Hi everyone,
I use rom 5.1.1 for Z1 C6903 to upgrade my phone (Z1 AU SOL23).
In previous time I used flashtool 0.9.18.4 to flash rom 5.0.2 C6903 (I ticked at Exclude Partition and Baseband). And everything is ok.
But at this time I used flashtool 0.9.19.8 to flash rom 5.1.1 C6903. In this version of flashtool have no BASEBAND option and I can only tick at PARTITION. And now I can't receive incomming call. Outgoing calls and receive SMS is ok.
And I tried to flash to original firmware 4.2.2 (SOL23_KDDI JP_1275-6766_14.3.C.0.239_R21C). My phone say "No SIM card could be recognized and the phone can only be used offline, with Wi-Fi, and for emegency calls"
I continue to try to flash C6903 5.1.1 firmware by flashtool 0.9.18.4, I ticked at Exclude PARTITION AND BASEBAND but the Baseband still be upgraded to newer version and the phone recognize simcard but can't receive calls
Formely when I tick at Eclude BASEBAND and it keep old version of original firmware and I can receive incomming calls.
There a way to get rid of "No SIM card couldbe recognized"?
I've just found the solution, that I go to Setting => More => Mobile Networks => Network Mode => And select Overseas Auto. Then the phone recognize my simcard immediately. And I flash one more time 5.1.1 International firmware. Now all things work like charm

Hi, Ive got xperia from vodafone australia.
When I first started my phone I upgraded it to 253 straight away. Everything was working fine, but needed root.
First I tried to open the bootloader following instructions from sony but something went wrong(bootloop) so I used the SUS for the recovery. Worked fine, and when the phone was starting for the first time it went through some network configuration.
Then I downgraded it to 434 with unbranded australian rom. Upgraded to 10.3.A.0.423, unlocked bootloader, rooted, everything was looking fine. But today in the morning I tried to use my phone and it says "network unavailable" when i try calling or that "the message couldnt be sent" when trying to text. I locked bootloader, flashed with sus, then flashed the same unbranded rom and still the same!
Emergency calls are working. Reception is full but it doesnt display "H"(wifi is off).
Is there any way to run the network configuration like it was after restoring though SUS? After flashing another roms there wasnt this kind of thing..
Anyone could help?
I flashed another rom, 10.3.A.0.432 from spain and my data connection started working(yes, im sure that wifi is off). But still I cant make a voice calll. During the basic configuration it asked me about my network and if I want to download internet settings. Is that possible that I need specific settings for Vodafone?
When I tried calling my number from another phone it just says "call ended" instead of connecting to the voicemail.
Anyone?
Try another SIM card.
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
I'tried another vodafone card, was the same. Tomorrow I will try to get card from another network but it's a bit doggy, that I got data connection but no voice calls/texts. Remember that long time ago on wm I similar problem but there I was helpful the reinstall radio and run connection settings. Is there anything like radio drivers for xperia?
on android the radio is the baseband, have you called your provider to see if there are any issues with them or your account?
What do you have in APN in your phone?
Check it in Settings => Wireless & Network => More...=> Mobile Networks => Access Point Names
If you have no APN don't search further, this is your problem, you need to fill the APN with your operator informations.
I've had exactly the same problem after réinstalling the phone with PC compagnion.
Hi sir, I need your help.
this problem I guess starting when I tried to change my network mode through xposed (FYI: in my country ID doesn't fully support LTE yet, but I try enable all network type) then my phone automatically set to LTE mode and suddenly got turn off when I unlock screen. at the moment I realize that my C6602 isn't LTE
FYI I tried to solve it, here is I've tried:
-Flash stock FTF
-Restore NANDROID but failed (CWM error while restore /system, I've regenerating md5 and it's fine)
-Relock BL
-Remove SDCard
-Remove SIMCard
few main problems:
-when I discharging, sometimes it work normally (didn't turn off) except if I setting my clock time, open camera, and few apps it's suddenly turn off
-however if I tried turn on my phone, it's stuck at sony logo then turn off again and I can't turn it on except if my phone charging it's can boot perfectly
-when I succeed use my phone (with charging attached) then I check network mode there's LTE mode !! how can I fix this network mode? I desire like before (WCDMA preferred/GSM, there's no LTE mode)
so sorry if this thread similar with others but I'm already search and surfing any thread it no result

which country or carrier is the phone from? make sure you download and flash the appropriate ftf that is only for c6603. flash it with flashtool and it should boot up nicely. if you are having troubles on 4.3 ftf, then possbile try the lower version (4.2.2 or 4.1.2) and then connect it with pc suite and update from there

I'm looking for a solution to ultra frustrating problem I encountered after performing OTA lollipop upgrade from kitkat. My network coverage gone after lollipop upgrade, I can't make calls or send messages. While I played with settings i found that with in Preferred network type there are three options as below.
WCDMA Only
GSM only
WCDMA (preferred)/GSM {Default option}
It was set to 3rd option. When I changed to GSM only option my calls and sms started to work flawlessly but as you all aware Internet was on 2G(Edge). To get HSPA working as far as I know I have to use WCDMA in xperia phones (Not to be confused with CDMA). When ever I switch to WCDMA my coverage goes off.. I can't make calls. So i end up using the phone in GSM only mode and made a thread in official xperia site as below. I also tried repairing using PC companion and resetting the phone no avail.
http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z-ZL-ZR/xperia-zr-c5502-does-not-support-WCDMA-after-lollipop/td-p/1001920
As you can see one person with the ranking of moderator acknoledged the issue and suggested me to revert it back to Kit kat until the fix has been made. I tried flashing using flashtool still problem exist. Even in old kit kat firmware which i was using it for long time with out any issues. I think some thing has happend to my mobile after lollipop upgrade.
Yesterday I unlocked the boot loader and flashed Cynogenmod 11 as well.. Again same problem. WCDMA does not work thus no 3G. Now I'm using Sony official lollipop firmware by flashing via flashtool.. I ended up using my phone in GSM only mode (Edge).
Any suggestions? Ideas?
I would try downloading stock LP ftf file with XperiFirm, then using Flashtool and try flashing only baseband. Not sure if it would work if you install a KK baseband, i would stick only to LP files in the meantime.
There is also another option to force select the bands, just dial *#*#4636#*#*, go to "Phone Information", and on the preferred Network type, choose "WCDMA Preferred". Wait 5-10 minutes, it might take a while for the carrier to recapture phone signal.
If that doesn't work, you might want to check if somehow the bands were locked with the LP install. There is an excellent guide on how to unlock bands, i tried with my SO-04E (japanese C5503) and i was able to unlock some of them, as not all carriers on my country were recognizng HSPA, and were recognizing only EDGE.
I Have a Xperia Z1 C6903 run Lollipop 5.1
One day when i switched on the phone , the IMEI was NULL, the baseband was unknown and i was not getting signals from my network provider.
I flashed stock rom but it is still in the same condition
Ive tried many other methods but they also didnt work.
If anyone Knows a fix plz lemme know

Imei null , baseband unknown
My mobile was not switching on 3 weeks ago (this happened when my imei was null and baseband was unknown) , so i connected it to my pc and did something and my IMEI came back , baseband too came back everything was working fine.
But yesterday my mobile froze and it was completely not responding , it was not even switching off, so i pressed power and volume up button it switched off, but when i switched it on again, the imei & baseband was gone .
What to do now?

is your device switching to flashmode ?
if it goes in flash mode then follow this steps
download pc companion and install it,then open it and click on start in support zone section, then select repair my phone
Then select your device and download the original firmware, then after downloading the original files ....minimize pc companion and download flashtool from here dl-developer.sonymobile.com/tools/Flash_tool_for_Xperia_7.zip now install flashtool and drivers (drivers will be in flashtool folder in c drive) now open my computer and navigate to here C:\ProgramData\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\localstorage\13740270
now make a ftf file of this (how to make ftf file https://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-mini-pro/How-to-get-ftf-ROM-from-PC-companion-update/td-p/178996)
now flash that ftf in flashmode
if helped give a thanks

i reinstalled the correct firmware , but still
also , Everything was working fine , but one day the mobile froze and when i rebooted it, everything gone
Hi, I have xt1079 for about 6 months, and it works well, since the day I used it in low coverage area,
it has Mokee 5.1 build and works in LTE network. And I take the 2nd sim card off while the phone was working, and after that the phone cant recognize the 2nd sim card at all, after a half of hour the 1st sim card lost too.
After rebooting the phone show phone app error...as I can see, in settings menu IMEI information became "unknown".
I wiped the phone and try to reflash the same firmware, but the result was the same. I tried 6.1 firmware, and the IMEI information came back and the phone works , but only in 2g. I mean I set the LTE/ 3G/2G, but it always in 2g network.
If I install LTE only or 3g only - no signal.
If I flash the phone back to any 5.1 ROM it's loose sim cards.
What would you recomend? Flash stock firmware?
I don't do it yet, what do I need to flash stock firmware?
Download the stock firmware for XT1079 and flash it from PC using fastboot. All the process & steps to flash are already available on XDA, just give it a search.
