Hello
I live in Brazil and I have an AT&T xt1058 and received this device the update OTA. After downloading the update and attempt to install the system restarts without completing the process. I contacted AT&T and Motorola and reported that to realize update need to be in the AT&T network. Is there anything I can do to complete the update?
Device
Moto x xt1058
Android version: 4.4.4
System version: 212.44.26.ghost_att.ATT.en.US

I have a question:
my carrier is claro Colombia with android version 4.4.2, and I have open bootloader and I am root, my question is if I can pass from claro Colombia firmware 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 retail brasil firmware for without problems ??
My moto x is XT1058
If your bootloader is unlocked, there's no reason to worry about losing root. All you have to do is flash the latest su.zip file in recovery.

If you are talking about flashing a Claro Branded XT1058 running 4.4.2 with the rom from Brazil 4.4.4 rom for an XT1058, in theory, yes, it should be possible, especially since they are both XT1058 and you are bootloader unlocked.
Keep in mind, once on 4.4.4, you can NOT return to 4.4.2 safely. So if you run into issues, make sure you have the Claro XT1058 4.4.4 SBF to flash back to.
Hello All.
I recently picked up a Comsumer Cellular Moto G 2014 Model XT1064. I am currently trying to allow it to receive OTA updates or at the very least upgrade it to lollipop. I've followed this guide [here] and I have unlocked the bootloader, however I am having trouble getting my hands on proper links. I managed to 'downgrade' to 21.11.13.titan_retuaws.retuaws.en.US cc however I cannot flash any other roms. I tried flashing an XT1068 5.2 rom using fastboot however with the dual sim ROM, I got no service from my sim card.
Information and links seem to be scarce for this model so any finger in the right direction would be appreciated.
Thanks!
You can forget OTA since Consumer Cellular will not push out OTA's. I personally am going to hold at 5.01 since Motorola is close to pushing out 5.1 which is supposed to fix a few things. I flashed my CC Moto with TWRP straight to 5.01 from 4.4.4 with the Titan Rom located in the General forum.

I have a Verizon Motorola X Developer Edition (XT1060) phone that I'm now using on AT&T's GoPhone (prepaid) service. What I want to know is if there is a way to flash the firmware for the AT&T version of Moto X onto my phone. I really want to get rid of the Verizon apps on this phone and put AT&T's programs on it but my Verizon apps are causing me problems doing so. I thought that if I could flash the AT&T's version of the ROM software for my phone maybe I can get rid of the Verizon apps.
Build Number on Phone: KXA21.12-L1.26-3
System Version: 212.166.3.ghost_verizon.Verizon.en.US
Baseband version: MSM8960PRO_BP_2323.038.123.00R
Turns out that I could flash it over to AT&T with no problem. Just downloaded the 4.4.4 AT&T version and flashed it to my phone using RSD Lite. It went through with no problems and I am able to make and receive calls on it. Data and text messages are doing just fine on it too. A lot better than it was before.
Thank you in advance.

As the title states, I'm stuck on jelly bean. I bought this moto X from ebay to be used in my country (Dominica) the model in question is a Moto X XT1053 unlocked for outside gsm carriers. When I try to update through About phone-->System updates i get this message "Check for update was not available at this time" "Try again later". I tried flashing a kitkat 4.4.2 ota from the stock recovery but i got an error during the unpacking of the zip file. I seem to have a very wierd System verion (139.7.20.ghost_tmo.T-Mobile.en.US). I searched everywhere and i can't seem to find anyone with this system verison, i believe this might be the reason why I can't seem to update my OS. Hope you guy could help me out here please.
I have the same issue. My brother bought a Moto X off of Swappa and has the weird system version 139.7.20.ghost_tmo.T-Mobile.en.US. How can I update this to 4.4.4?
My question is this, my phone is a Moto G 2014 XT1063 you install by backup upgrade to 6.0 for the model XT1068 all is well and my bootloader is in (48.82), now that is coming via OTA Update for the XT1063 US I wanted to return to the stock ROM to receive the OTA, which firmware should I download if I have no problem returning to 5.0.2 using the script of "Alkalinorap"
Thank you
Note: I do not want to leave my Moto useless
