I have had this problem before, and once I upgraded my phone to Lollipop, everything was good and the watch was rock solid with the Bluetooth connection. My phone is the Samsung Galaxy Note III running 5.1.1.
As of about a week ago, I started getting random Bluetooth disconnections/reconnections constantly. I use watchmaker and it will buzz on disconnect and buzz again almost immediately on reconnection.
I have been using LeeDroid ROM v3.1 on my watch, and IntersectRaven's kernels. Those have not changed since this started.
This is driving me crazy. I have fastboot formatted the cache, system, and userdata and reinstalled LeeDroid's Rom and IntersectRaven's kernels.
Has anybody else had this happen to them?
As a result of constant disconnection/reconnections, my battery life has been horrible.
Any assistance appreciated!
EDIT: after reading the "Wear" App on Google play, it seems that many people have an issue after the latest update of Wear. I'm not certain if this is what is happening to my watch, but very disappointed in the watch's operations at this point.
Cheers,
B.D.

Hey guys! This is my first post on XDA, though I've been using it for quite a while.
I'm not exactly looking for answers/solutions, but rather sharing my problem and see if someone else is having them too.
I have a Latin American version of the I91000 (TTT). I recently upgraded to ICS using the official firmware from Samfirmware (UHLPE). At first everything looked great. The performance improvement was noticeable from the first bootup. Not only was it faster, but the intro video was far smoother and looked nicer. The general UI changes are very nice, and I did notice an improvement in battery life.
However, I've been experiencing a couple of glaring issues that really mared the experience enough to make me want to go back to Gingerbread, which I will probably do.
These are the problems:
1. The mobile data connection is very unstable. Sometimes it just doesn't load anything, and sometimes I lose the signal altogether. The 3G/H/H+ icon disappears and all. I never had this problem in GB during the 6 months I've had this phone.
2. The Bluetooth audio connection also has problems. It's now more unstable and susceptible to interference, and the lag is also much more noticeable now. It was about .5 seconds before, but now it's more than a full second.
But that's not the worst issue. The media remote control functions just stopped working altogether, namely, the |<< , >>| , >/|| buttons on my headset. I have a Nokia BH505 Bluetooth headset, and I didn't have any of these problems before either.
So that's it. I would like to know if someone else is experiencing one or both of these issues. I'll also check the Samfirmware forums to look for replies on the matter. Thank you for your feedback.
I dont have enough posts to post in the rom-related threads, but i have been having some issues and would like to share my experience.
Avatar Rom - I kept having random freezes, and wouldnt wake up. Occasionally i had a issue with bluetooth not being able to turn on but it seemed to work it self out on its own after a day or two.
Liquid - Had more bluetooth issues, and same random freezes/reboots
AOKP - Has been my daily driver for a while now. I still get the occasional reboot out of nowhere, but my only main problem with this one is the bluetooth. It works great after i flash the rom, then if i reboot, it will be switched off and will not let me switch it back on. To fix, i have to boot into recovery and wipe cache, and reboot. Then it works great until another reboot.
Also i have noticed in all roms except the stock one, the phone gets pretty hot while listening to pandora or playing games or anything really. Is that just common with this phone?

Haven't had the same issues with blutooth but I noticed changing the governor to interactive helped some with the reboots and and random freezes on CM10.1 and Avatar.
If your streaming pandora over 4G then yeah, phones probably going to get a little warm.

All thes roms based of aosp
I used the latest aosp nightly and I don't have problems with bluetooth

I mostly stream over WiFi. I'll try the interactive governor and see how it does

there was/is a known bluetooth stack issue
i saw some .zip fixes in other forums like the samsung epic4g
doubt its compatible, but the issue was identified and likely why aosp was fixed
I am having an issue with bluetooth using RC5 of CM10.1 (I will update to the latest nightly). Phone sets up nicely, but twice now after the first restart, bluetooth will not power back on. Was clearly on after set-up with the icon in the notification bar, and now the toggle won't slide to on.
Hello everybody,
I have been waiting a bit until posting this issue to see if future nightly builds of Cyanogenmod solved the problem but to no avail, I already posted on their forums but so far no one has been able to figure out the problem... not that they tried.
I'm using an international Galaxy note (n7000) and these issues have been popping up since last month.
The main problem comes up when using the android keyboard and listening to music at the same time, the phone just seem to struggle a lot, music begins to stutter and usually the phone just becomes unresponsive and I have to force reboot the whole thing. A pain in the neck. Lately the phone just hangs whenever it feels like it and I have to reboot it, it usually happens twice a day.
Sometimes you're able to come back to normal after a few minutes but rarely.
The problem was even worse while using SwiftKey, now I'm back to just using the normal android keyboard but still the issue pops up almost every day. I already did a wipe data/factory reset, no avail.
Any thoughts on this?
Thank you in advance.
Post a log. Which ROM where you on before flashing CM.
sounds like a memory leak, try newer versions or trace down the issue. Check which apps consume most and cpu when it occurs.
Check as previous poster said logfiles

CM 10.1.3-N7000 bluetooth issues
Hello,
I'm using CM 10.1.3-N7000 and I really love it, but I'm forced to use another ROM, just because of the carkit compatibility via bluetooth. The sound is extremely bad.
Does anyone know if it's fixed in later versions or earlier versions?
Are there other ROM's, ot based on CM without the bluetooth problem?
I'm really searching since two days now to find a bluetoothfix, but can't find it.
Pairing and so on is no problem at all, it's just the soundquality that is terrible. (it was not the case with my stockROM)
thank you for giving me some advice!
I switched to Omnirom and I think the problem has been solved now.
If I see that the same problem is back as it was with CM, I will come back to that.
Since it seems Cyan has halted release of cyan 11 nightlies for the Atrix HD (indicative of what, I'm not sure), I figure it's worth solving this personal issue now; since it will most likely require another factory reset and I'd rather do it now.
Since day one of using custom ROMs, I've had the issue of my phone randomly crashing. Despite previously using only stable cyan releases, making sure to do clean resets (factory, dalvik, formatting system partitions, etc), letting the phone "stabilize" after installing (no clue what this means, but people seem to suggest just letting the phone sit about 10 min after flashing a new ROM, claiming a more stable experience), and even flashing a new kernel, I still see the same issue.
At this point, I've pretty much accepted that more likely than not, I'll have my phone randomly freeze and reset in my hands during basic use, calls, texting, internet use, listening to music, etc. Though clearing the Dalvik cache seems to quell the problem, it soon returns to the familiar behavior a day or two later. Any other basic solutions I might be overlooking? Suggestions, even obvious, very welcome.
CM11 switched to unified builds for the Moto 8960 family . http://www.cmxlog.com/11/moto_msm8960/
You can safely download a zip and dirty flash it over your current CM11 installation. At least that's what I did and I'm having possibly the smoothest experience so far on this phone/CM combo running Sat March 01 nightly.
About your crashes, do you get a phone freeze with signal loss before restarts? Do you always get a restart when the phone crashes?
Did you try enabling 2G only for a while? Do you crash while on WiFi?
You could also try another ROM such as Validus. I find the 4.3 release to be quite stable.
Thank you for the link to the new unified build. I've been busy with approaching midterm that I'd only heard of the new builds but didn't look into it personally.
As for the freezing. It's always been the same behavior: screen and all function buttons suddenly becoming unresponsive with no warning or change in signal (regardless of wifi or data use) remaining frozen for 10 to 30 sec, before returning to the unlocked bootload warning screen and the normal cyan reboot animation and normal lock screen after.
Everytime is has froze it will restart (i suspected a memory issue at one point, but after watching the memory usage long enough to see it randomly freeze but no change in mem, I doubt that it's directly the issue). I have not tried switching to 2g, so it would be worth a try. It will freeze regardless of whether wifi is off or on.
The only real "pattern" I could argue seeing is that it freezes most often during skype calls, while playing music (pandora and play music), and internet using browser; though it might only be because I'm actually paying attention to the phone while it is doing these tasks, I'm sure that it's probably freezing and resetting in my pocket thoughout the day. It will also randomly reset while looking through settings or non-data dependent tasks. Ironically, I've never had it reset on me while I was watching a youtube video. Go figure.

Any ROM, stable, nightly, cyan or other, with still see it start randomly freezing and rebooting an hour to a day after flashing.
-update*
After having switched to 2g signal instead of LTE, I haven't seen anymore randomly rebooting. I'm not sure if this was the issue but it's already been a day which is longest I've seen it remain stable.
1 Week later, back to the same behavior as before. Seems I might just screwed for having a stable modded phone.
Hey guys, I'm having GPS issues with my phone. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same.
I'm getting a decently long lock time and then afterwards, every 10-15 mins I'm getting a lock loss followed by a little delay then a lock again.
In case it helps, I'm on stock build KTU84P.N910TUVU1ANJ7.
Consequentially, if someone could help me out by giving me the following files from their phone, it'd be really appreciated:
/system/lib/hw/gps.default.so
/system/lib/libloc_core.so
/system/lib/libloc_api_v02.so
/system/lib/libloc_eng.so
/system/etc/gps.conf
Same here.. Across ROMs(NJ7 based ROM and stock NJ7) as well. Did the compass calibration but didn't fix it. Navigation on this phone is pretty terrible since it loses gps every 15 minutes like what you're seeing.. Any suggestions from anyone would be great!
I flashed the new baseband and still am having the issue of a buggy GPS...
I did have initial issues.
But the compass calibration seems to have resolved most of those.
Though yesterday I did lose the gps signal, which I thought was weird.
It was the first time it did that which I can remember.
It's happened to me on all my Note phones. Samsungs gps is less than spectacular.
Ya I'm having the same issue it doesn't matter the ROM still same issue. But think its a Samsung firmware issue. It works for me initially on a trip A to B but seems way back B to A it stops. Didn't have this issue with note 3. Part of my reason for bigger phone is GPS use so this is irritating. If not fixed with lollipop might have to change.

My Note 4 is currently completely stock/unrooted NK4, and I've seen the same thing - GPS works for several minutes, dies for about 5 seconds, then comes back. I've also once had GPS fail to lock at all until I rebooted the phone. :-/
Oh, well. It's still way better than my old S3 which had been dropped quite a few times.
I'm not having any gps issues. The new updated maps is doing it for me.
But, on other phones I have installed the faster fix app when having gps issues. It can be acquired in the playstore:
