in removing the software Remove HTC Volumn. You may also loss the bluetooth icon in the task bar. You may try Pocketshield which is a good software to protect your screen from accidental touch and it also provides the software Remove HTC Volumn and bring back the bluetooth icon in taskbar.

Below is the manual registry tweak:
-'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Security / Phone / Skin'
-change the value of 'Enabled' from 1 to 0.

first of all... thanks for all the cool apps and roms!!! im new to WM and just managed to get tons of cool apps and a brand new rom on my X1i
installed the xperience 2.2 rom and after some setting problem i have one major problem which i couldnt fix / find a solution....
like others i cant save my setting for the keylock "activate by ANY button". it just wont save my setting after even a soft reset
but now i installed tomtom navigator and i cant get a gps signal (yes i quick gps'ed" ...then i noticed that in my gps setting the hardware port is not assigned to any com port ... but when i assign it to e.g. com port 9 ... the setting is not saved...
thats a problem cuz otherwise i cant use my navigation software
any ideas, why the settings are not saved / not active
is there a way to "force" settings to be saved ?
