you can try this one here
but your backup should work.
-if you have an sdcard...remove it before rebboting.
-unplug USB cable too

For lollipop the best one with some support will probably be CM12. But theres still some bugs with sound and others.
Try the forum for your ROM if existes, might be some help there.

[Q] almost everything force close

Hi i have a bell galaxy s i just flash ugkc1 firmware but when the phone boots i get force close message for almost every app.
i think the internal sd might be corrupted tried to format it but all files are still there
any idea ??
thank you
your SD card usually nothing to do with application force close, those files which you see after formatting on SD card should be there so do not worry about them.
if you want to find the reason explain about your previous rom and kernel. did you do a factory reset or wipe before and after rom installation?
Here is two simalar topics. I also have that problem and cannot solve it yet.

When i looked in internet i found sth similar for HTC, but devs corrected it. They parted some files from working devices and pushed it to system with adb.

Maybe sth like that will also solve our problem but we need help.
If you find any sollution please infrom us. Maybe it will be useful for us too.

I doubt it is an SD problem. Go to recovery, clear cache and dalvik and fix permissions. If the problem persists to a factory reset and reinstall your apps from the market.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
thanks again for tryin to help i already tried this but didnt work
Edit :
flashed back to stock 2.2.. now i get ''blank internal sd'' on the notification bar. phone doesn't seem to detect internal sd card is this a hardware or software problem ?
thanks
now i flashed sppedmode kernel phone seems to be running a little better ( less force closes messages) but i still can't delete files or format my sd card
any idea ?
I tried to flash darky 9.2 (odin version). Then i reach with ADB to the internal when it is in CWM. I pushed there some custom roms and flashed with CWM. But it did not help either.
isn't there any way to fix a corrupted sd card ?

[Q] Help HELP HELP My Nexus one need help and advice ://

i wanted to flash from gingerbread to miui
so i read i had to wipe my cache and i did
i wiped
*Cache
*DevCache
*SD:ext
*battery status
well you guy know the wipe menu on rooted phones so yeah
after i did that i reboot my phone
plug it to my mac and try mounting it
and it dint work my nexus said unable to mount sd card
so i cant flash a diferent rom
now in addition to that ever since that my phone on boot screen where the lock icon apears it gets this green pixel like rain and then it goes away and boots up then it takes me to the welcome screen but im unable to get response from the screen only track ball and buttons work
so yeah if some can guide me trough some advice how to fix this ill apreciate ask for more info if willing to help
you could try mounting sd somewhere else like on a card reader getting a rom u know works wiping everything and then flashing that rom onto your phone
Wo this is a weird problem.
Ok well the first thing is what can you boot into (ex: hboot, fasboot, recovery, system) and does either adb or fastboot connect or are all the connections to the MAC dead?
Do you have a card reader that you can transfer a zip onto the SD card with? What custom recovery are you using.
EDIT: Do you have a nandroid?

Bootloop at At&T and battery logo

Hi Guys,
Need help for captivate. Its has gone into boot loop, it restarts at At&T logo and if I plug the charger, it shows battery icon and reboots again and battery is also not charging. I tired to one click stock different version including boot loaders, still having the same issue. It was also not going in the download mode earlier so I had to use JIG for this. Please guide me how to get out of this trouble.
It will be even better if you can suggest me how to clean it completely like all the partitions and flash it to stock using ODIN because it looks like one click odin method is not able to solve this issue.
I have already tried:
I897UCJF6-final-OCD-REV0
kh3_heimdall_cwm-One-Click
Thanks
Guys it seems problem with internal SD card and thats why it has stuck in bootloop. Can anyone of you please link me to complete firmware including PIT file? Wherever I search and download I am getting One click packages.
I tried everything but nothing worked at last I came across this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1906089
and made external card work as internal card and now everything is up and running

When i was stuck in that screen the only way i found to get out of it was to remove the back cover and disconnect the battery
I have the same problem
-I have rooted my htc mini2 and after a while decided to restore the original ROM but everytime i turn on the phone i have that red warning message.
One day i decided to delete de TWRP backup files bacause it takes a lot of space on my internal memory .
Yesterday my baterry died so when i was turning my phone it gets stuck on that message screen . So i can't get through because on my internal memory i don't have the TWRP files to backup or get into recovery mode.
Is there any solution? i was thinking about putting those files on my sd card and see if the phone will read them?

No, not possible from SDCard alone, you have to flash TWRP by placing TWRP in PC ADB folder (ADB must be installed in PC and device should be able to enter bootloader and fastboot) and entering bootloader>fastboot on device, then connect device to PC, this only works on unlocked devices.
Command is :
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot erase cache

Hey, i had the same issue. After rooting my phone, when my phone died because of the low battery, the same thing happened to me.
The solution is pretty simple, actually - you have to restart the charging unit of your phone.
So what you gotta do is this:
leave it to charge a couple of minutes (so it will have enough power to boot again) and then just press all the buttons of your phone at the same time and hold it for up to 10 seconds, so power button + volume up + volume down.
This will restart your charging unit and it will get your phone to boot normally again. :fingers-crossed:
I don't know why this keeps happening, but I have to do it all the time, if my phone dies. So I try to make sure it has enough battary not to die, because it is just annoying.
i have the same problem. if you hold the power button + volume up you can reboot your phone if it is frozen.

the trick is to keep hold of power vol up & vol down for 2 mins,it will boot, reboot, boot, reboot loads of times, keep hold for at least 2 mins, once you let go it resets itself:good:
make sure you have a some means of installing Android back onto your phone placed on your SD card or internal storage
I recommend updating to the latest version of twrp before trying these (I used 3.0.2.0)
twrp>wipe>advanced wipe>select everything but: "/Micro SDCard" "/Internal Storage" "SD-EXT" and "USB-OTG
after that install Android by restoring from a recovery backup or instal a custom rom onto your device (whatever floats your boat)

Does your Nook boot straight to recovery?
If so, it's likely that its /bootdata partition's files need to be reset/restored; this can be done by flashing the flashable_fix_bootdata-ovation.zip for the HD+ (or flashable_fix_bootdata-hummingbird.zip for the HD) available at http://www.mediafire.com/folder/6a4rivb8kkdfu/Nook_HD+.

Yes, you can use the sdcard recovery to flash the bootdata zip file which would fix the "bootloop to recovery" problem (just to be clear: this will not fix the problem of bootloop which occurs while in the midst of booting up the ROM).
thanks for the help and quick replys to my problem, so i can boot to recovery with micro sd card installed the bootloop is when trying to boot android 4.4.4, how can i tell if the internal memory is bricked is there something i can do in the recovery? thanks again

If the Nook bootloops after it starts to boot the ROM OS then your problem is not due to /bootdata content. You can try to re-flash the CM/LN ROM & GApps. While flashing if you get error messages saying some partition such /system or /data cannot be mounted then chances are your emmc is bricked, in which case you can try running off sdcard the CM11 ROM build specially made for bricked/no-emmc available at https://iamafanof.wordpress.com/201...-4-4-4-for-bricked-no-emmc-nook-hd-04nov2014/.
ok i tried my best to understand the steps in the link provided
i formatted a 8 gb micro sd card with sdformatter then wrote the .img file to the card then i dragged and dropped the cm11 zip file but did not have enough room for the gapps zip file,
did the power and n button that got me to the twrp screen but could not have done the mount boot the boot would not highlight with a checkmark
Is there a way to remove this corrupt rom without having to install another rom,
reason i asked is i just want see if the emmc is still working correctly
