Self-compiled CM for damn sure - it's already grown into a habit.
To get back what I love about HTC devices, I installed a minimal part of xpirt's Sense Home bundle (Home, Service Pack, Weather) and a Sense 7 theme, and the result is pretty nice.

I just remembered, I'm a liar. I did use TB once on my Desire, and that failed miserably so I decided it's a piece of c**p app and I decided I don't need it [emoji23]

I am quite partial to Lollipop GPE roms, particularly stock roms. However if I want a long term stable rom, I always end up going back to a Kitkat Sense 6 rom as they provide the best for battery life and smoothest performance.

Have u tried NuSense7 yet? It's smoother and more dependable than any rom I've ever been on, stock sense 6 included. I'm on the Verizon version as I'm on a vzw m7, however I know @santod040 knows what he's doing with anything m7 related, and I know he has the same rom available for wwe/international m7 as well.

They are all solid, it depends on what features, themes, etc you are looking for.
Rooted within 3 hours. Started on a different Rom but switched to vipers and never looked back. Incredibly close to stock with just some basic visual upgrades and a lot under the hood

I enjoy d3rpONE. Its a sense based rom with good a good looking theme, full functionality and lots of under the hood tweaks and fixes.
D3rped out Beastmode! HTC ONE!
d3rpROM, ViperROM, and TrickDroid are the best ones out there atm. I am currently running TrickDroid because it has tons of mods selectable in AROMA, it is quite nice. (you can find it in the international forum, it will give you the option to flash the Sprint version from the .zip)

Have you tried RENOVATE? Using RENOVATE ROM, Wolfpack Kernel and OJM MODs.....ultimate device. Viper ROM is very nice....but Quadrants and Antutu scores suffer greatly. Renovate also includes PureXAUDIO , battery optimization, and it flys. It's mostly stock unless you choose their theme
I think he meant he rooted in 3 hours and not it took all of 3 hours.
It took me about 2 hours to root. It would have been faster but I used the HTC One (M7) All-In-One Toolkit V1.2, and while it got me started, it didn't work as advertised, left off steps, and then just stopped working. I had to do most of the work manually myself, but I did it.
theres an easy video to follow on youtube if you search "htc one root" look for the one posted by qbking77. it doesnt use the all in one toolkit so if something goes wrong its easier to figure out what you did wrong...

Information and Help

Hello,
I'm new here and I'm looking for a good stable rom for my daily use (fully functional) and most importantly stable , I'm actually tired of how my phone performs on the stock rom, I would like to have fast and smooth performance. Is there anything possible? Help and suggesstions will be highly appreciated.
I'm using the Rogers HTC Raider 4G.
Regards.
No one?
I think the best way to do it is to try each one for a couple of days, while making notes about their pros & cons. One person could tell you that one rom is the best, while another could tell you a different rom is the best. It's all up to you.

This is a developers forum, there are a lot of roms here for one device, I'm not a developer, I'm just an individual looking for one or two. All I'm saying is that, a developer has knowledge and experience, if a developer would care to suggest one or two, I would be out of the scenario of trying each one, because for a daily user like me, it would be a pain. You know what I'm saying, right?

OK...
I hate to do this...
But
CM 11 is nice and stable... But old...
PAC 4.4.4 is stable-ish... Has some bugs... But its in nightlies... So bugs come and go...
Ressurection Remix is really nice and stable... But very old... So you'll have some compatibility issues with things...
Any of the CM 10.2 ROMs are bad battery drainers due to old kernel issues...
Ditto for the CM 10 ROMs...
I hate sense... But any of the sense based ROMs are really stable... If you go with those... Kozmik's kernel is very nice... The senseless sense ROMs are a little messy... But very usable...

One more thing, the CM 11 is the 4.2.2 Rom isn't it? I've seen it on some Raiders these days, is it good for daily use?
Thankyou again.

I'm restricted to post in the other thread, is Kozmik's kernel compatible with the stock ICS sense 3.6 rom?
And if so, is it possible to flash it via fastboot through pc? Because I'm currently S-on and don't plan to go S-off.
Mentioning again that I have a Roger's HTC Raider.

Lol, thanks alot m8
yeah, it was damn right. after had trying lollipop everything goes down i think. specially the battery, draining fast.
so i made a downgrade to JB with the RUU, and upgrading again to 4.4.2 till right now. dont want anymore to use lolli.
I don't know about others, but the battery life for me has been really good on the latest 7.193401.22 for EU variants.
I've had my (AT&T) m7 on Android Revolution HD 90.1 for ~1 - 2 months with zero issues, not even a single crash/reboot. I have not noticed a change in battery life from 4.4. Another nice bonus is performance of the phone has improved significantly - though that could be that I no longer have Xposed installed.

Best Sense 7 rom for htc one m7

Any suggestions on what's the best sense 7 custom Rom for the m7. All the sense 7 I have tried consume too much battery. Is there any which you can recommend that has good battery life? Performance wise sense 7 is good though.

I'll not answer with a "this rom is the best" kind of answer simply because I think its a little impolite for the devs. Lollipop roms are known to be less battery friendly than Kitkat roms. I personally didn't noticed any big difference between lollipop Sense 6 vs Lollipop Sense 7. I'm having good results using Sense 7 roms with ElementalX kernel to slighlty undervolt the cpus, Xposed + amplify and some other minor tweaks using Tasker. Can easily use my phone without having to charge it more than once a day (overnight). Currently using InsertCoin but was also having similar results on other roms like NuSenSeven.
I've been using NuSense7 on my Vzw m7 ever since the last update @santod040 dropped a few months ago, and haven't looked back. This roms more rock solid then the official HTC sense 6 rom far as I'm concerned

not experiencing this issue, both "double tap to wake" and the power button are waking up the phone instantly. I would simply make a clean install like suggested by @lambofgod13

Yes that's right. I also think that wiping in twrp and then doing it again in aroma right before installing is the best practice and way to go. Most of the lollipop roms had or didn't have things i liked, some were unstable call issues, data issues, lag and so on. I've always come back to insertcoin. I used element kennel but it seemed to get real laggy after a couple days. Just my experience. Try for a week and see how you like it. It's all mostly preference.

Sprint stock rom rooted s-off htc m9 version 2.11.651.19 no boot.

I have searched google for an answer and havn't had any luck. I have been running device since day before launch, and s-offed a week after it came available and have had no luck getting any version of xposed-arm64 to run, or even get phone to boot past startup animation. Don't want custom rom either.
