1.Download cwm recovery zip
2.Extract zip
3.Copy recovery to sdcard directory
3.Download mobile uncle tool android app
4.Open mobile uncle tool
5.Go to recovery update
6.Select recovery.img
7.Wait 10 seconds !
8.Reboot in recovery
enjoy ! you have cwm recovery and don't copy and modify my work without my permission

Hello fellow XDA users!
Now I know that this device is and always was crap and I know it's a bit old but hey.... why forget about it!
First I would like to thank @midzan21 for publishing this recovery. Especially since the links for CWM and TWRP are dead.
I would like to present you my very small Philz theme I made. It has a lollipop theme (Or at least it should resemble Material design) with a new background and new soft keys/nav bar. It also has a new warning logo. Functionality is identical and not different to @midzan21 's recovery since I just changed the look of it.
BEFORE YOU FLASH I WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW!
I am not responsible for any damage dealt to your device even though a brick is impossible if you do everything right. Also, I am not responsible for any kinds of Zombie outbreaks or a 3rd World War.

Instructions to flash :

1. Make sure you have another recovery installed before. Since the links for cwm and twrp are dead. Thankfully [user=4203213]@midzan21[/user] send me a working older philz that you can flash via odin (link : https://www.dropbox.com/s/rdg4eopnag...a.tar.md5?dl=0). There is still a cwm build for the galaxy ace that you can use to at least flash this recovery (Link here : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347823795)

2. Boot into recovery. Plug your phone into your pc
3. On your pc open the adb shell
4. Depending on what recovery you use you should do the following :
4.1 OLD CWM : adb push <your philz zip> /emmc (or if /emmc doesn't work do /emmc/). Then go back and select install zip from sdcard and then select from internal sdcard. Next up select Philz and flash it
4.2 OLD Philz : Select Install zip and then install from sideload. Then type adb sideload <your philz zip>
5. Once it's done flashing reboot to recovery and you should be good to go with the themed philz

Hey @CTXz just to know, I'm not builder of Philz CWM, original builder is @erikcas . I just have a backup link to his latest Philz CWM, and maybe I have a link to CWM which can be flashed via Odin. If I find CWM I would provide a link.

If you have custom recovery then you can flash it on your device. There is no need to flash both of them

Is the zip for MRA58N is signature verified as i want to update it through stock recovery and i think i downloaded from the same source you mentioned and it didn't worked last time as it didn't passed the update signature verification. Can you please provide any other source? which have you tried and you're 100% not 99.99% sure about that it contains signature.

Are you 100% sure because i really don't have that much mobile data left. I may not be able to try other downloads after this. It's actually the same folder i downloaded from before i.e. Android One 1st Gen [sprout]. So i'm not sure. Maybe there is some other workaround to fix this rather than downloading the same file again.

Infinix hot 2 marshmallow romdump sp flashtool flashable

Many hot 2 users still haven't gotten the Marshmallow update by now, or most of us probably need the stock backup, well thanks to Team Hovatek, we finally have the 6.0 ROM backed up....
For those who are still having issues getting this done with that guide, we have provided an alternative; an SP Flash Tool flashable format of the OTA update.
Note: This is not an official firmware from Infinix. Team Hovatek dumped the firmware of our copy of the Infinix Hot 2 X510 which had been successfully upgraded to Marshmallow (Android 6.0) using the above guide.

Yes, you will. The ROMDump is not rooted and is also running on stock recovery. It passed the System Check test.
Just extract the zip file, format and then download using sp flashtool ( pretty sure this ain't new) or better still use the Firmware upgrade option.

Boss I could flash twrp recovery to your romdump... I have successfully flash it but whenever I tried to boot to twrp recovery the romdump recovery always over ride the flashed twrp and also I cannot manually boot to stock recovery on this your romdump.

Hope this one is bugless ?

It doesn't but that issue is easily fixed, I think hovatek.com has the file to flash to enable vol buttons on recovery boot.
