NEWBIE QUES: Unlocking ATT TILT

i have an atnt tilt and i am traveling abroad, and wish to unlock my phone so i can use it overseas.
i searched the forum and found two threads about unlocking,
(unlocking SIM -->)http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=361039

im not sure which won is the one i should use. help please.
*interestingly enough, when i had an htc 8528 i use to play around with it and add a new rom every month, and sadly enough, i forgot how to do any of that, ive actually regressed in my knowledge :'(

I saw this phone on a website
it is a bricked phone but with a reasonable price
the seller said that he flashed a wrong recovery and then when booting the device ,it stuck at this page
and i have few questions
1. is it real ?
2. it is possible to fix it?
3. i am living in HK , can i use it normally or i need to do something like sim unlock?
Since i use samsung devices these years and i am using galaxy nexus now, so i don't have any experience of htc's

it looks real
i think it is fixble
you just need to
flash the correct recovery
as for sim free
if the person who give it to you , dident did it , so yes you need to do sim free for it
just google ,you have all the information out there,it is real and it is fixble.

Can't unlock bootloader even the e-mail method doesn't work

i actually wanted to put a custom firmware on my Huawei P8 Lite.
I messaged huawei already and they won't give out a unlock code for the bootloader.
I already tried dc-unlocker but it didn't do anything.
I thought you could help me out.
Here is the mail:

One thing: DC unlocker
I gave 4 euros and it's done in seconds...

Got it last Friday. When you install it you may have to reboot at least one extra time if you're on Sprint. My phone acted as if it was deactivated after the first reboot. I also lost VoLTE. So far I haven't been able to find the setting to enable it.

No it's said bootloader unlock for me. it's said Allow bootloader to be unlocked ...
I had a a5 2017 last time and it was needed for custom rom and recoveries so why not there ?
Does your have also that ? I know the axon m is probably not able to anything with it. But does the china and russia version are the same ?

Well just got mine and yes in developer mode it gives a button to unlock bootloader. Enabled it and says devices protections will not be usable when this option is chosen.

Mine shows the same thing. Does it actually do anything/let something like Kingo root it?
