Hi,
I think I have hard-bricked my phone. It's not rooted. It can't boot into download mode (showing "downloading...."), but it can boot into recovery mode.
At first, I can't gain access into the internal sdcard......... seems like it is corrupted. **when I plug into my pc, the phone can't be detected (samsung driver is installed)**
Later on, I've tried to wipe data and factory reset and i accidentally format system :crying: ....... I have also try to flash back to stock firmware, but it showed these :
E: failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
Can it still be fixed? Can someone guide me on how to deal with this problem?

as you can see there's a lot of posts with this kind of information, just stick by one and one of them will do the trick.
I had the same problem once, and used a process to simply revert to stock and it worked...
What I didiwas something along these steps:
1st search for stock roms (a site called Android xda as them)
You can start by here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2773407
Then:
Install Samsung Drivers.
Extract Stock firmware zip file to get the .tar.md5 file named like "S5830XWKTM........"
Download and Extract "Odin for GT-S5830+OPS.zip" with WinRar, 7Zip or Windows zip file utility.
Power off your Phone.
Get into "Download mode" by pressing Home + Vol(-) + Power Keys.
Open Odin_Multi_Downloader.exe
Connect your phone to pc via USB cable.
Make sure that your phone is detected in "Com Port Maping" area
Press "Select Ops" button and choose Cooper.ops file along with the Odin_Multi_Downloader.exe
Check "One Package" tick on option above message
Press "One Package" button and choose the firmware file "xxxx.tar.md5" (under select ops)
Press "Start" button under Execution.
Wait for some time... The flashing may take about 4 min - 5 min. The Phone will be auto rebooted after successfull flasing.
Remove the USB Cable.
If you are facing boot loop after flashing completed on Odin, you have to go to Stock Recovery (Home+Power Key combination) and select wipe data/factory reset.
Hope you can solve your problem

Hi all,
My i9000 cannot boot successfully, it repeats the samasung logo again and again.
And when I try to re-flash the stock rom - 20110531_ZSJV5_2.3.3_ROOT_STOCK by ODIN
After reboot, it shows following Error:
E:failed to mount /data (File exists)
E:delete_data_files:Can't mount /data
your storage not prepared yet. please use UI menu for format and reboot action.
Media files copy failed
Click to collapse
Then it keeps repeating the samasung logo again and again.
Please help!!!!
Can you access the download screen (volume down + home + start) or CWM screen (volume up + home + start)?
If you can access the download screen, use Odin and download the stock Gingerbread from online (do google search), make sure you also have a PIT file like PIT 512 or something, and have the re-partition ticked, try that and see if it fixes the problem.
If you access CWM, maybe voodoo lag fix is on and didn't properly format the partitions.
Thanks
I have tried using ODIN 1.8 and I9000ZSJV6
But the problem still retain
The screen shoot :

You need to get a .pit file (512) and use repartition in Odin when you are flashing the original rom.
Yeah~I have used PIT512 and selected Re-partition, but problem still remain........
Damn ... it looks bad.
I have a suggestion.
Push a speedmod kernel with odin.
Enter recovery mode.
Convert the partitions to RFS (even if they are reported as such).
Redo the flashing of the original rom.
O...situation goes really bad
After I have flashed SPEEDMOD, I enter CWM
and try to convert to RFS, it said:
Can't mount /mnt/sdcard
Backup failed!
Then quit.
And I try to mount internal SD,
E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblo0)
(No such file or directory)
Error mounting SDCARD:!
It looks like you have issues with the nand memory. I'm not sure 100% about it but it sounds like this.
In case your nand flash is dead, I really don't know what can you do ... there are few topics related to this issue. Check them out and see maybe is a solution somewhere.
don't use JV6, try flashing using JVQ, and don't use rooted versions, use a pure stock, try using Odin 1.7. It if can't mount, maybe there's a corrupt internal SD.
You may want to look at the stock rom vs an odin custom rom (like darkys resurection edition) and see if everything that that the custom has (minus the mods) is in there. I would get a mounting error for db_data from my stock rom (drove me nuts) because the stock roms did not update that and there for with a re partition it was missing.
I finally found another post on the CM7 forums that mentioned it so it could be an issue for your rom too?
If you determine which file it might be you can pull it from an earlier stock rom (one of them should have it).
You might even try flashing darky's. if it works then you know its a file issue and the phone is likely fine.
G
I flashed over 10 different roms with re-partition but nothing change...........
but luckily warranty should still cover, it is now in factory.....
Thanks All~
Similar problem: Phone stuck in boot up loop
Okay so about 2 months ago rooted and put a new rom on my vibrant. Last night I decided I wanted to go back to the original stock rom by restore my phone back to its original factory settings (at the time it made sense to me). I did this by turning the phone off, holding the volume buttons and power button until a menu came up where I selected wipe to factory setting. In doing this I cleared the rom I had on my phone and am now stuck in a loop where my phone keeps trying to turn itself on but has nothing to boot up. I am able to get to the menu that enables me to wipe my phone to factory setting etc but that hasnt helped all too much. I'm unable to mount my phone now on my mac in order to put a new rom on the sd and Oden does not seem to work for macs and I do not want to put a virtual machine on my computer but will if thats the only solution. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
That doesn't wipe to factory settings if you had a custom rom. It just wipes the user areas so IF you had a stock rom it would be back like day 1 but with a custom rom its like day 1 of the custom rom.
Though something else happened here too.

Don't use a mac use Odin and do it on windows, download the stock jvq rom again except in windows and use the 512 pit file aswell. See if that works.

Also forgot to mention when using Odin in windows make sure you have the windows drivers by downloading Samsung kies. From the Samsung website.

Sorry, my connection failed and now it's posted twice.
any solutions?
I'm having the same problem on stock 4.4.2 with Sense 5.5, wlan_rx_wake keeping my phone awake even after factory reset with nothing installed, just google apps updated, on 4.2.2 i used to get about 45-48 hours with medium usage, nothing extreme, now the same way i don't get over 30 hours, it's killing me! here's a screenshot from BBS
maybe try disable cloudprint (found in settings towards the bottom). can take a little time for it to disable when you turn it off. may/may not make a difference.
i read this and seems to make more sense

mainly the second post. hope its of some use..
Thanks for the response, and i will try both options and post the results after.

I think it's fixed now, don't know if batteryguru did the job or theWifiFixer app, i tend to believe that WifiFixer did the thing with this setup in "Service" and "Advanced" settings.

Best solution
after a lot of searching somebody posted this and this fixed the problem better than wifi fixer or anything else, it's a response from HTC Support.
"got an email from HTC support, which I will copy. so far, my battery is back to normal.
I totally understand your concern on this matter with the battery drainage of the phone, and I will be more than glad to assist you.
I ask you to please go to All apps > Settings > Battery or Power, and disable Fast boot. Then, please go to All apps > Settings > Developer options, and enable USB debugging. After doing this, please perform a Cache reset. This process will delete unwanted and temporary files from your phone. It will not mess up your personal files. Just follow the instructions on the attached file.
COPY OF ATTACHED FILE:
Power the phone off.
Press and hold the Volume Down button and then while still holding the Volume down, press the Power button as well.
You will get a menu giving you options such as: Fastboot, Recovery, Clear Storage, and SIMlock
Navigate to “Recovery” using volume buttons, then press power to select.
The screen will change to display a phone on its back, with the update symbol above it. Momentarily it will change to an image of a phone with a red triangle and exclamation mark.
Press and hold volume up then press the power button for about 3seconds. You will see something very similar to the example shown below.
e:can’t open /cache/recovery/command
e:/ failed to mount /sdcard (no such file or directory exists)
e:/ failed to mount /sdcard (no such file or directory exists)
e:/ failed to mount /sdcard (no such file or directory exists)
A new screen will give you options like Reboot system now, Wipe Cache partition, and Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
Navigate to “Wipe Cache” the volume down button and select with Power.
Navigate to “Reboot Phone” with the volume buttons and select with power."
Hope it helps people that have the same problem.

Steps:-
1.Download and install Mi Flash Tool on your PC from HERE.
2.Download the full Fastboot Miui Rom for Mi 3 or Mi 4 From HERE and save the file on your desktop.
3. Extract the ROM File on your C:/ Drive (Don’t extract the folder on your desktop)
4.Run MI flash tool on your desktop, the same file that you downloaded in the above step.
5.From the tool click on the ‘Browse’ button and select the image folder of the ROM file that you extracted on the C:/ drive.
6.Click on ‘Browse’ option again and Advance and Choose the “Fastboot script” from the extracted ROM folder.
Choose the script carefully as per your need:-
1.flash_all.bat: clears all the data of the built-in storage, clear all user data, please be careful!
2.flash_all_except_storage.bat:
will erase all user data does not clear the built-in storage data.
3.flash_all_except_data_storage.bat:
does not clear the built-in storage data does not clear user data
(I would recommended using the flash_all_except_storage.bat since this will wipe and flash everything but the virtual sdcard.)
7. After this, Turn off the phone, press the Volume down key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode, then connect the phone to your pc.
8. Now click on the ‘Refresh’ button and you will see the device on the tool list.
9. Once the device is connected, Click on the ‘Flash’ button and now the flashing process will start on your phone. Wait until the progress bar on MiFlash is green, which means the ROM is successfully flashed, and the phone will automatically boot.

Pls help HELP HELP !! What should i do... i try fastboot flash fastboot rom failed too HELP HELP HELP !!!
Not going to send to phone center & currently my ROM can't not boot because of extend partition before & not stock partition... Help me PLEASE !!!
Hey guys, If your Realme C3 is in a bootloop. (Restarting again and again without going to the home screen) or if you want to rollback to your Stock ROM, This solution may help you.
Many of us tried to root our device, flash the new Realme UI 2.0 manually and make many other modifications to our device, So it may Softbrick or most usually go to a bootloop. And in this state the nearby Service Centers are also not open for the pandemic. But do not worry because, by following the steps in this post, you can fix your device bootloop at home. So without wasting anymore time, let's start.
So at first, you need to download 5 things. You need a PC or Laptop and a USB Cable.
So you need to download:
1. Realme C3 Flash File (Stock ROM)
(RMX2020) https://bit.ly/3xugV1g
(RMX2027) https://bit.ly/3AlfZ1j
2. SP Flash Tool
https://bit.ly/37kYzp7
3. MCT MTK Auth Bypass Rev4
11.98 MB file on MEGA
bit.ly
Password: www.anonyshu.com
4. MCT OFP Extractor
mct ofp extractor.rar | by TUSER HP for Generic Device/Other
Download GApps, Roms, Kernels, Themes, Firmware, and more. Free file hosting for all Android developers.
bit.ly
5. Mediatek Drivers Auto Installer
https://bit.ly/2VCa5tl
After You install all of these files, follow my steps.
1. Extract the Mediatek Drivers Auto Installer .zip file and open it after that double click on the "Install Drivers .bat" file after that it will open a window, then press any key in the keyboard to install the drivers, after the installation is complete, it will ask you to restart the computer then just click on restart and your PC or Laptop will restart. Voila the drivers are installed.
2. After the drivers are installed already Extract your Realme C3 Flash File. Now it's time to use the MCT OFP Extractor, Extract that file and then install the MCT OFP Extractor .exe
Then open it.
After opening it, In the Top Left You will see "Choose Oppo/Realme OFP File" text, just at it's right side you will see Three Dots Button (...) Click on it, then open the Extracted File
(The Flash File's Folder) and the you will see a file named OFP select it and click on ok/select.
Then right down the "Choose Oppo/Realme OFP File" you will see another text "Choose Output Directory to Extract" again at it's right side you will see a button with Three Dots (...) Click on it, then select the same folder again
(The Flash File's Folder) but don't open it this time just select it. And the click on Ok/Select. Then at the down side you will see a EXTRACT Button click on it, it will start extracting. After the extracting is completed, minimize the window.
3. Extract the MCT MTK Auth Bypass Rev4 .zip File and install the MCT MTK Auth Bypass Rev4 .exe and then Open it. Then click on Bypass button. Now you need your Device and USB Cable. If your phone is in a bootloop, Hold the Power button for 15-20 seconds until it powers off completely.
Warning (Don't let the battery drain)
Then connect the USB cable to your laptop and then Press And Hold you Volume+ and Volume- button and connect the usb cable to your phone immediately And then look at your laptop or PC and if a Successful message appears

you need full stock firmware
It's not worked in my case. But, (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/realme-3-recover-from-soft-brick-boot-loop-guide.3920401/) this method worked in my case so if you face the same problem or the method not working try this. Hopefully it can help you to fix the problem.
The device that I used: realme C3 (Bangladeshi version or global version or narzo 10a in India).
Good day!
The number 3. tool seems not to work on my end,
I did have the DLL error so I downloaded it,
but after downloading it I got this error.
The 0x992566 error is because when using "SP flash tool" and using the "Format all" option it causes us to erase all partitions on the device and if you thought that you bricked the phone and it won't react anymore, relax, because

it's an easy fix for that you have to install the "Oppo_Custom" partition but keep in mind something:
If you got to have the "NvRAM" and "NVdata" partition you can recover the IMEI but if not then this tutorial will only fix the system but will not recover the IMEI (it is better that after restoring the device you go to a support center to have them Installed).
STEP 1: download the file ZIP
Download Not Complete Solution.zip
drive.google.com
You must download the ZIP file, it contains all the files to be able to restore the phone (WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DOWNLOAD FILES FROM OTHER SITES, YOU MAY END UP DAMAGING THE DEVICE)
Step 2: you must unzip the file
Step 3: open the "ByPASS" folder and open the "Lib USB" installer and install it.
Step 4: open the executable "mtk_bypass_rev4" and when it is open press the "BYPASS" button.
Step 5: now turn off the device (wait for the countdown to end) and hold down the volume + and volume - buttons while the bypass waits for it to recognize the device i.e. by holding them down you connect it to the pc, otherwise it will not go into "BROM" mode (but if it fails to connect you should open the "Lib_USB" application and when you apply these steps you should hit the "Mediatek USB Port" option and hit "install device").
Step 6: after bypassing the device you should open the "SP Flash Tool" folder.
Step 7: now in the "Download Agent" box select the "Choose" option and select the file "DA_6765_6785_6768_6873_6885_6853.bin".
Step 8: now in the "Scatter -Loading File" box select "Format all + Download scatter".
PLEASE NOTE: the phone must be in BROM mode and connected to the PC and make sure that the "Oppo custom" partition is selected and you have not moved it to another place.
Final step: you must change the "Download only" option to "Format all downloads" and press the download button.
If everything went well in the loading bar will start to load the system to the phone and you should wait 10 minutes or more (depends on the speed of the pc) after the process is finished a window with an arrow will appear.
Disconnect the device and turn it on with volume + and the power button.
NVRAM AND NVDATA
EYE IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COPY OF YOUR NVDATA AND NVRAM OF YOUR DEVICE SKIP THIS PART AND GO TO A SERVICE CENTER TO RESTORE YOUR IMEI.
If you have a backup of these files, you must open in the unzipped file the folder "NVRAM Scatter" and open SP Flash Tool.
Step 1: in the "Scatter loading file" part select the "Nvdata Nvram Scatter" file (it is located in the "nvram scatter" folder).
Step 2: after selecting it, you should scroll down and select the Nvram and Nvdata partition and then select its partition file.
Step 3: select the "preloader" partition and this will open a window and in it you should go to the "RMX2020 Stock ROM" folder and select the "preloader_oppo6769" file.
Step 4: now open the "MTK bypass" and you should put the phone in "BROM" mode (remember to turn off the phone and hold volume+ and volume- and connect the phone to the pc without releasing the buttons i.e. holding down you connect it to the pc, otherwise it will not go into "BROM" mode).
will oppo_custom.img file work in my rmx 2117 device ?
It depends, since each model has different writings, and that could terribly affect your device, you should search for your model on the web or look for a dump file of your model, oppo will appear there Oppo custom and you will have to copy and paste it, and don't even think about taking an external NVRAM OR NVDATA file because that will damage your WiFi connectivity, but it is fixed by formatting
