How to charge battery in fastboot mode - Huawei Ascend P7

Hello,
I want to know how i can charge my battery in fastboot mode , my battery is below 15 % and my phone and i have to do a factory reset with the 3 button method.
Thx

You can't charge battery in fastboot mode.
Turn on device by pressing and holding power + vol+ and charge it in recovery mode.

Thx, but i cannot stay in recovery mode , phone shows recovery mode for 1 sec than it go's to fastboot

It's a bad sign. Seems like kernel panic. Anyway, even if you will charge battery, you won't be able to flash firmware.

I9100G cannot start but can charge. Hard Bricked??

Guys i tried to flash [4.0.4] CyanogenMod 9 experimental builds then i found out it is not stable yet so i decided to flash back to Malaysia ICS 4.0.3 thru Odin. After i flash the rom thru Odin , my phone keep restarting . After that i decided to unplug the battery and switch on again . I cannot start my phone after i unplug and plug in the battery again. I cannot go into download mode and recovery mode but i still can charge my phone with charger. Is my phone hard bricked? Can anyone save my phone from bricked ? Please give me some solution T.T
its impossible to hard brick the phone with software unless u flash some other phones boot loader on it , leave it on charging for an hour after that pull the battery out and try again , i remember having that prob try to get into recovery hold down both volume up, volume down, and power button and don't let go until recovery comes up after charging
Hard brick means u cant do anything. The fact that your phone is charging shows its not hard bricked. You cant do much though. Charge it and flip out and in your battery and try to go into download mode. If by chance u get into download mode, quickly roll back to an offial 4.0 or even 2.3.6 fr the time being.

does your phone opens with a black screen when you push the power button or with a half brick screen like a phone and a computer image on the screen?
I would suggest that you take the battery out, plug it in after a while (5-10 mins) and turn on the power while quickly holding the Vol up+Home keys into the download mode. Then flash your ICS 4.03 via Odin and see if it works
you need buy or make yourself an USB JIG , then you can put the phone in download mode and reflash the stock firmware, i recommend reflash the 2.3.6 rom and next update via kies ...
Ya . thanks guys, it is not a hard brick . Is my handset got problem. I solved the problem already
It is writtrn there already did you get a black screen
After the boot that means you have not selected the resurection version.

stuck in middle of everything.

aah ! here is the story.
so i was on some normal n7000 rom like some orignal ones which do come with these phones.
i installed CM nighliess 4.4 which dint really work.
so i replaced it with some Slimbeanversions. and it just sucked!
i was able to enter into cwm recovery before and then i messed up again and now i am unable to enter into cwm recovery
i thought i might just install philz recovery through odin as i was able to enter into download mode
i just did that. and now ..i can go to download mode screen but when i try to continue further with volume up button and restarts. and as its connected with charger/laptop the charging cell appears it restarts it appears again and restarts again.
anyhelp what i am suppose to do and what i have done?
please. Thank you .
regards.
Try to remove the battery for about 20 seconds. While the battery is not in press the power button couple of times. Also make sure there is sufficient charge in the battery. Put the battery back and try download mode. Flash philz kernel or stock ROM of your choice.

Then flash a stock ROM. You can download it from samfirmware.com.

now it has gone all the way and success came up. i cant go into recovery still.
but if i plug it out from usb or charger, it wont start(it wasnt befroe as well)
and i plug it in in usb or charger, the empty battery cell comes(which normally comes when you are charging phone when its turned off) and it goes back, comes back agian and goes back again and so on again again and again.
i can go to download mode but when its connected either with usb or with charger.
any help please what to do ?
regards
Try to use a charged battery or externally charge the battery.

Stuck at Odin mode

I wanted to see the Recovery mode and Download mode. Here in Download mode, I didn't do anything.. I wanted to turn it off and boot it normally.
It's stuck there.. Downloading... Do not turn off target
I can't turn it off. Obviously I can't remove the battery. I'm guessing my only choice would be to wait for the battery to run out.
Any idea why this happens? What else can I do? What if once the battery runs out and I try to turn it on, it returns to this state?

If I remember correctly it is volume- with power and home. Maybe volume+ though. Just until the screen shuts off though.
Welp, the battery run out, and it was able to boot normally. I didn't think of trying the button combination for download mode again. I only tried the one for recovery mode and it failed lol. Thanks for the heads up.
If you press the power button long enough, it reboots normally or you try entering recovery again, and then reboot

Just responding late as this is 2nd ranked in Google for "galaxy note 5 stuck in odin"
Press & hold (for approx 15 secs) Power + Vol Down + Home buttons on Note 5 if you're stuck in Odin Mode. Phone should reboot.

do not reboot phone with USB cable connected.
use power+vol up to reboot
are you using HTC orginal cable???
Do you have the USB Debugging enabled ?
original cable, debuggin not changed becausa frash rom flashed....I solv it with volume- + volume+ + power=shoutdown
I'v installed the last stock firmware.
Now there is another problem: the phone is completely drained, put it on charge, and after a while I displayed a black screen, with the logo of the battery in the middle, and bottom of the red "This build is for developement purpose only .... ", red LED flashing. Cut the cable, it will not budge from that screen, compelled to force a shutdown (volume keys + power). Then boot normally.
How can I avoid this problem?

you recovery might be corrupted. re-flash. i advise TWRP.
charge phone when off for a while the remove cable and turn it on.
if LED its flashing, it means its not charging.
The problem happens only when the battery is fully discharged. When I connect it to the charger, the LED flashes, and appears on the screen the logo of the battery and the red lettering at the bottom. Then, after a while the charge, forcing poweroff the phone with volume buttons and power, and the phone will restart correctly.

We agree that you intend to solve the problem, but till the time a solution is not found its advisable to keep the phone into ultra power saving mode at 15% or 10%, this will give about 8-15 hours of time to find a charger to charge your phone.
For me I have never let my phone die out of charge and I don't have a charger with me every where.
The only way to know if this is a recovery problem, which I doubt, is to flash the stock recovery and stock boot and check.

Is charging while in fastboot mode safe?

Hello everyone,
I have mi 9 with unlocked bootloader. Yesterday it got stuck on fastboot mode after i flash syberia OS. The flashing was succesful, but when i rebooted to recovery, it got stuck in fastboot. I tried to reboot to system by holding power button, it went back to fastboot. Holding power + volume up, still went back to fastboot. Then i waited for about ten minutes, and it went off itself. After that, i charged it for 45 minutes. When i plugged in the charger, the phone went back to fastboot again.
What i'm asking is, is it safe, charge my phone while it's in fastboot mode? Coz after 45 minutes charging, my phone got hot. I can say it reached 50-55°C.
Much gratitude for the answer.
Sorry for my bad english.

No. If you keep it plugged in it will accelerate the battery aging.
@kaydentc1 Thanks for the answer. Usefull information. Is there any way to measure the battery capacity?
