Hi guys! Followed the simple guide of flashing a miui rom>
Install:
-1. Put MI-ustone-UIVxx.zip on Internal or External Storage
-2. Goto Recovery and Install MI-ustone-UIxx.zip
-3. Reboot to Recovery
-4. Goto Wipe Menu->Advanced Wipe and Check everything except USB OTG and SD (or what you want;- )
-5. Install again MI-ustone-UIxx.zip
-6. Wipe Cache/Dalvik after successfully install
-7. Reboot & Enjoy!
(Give it time to boot !)
I have rooted phone, places zip on internal. Installed the bootmanager that you install with a .apk file...XZ recovery? In that app I chose boot into recovery and worked. I then Installed zip file. Wiped some stuff and then wiped cache&dalvik. I went back to menu and tried to install zip again but did nothing. I then pressed BOOT and BOOT TO RECOVERY. After this I am experiencing black screen and bootloop. I press volume- volume+ and power etc but just get vibration on phone and nothing else.
What to do now?
Update: Trying to flash recovery with fastboot but getting error:
FAILED remote: command not allowed
Update: Downloaded stock 244 rom and flashed it and now phone is back to normal but no root So what was wrong?
It all started when i downloaded the king cobra xl rom 9, after installing the rom i realized my ext sd partition had been redused from 8gb to 236kb. iwent to recovery and tried re flashing it but it told me mt sd card cannot be mounted...so i used fastboot to install the boot.img file from a rom jellybeer 4.somthn rom because that was the only .img file in the rom...so i restarted my phone after installationbut nothing shows just a black screen...i have tried re installing the recovery.img file still doesnt work...PLS HELP ME:crying: PLEASE

hey!
Download CyanogenMod 10.1. then download this recovery CWM
when downloaded copy it to your ADB+FASTBOOT location and make sure your device is in FASTBOOT USB mode. then open CMD window there and type fastboot flash recovery recovery(press tab to auto fill) then press escape
It is says OKAY the click on Bootloader on then select reboot recovery and should reboot into recovery and try mount usb storage to computer from MOUNTS AND STORAGE
Before flashin aby rom, check ur hboot version.
Now, in ur case, copy out ur downloaded rom. Den extract the vold.fstab file (only dat file) located at /system/etc. Open it in a text editor (notepad or notepad++) and look @ d last line.
If u r using hboot 1.28 or 6.28, it should read "sdcard 34"
If u r using hboot 1.25 or 6.25, it should read "sdcard 33"
Save and copy back into d zip file.
Since u cannot access ur memory currently, boot ur fone into recovery and mount sd storage. Copy d now modded zip file to d root folder and flash.
Your internal storage is now visible.
Also, if u have already flashed d rom, u can get a root explorer and navigate to that file and edit it from there, then reboot your phone.
Just professional NOOB trying to be a NOOB professional.

Did you install TWRP recovery?
If not, download it, Copy fix-twrp_zf4_recovery.img to adb folder.
then go to Droid boot (Power + volume up).
Open adb terminal and enter following commands
- fastboot flash recovery fix-twrp_zf4_recovery.img
Then choice wipe/advance wipe:
- Dalvik Cache
- Cache
- Data
Then reboot system
I have smtd GT-i9000. I was having error like /data, /system, /cache all were not mounting after installing Lineage OS - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70866902&postcount=51
Previously I had installed Marshmallow Rom using CWM Recovery and it automatically installed TWRP 3.0.2. From then on when I tried to flash the Nougat Lineage Untested Rom using ADB Sideload data got unmounted. But then I formatted the data to ext4 and it again got mounted but still when I flashed even Jelly Bean official rom error 7 was seen. I tried to remove the assert code but still it did not worked. Then after rebooting or something everything cache, data, system everything got unmounted and I cannot even change file system. I thought all the problem was because of twrp so I flashed philz touch 6.19.3 now it goes on bootlooping. I cannnot even go to download mode by pressing the buttons. Going to download mode was not possible even before. I am newbie so I do not know much about these. Please help!!! It is not my phone its my friends mobile so he will screw me up! Please help...
Edit: In short
1) Bootlooping Philz Touch 6.19.3
2) Cannot go to download mode by buttons (Even when phone was not bootlooping).
3) Cannot mount /data /system /cache file systems even though I tried formatting.
4) Previously while installed twrp 3.0.2 and all file systems were mounted and good I could not flash even jelly bean rom and it said error 7.
5) Please tell is there any force way of installing stock rom or anything and repair all these and get out of bootlooping. It is not my phone but my friend, he will screw me up for what I have done. Please help me. Please XDA Developers. Please....
Edit: Now I can go to download mode. Please guide me how to mount and install recovery and install any working rom for my device. Mine is from India.
I tried to flash pixelExperience (12, latest) yesterday and... now there's so many bugs...
- can't stay in fastboot screen, it shows the fastboot logo for 1-2 sec and boot into system, neither enter by VolumnDown+Start nor adb reboot fastboot
- twrp stucks on the teamwin logo, but as u can see adb is available
- and my adb said 'cannot read pixelExperience-xxxx.zip' so actually I put the zip into internal storage and installed via twrp
- when enter the system, it stucks on the Google logo loading screen...
thank u
