TMobile G4-H811
Edit: The v2 will be replacing the original version as a completely unmodified Stock version. Sorry about the confusion. Pay no attention to the screenshot. This one is completely stock with the stock icons and status bar and all the LG stuff.
Okay So I am not going to make a fancy op. This will mostly be for developers and people who want a deodexed base. This is a deodexed system of app, priv-app, framework and libs. It does boot. SuperSU is included in the system apps, but as this is just raw files, it will not root your system. This is designed to be flashed over a current 10n installation and it WILL NOT work for other software versions. If you want to maintain a full rom, fine, I dont care. If you want to make it easy you are more than welcome to use this. This is NOT debloated, so do it on your own. I am just trying to make it easy for everyone. Seems everyone has hit a brick wall with this phone, and my rom is going to take a while before I release it, So I thought I would spark some creativity and give you guys a jump start :good:
I will not be answering many questions about this. Use it at your own risk. Flash in TWRP recovery. Flashfire is NOT RECOMMENDED. If you look at the updater script you will see why. TWRP ONLY
First Boot will take a while. I tested this at least 10 times on my own phone and it seems to want to skip the boot animation so dont freak out. Give it a good 10 minuted before attempting anything drastic like a battery pull.
I only have 2 requests to use this. One of them is a must. The second one is a preference.
If you use this: Give proper credits in the OP and DO NOT ASK OR PM ME. Just do it!:good::highfive:
The Second one: Please dont use this to make zip roms of random copy and paste xposed roms. You can do that with an Odexed image. Seriously, I dont want to see this end up like a Samsung forum

If your current 10n installation is already rooted. This will not affect that. Thats why i included the app because most people are already rooted. Since this is basically a deodexed framework and app pack no data wipe is needed and none of your settings will be changed. Simply flash in TWRP.
If you are not already rooted simply flash a rooted image prior to this or flash the su zip from chainfire.

You're welcome bud.
I was hoping that releasing this and not just sitting on it would actually spark a little bit of development. I have a long way to go before mine is ready for release, however this might give some devs a break as I know that a bunch have run into issues deodexing and even making a flashable system unless its a direct copy of their image.
Nice AOSP icons and mods. I like it! Can't wait for your rom. Thanks again.

Seems to have fixed WiFi calling issues but the smart notice weather widget appears to be broken. Just time and stagnant welcome to smart notice. I tried clearing chance, reinstalling weather and weather theme, no luck. Any ideas? Besides new weather widget lol unless I absolutely have to.

I got it working by installing the lg weather service apk from another thread. I simply opened the zip and installed the app using the package installer.

Flashing this causes a bootloop because you're force-deleting dalvik-cache in your updater-script. The phone will recompile the APKs on its own on first boot, so that line is unnecessary.
Also, can we have a completely unmodified version? I appreciate the SystemUI modifications, but I like my clock on the right, my navbar bigger, and the other LG stuff stock. Thank you!

It is unmodified, unless somehow I got the wrong UI in the zip which I dont think that I did. And it doesn't cause a bootloop. I force clear dalvik because as I seem to be the only one who has been able to get a deodexed system going on ANY of the G4's, I found that it was necessary to delete recursively because I found there was some left overs if you let the system do it for you. You are free to experiment with it though.
I installed this and booted fine. I had WiFi calling of course. I then installed Xposed 74 and I booted fine and still had WiFi calling. I made a call to test WiFi calling and it works.
I loaded a few modules in Xposed and bootlooped once I enabled them. Turned out that not Xinstaller but Network Speed Indicator was the culprit. I removed Network Speed Indicator module and I'm fine. I tested this with Xposed 74 and then 75.
This ROM gives me WiFi calling with Xposed version 74 and version 75. I go on and off my WiFi network and WiFi calling gets enabled while I'm on my network as it should. I've made several calls with Xposed 74 and 75 and WiFi calling works fine.
I am now using Xposed 75 and I have a few modules enabled. This rom works great!
I have WiFi calling, modules enabled in Xposed 75, a cool AOSP look and I'm happy. I am using this as my daily driver now.

Hmm, maybe there's something wrong with my phone, then. Clearing dalvik even from TWRP made it bootloop. I'll investigate, thanks for the info.
As for the SystemUI modifications, after I flashed the ZIP, suddenly my clock was in the center of the status bar, my Quick Settings toggles started looking very AOSP, same for the On/Off switch toggles in the Settings app, overall the phone started looking AOSPified in random places... could you check if the SystemUI in the ZIP is the correct one? I appreciate it and thank you for posting this!

When you say that you are bootlooping... Explain further please. Were you able to get a log? Was it on the boot animation? The white TMobile screen NOT the LG splash screen.
If it is sitting on the LG screen you should be fine. As I said in the op this seems to want to skip the TMobile boot animation for some reason. I am still trying to figure that one out. It will appear to have stalled on the LG splash screen, but its okay.
Also like I said in the OP... There is NO need to wipe ANYTHING with this. All you need to do is flash it over the top of a current working 10n rom. That is all. It shouldnt bootloop. You dont need to do anything else. Just flash.
LOL
"It started looking very AOSPified in random places."
Yeah... I will look at it. I may have inadvertently got the wrong UI in there. Sorry buddy. My system is a mess right now.

Hi all
I made my first rom for android ever ( earlier I was cooking for windows mobile )
At the moment looks like stock rom but is faster and I removed some unnecessary apps.
This is a first version and in the future I change more things.
FEATURES ROM :
- zipaligned
- deodexed
- rooted
- ini.d support
- KNOX free
https://mega.co.nz/#!ZxIzBRII!dFDgaXcgBlx800H8ugxbdoMlWo0Mk9GflDksHUf8e-c
ENJOY.
Well done , hopefully this will gain some traction , look forward to loading it, I have been patiently waiting for someone to push an 8010 kitkat rooted rom
Many thanks
Will give it a try when I´m back from my holdiays.
I was able to get it to boot on my n8013, but the WiFi didn't work until I flashed the n8000 leaked boot-loader. I will test it out throughout the day and let you know if I run into any issues.
The rom is designated for n8010 but you can try ☺on n8013.

So far this ROM runs very smooth with no crashes. With Gnabo ROM, the battery level went quickly throughout the day on my n8013, but since this one is a n8010 base, it probably skips all the mobile network stuff in system, and the battery seems to be lasting a lot longer. Although I miss some of the tweaks Gnabo ROM had, I'm sure you have plans to possibly implement pie menu, the fancy app switcher, and a few others on down the road. Good job so far! Can't wait to see what tweaks you can make in coming versions.
Yes I have a plan to add it.
I have to decompile and rebuild a framework from this rom.
I'm not going to use ready old framework from leaked n8000 rom.
I'm was testing rom for few days and everything works great.
Today I'm starting implrmetation a pie feature and I don't know how long it takes.
For me, I have never used pie control so not sure it would be something I would use. I would really like to see air command implemented....
I have thought about trying to make a rom myself as there are not enough devs for our n8010's but wouldn't have a clue where to start lol.
Good luck and I'll follow this thread with hope......
If you need anyone to do any testing etc I'm willing to try.....
To tell you the truth to make a rom is easier than I thougt.
On WM was more difficult.
Still I have to learn how to implement features to framework...because I don't want copy features with old framework from leaked n8000 rom...I want to use new framework.
I had a lot problems with old framework ( from n8000 ) - was so slow for my n8010 and battery drain as well.
To open apps I had to wait a few seconds like hangouts ( even changing conversation in the hangout was taking a few seconds) on Internet browser was the same and other apps as well.
On new framework works really fast.
Just some new implementations and shoild be fine ☺

OP,
Thanks for this rom. I was searching for a deodexed stock rom.
Would you kindly share the apps you left out of this rom, and possibly put them in a flashable zip or just a zip to extract, provided the apps are deodexed?
Looking forward to flashing your rom.
Thank you for your work my friend. Can you specify more information about the rom please?

Thanks to TEAM CODEFIRE for the ability
To "BUMP" our boot.img's , kernels, and recovery.img's. Without "BUMP" we would still be on 4.2.2 to have cust. Recovery. Or on 4.4.2 and reflashing to stock every few days to keep going. Lmao and thanks to PLAYFULGOD for testing "BUMP" for us.
All I have done is replace the Meta-inf folder and "BUMPED" the boot.img and did a few things in the build.prop to get it to flash without errors, boot, and stay booted.
I've taken it ad far as my knowledge of android can get it. Feel free to chime in if you have a cure for whats not working.
I'm posting a link to the updated CM11 and the LOLLIPOP GAPPS I use to flash with it.
I am not responsible for what you do with this or your device. Nor did I build this CM11 I just modified it as much as I know how to get it to the point its at now.

****UPDATED CM11 Build 2014115****
******Whats Not Working?******
1. Camera (of course)
2. Absolutely no sound from anything or anywhere. Its so smooth you can't hear it vibrate but it does.
3. Phone - it opens, you can dial but when you hit send it freezes on the dialer screen then closes then about 5 secs later the call screen comes up then call ends. But it never really called. Can't receive calls either.
4. So far that's all I have found not working.
What is working
Everything else seems to be good to go.
It gets DATA --4G LTE, 3G, H+, and H.
You can send and receive SMS and MMS even pics
Email seems to work and any apks that communicate with data. Hangouts dialer does not.
Gallery works.
Screenshot works.
I used the LOLLIPOP ANDROID 5.0 GAPPS Cuz I like material feel. But I suggest 4.4 GAPPS and up.
WiFi works.
Tethering works great too. Streamed Xbox live all day on it.
I did not check Bluetooth let me know.

Edit: wow it installed without a device check? Cool, but not cool. Anyways it looks like a good build overall, just needs audio and then it could be a daily driver. I also suspect that the DSP is preventing calls.
Oh well cool. I didn't know for sure and with out testing I didn't want to say " it should " then get pages upon pages of people asking how to unbrick

I was looking at the G2 forums and its development and I thought it was declining. Then I had a look at the G flex and saw there's barely any. Good thing they have you, Matt!
works!
Sooo.. It Does Work.
It Failed The First Time I Tried. I Disabled Loki Support Then Flashed Again And It Did Work. Flash 5.0 Gapps & It Booted Fine.
Upon Booting I Kept Getting An FC . Something About "ACore" (Screen Shot Didn't Save idk)
Skipped Past Set Up Then Is Rebooted. Booted Up Again & It Did The Whole "Android Is Upgrading" Thing Then Rebooted Again & Seems Like Its Running Good Now.
On The About Phone It Does Show LG-D959 & Not What D950 Which Is What I'm Really Using.
Everything That Works And Doesn't Work Seems The Same On This D950 As The D959.
Any chance a Sprint version could appear?

You don't bump the zip. Before zipping you bump the kernel and boot.img.
Hi. I have a rooted (CF AutoRoot) SM-920T running Android 6 /Firmware EDP1 with TWRP.
I noticed there aren't a ton of Roms for EDP1, which of course makes sense at this time and stage of the game with the EDP1 release.
Is there any risk to downgrading my firmware to 5.11 and rooting again, TWRP again, and loading 5.11 roms onto my phone?
Is there any pros/cons Im missing here?
I am really wanting a ROM with good modification support, but will settle for the bloatware just being removed as I detest these kinds of things on my phone hogging memory etc.
Thank you everyone for a response to this question.

here is an awesome rom to run 5.1.1. its totally customizable and the dev @stangdriver44 is great at support. He has a tutorial in the thread on how to flash back to 5.1 from 6 there as well. By the way he is working on a MM build as well. Hope this helps, The 5.1.1 OZOP rom is the best rom by far for the S6 check it out

Here is my post with the confirmed working method I have used several times. Just make sure you have either a full rom zip or Nandroid to use immediately once you've odined the package I made.
Thank @BigDaddy38 for helping people out.
Bigdaddy, have you check my thread lately? OZOP MM is coming along nicely and is going to be off the hook with mods and OC controls right out of the gate!!! Just added my "Button remapping" control mods including volume music skip and all hardware buttons completely customizable to activate special feature like cyogenmod torch and screen recovering but native to making a shortcut to any app you choose! Just check it out. Way to much stuff already and don't want to go to far off topic in this gentleman's thread.
OP, if you have any questions either PM me or tag me in a quote so I get notified. It is a very easy process and if you have a nandroid only take about 2-3 minutes to be booted up and running in LP again.
Good luck and thanks
Ok, I guess let me simplfy the question.
Can i simply take the DOJC firmware package, flash it on my phone that currently has EPD1, upon completion, flash twrp and then flash a DOJC compliant rom, and then flash SU?
Thanks!

I would follow Stangdrivers guide he has actually done it more than once and was successful.
stangdriver44 for the win!
His post and suggestions were right on.
I downgraded form marshmallow to Lollipop with no issues.
Already had TWRP in stalled from previously and flashed a LP Rom.
Worked great!
Thanks so much!
Make sure you thank his post and mine lol for helping. Even though he did the work

So i was able to finally downgrade tro 5.1.1 using Stangdriver44 method. Thanks for your help! However, the problem still presist. The problem i have is posted here . I cleaned wiped, twrped my LP backup and i get an error "extractTarFork() process ended with ERROR=255" in the middle of recoverying the system. There appears to be a corrupt file or something. I can twrp another LP 5.1.1 custom rom, however, that mirror image issue wont resolve.
I was hoping if there is a way to create a logcat so I can get to the root of the issue. Thanks for your help.
Gents, my most sincere apologies for removing last custom rom so abruptly. Sometimes, engineers need to reset their creation. To clean and start over a new generation. Yes, I did it on purpose, so the true community rises and it shows their real face. They know.....
Now, that we know each other a little bit better, lol....., please allow me to introduce a custom rom far from stock and without boundaries. This rom belongs to the free domain, so you are free to change, vary or mutate this beast to any shape, form, symmetry or semblance.
Feel free to make suggestions, ask for ETA's, demands, etc..... all of these, will be taken care personally by me......
All clauses which have been excluded, shall be deemed included with the use of this custom rom.
Features:
- T-Mobile H811 20p LG4 based rom
- de-bloated
- optimized for speed
- plain vanilla core system. all other apps goes on you. like it should be

I don't join in too often as I am more of a power user, but the developing is beyond me. I have to say this version is smooth and fast. Loving it! Glad you're back!

Probably...but it might cause problems. It's best to kdz to 20p or 20q but you might want to hold off until Turbo releases a 20q rom so you don't have to update twice. As of now I don't think anyone's just flashed 20q over 20p but last time (20p over 20i) I think the radio was broken, so I personally wouldn't flash the ROM before updating via KDZ
One thing that always annoyed me about stock roms and the variations is that on the lockscreen, I can't mute the phone without logging in.
Turbo, is there a way to make that happen in this custom rom, so when I press volume down on the lockscreen, that it works so i can quickly mute my phone?

Glad you are back (again) Turbo lol but really, your rom always the top choice for me! Will wait for the 20q release tho... and will it be able to flash it with 20p?
BTW have anyone find out what's the different between 20p and 20q? Worth to do the whole KDZ and reinstall everything again?

Short update, the technical issues was a hardware problem between my mainboard and the back panel.
After paying a couple dollars I got it fixed.
Thank you to be back on Xda, we're looking forward for all your new Rom improvements.

Thank you Erick. Stay tuned. I've been busy lately, but it's coming .... As far as i know, it's just security updates. Even 20p core apps work fine on 20q. 20p can be upgraded to 20q without any issues.....
Rom it's taking some time because i like to create it from scratch......

This is not a full rom but a build.prop flashable zip to disable on screen nav in Z.A.D.Mix7 or HelsAx7.SubMix

1- Reboot to TWRP
2- Wipe Cache - Dalvik
NOTE: I do not recommend a dirty flash over Z.A.D.Mix7 or Stock.B29 but I believe it's possible. I always reformat /data myself as I use an external sd and this is my habit since it's about as clean as you can get with minimal risk
3- Flash the version you prefer
4- REBOOT & BE PATIENT First boot will take a few mins since it's DEODEX.
* Additional Info :
If the first boot takes an extreme amount of time (greater than 7 mins on Bootanimation), JUST REBOOT AGAIN by Press & Hold of Power and let the booting complete a second time.
This is not rooted! I leave that to you as this is supposed to be as lean as I can get it.

MM-6.0.1-F3: None
Notes:
I run this with f2fs on data and cache, so if you are having issues you *might* try changing the filesystems to f2fs in official TWRP 3.0.3 (I take NO responsibility and will not help you out if you did not use stable/official TWRP 3.0.3, don't be hasty and brick your device and don't try this if you are not willing to take the risk, personally I have not had issues on any rom including B29 stock but YMMV)
Finally once again THANKS to everyone in the community your support it's the icing on the cake!

Not OP but I have actually been doing this on every rom that I've done (whether it was stock or ZAD) via system app removers that require root. The decision is easy when you can replace Dolby with Viper4Android. I've actually had better sound quality using Viper than Dolby ever gave me. In fact, I went back to stock (pure stock, no root, etc) and the sound quality is poop.

I like my sound as unmangled as possible, Dolby is just an overhyped EQ IMHO. The framework is still in place for now. I've uploaded zip with the APKs from /system/vendor to androidfilehost. I can't guarantee they'll work without restoring to /system/vendor/app nor do I feel like testing so up to you guys to figure that out. If there is enough demand I'll consider building a flashable zip to restore but that would be after I remove the framework libraries.

Ah thank you I've been combining both but maybe I'm biased as these are the best speakers I've ever owned on a phone. I'm gonna see myself how that sounds removed.

I also use a do-it-all zip file that not only installs Viper but removes any possible conficts (MusicFX but since that is already removed), installs Busybox, and changes the SELinux mode.
