Roocase Exec Tough Case for the Note 5 - Galaxy Note5 Accessories

Just received the roocase exec tough case. Its actually a very well built case. The feel is similar to the UAG. It doesn't have the drop certification but overall construction feels very similar to it..

[Q] Anyone tried this case? (Boxwave)

I have been waiting forever for seidio to release their streak case but apparently "coming soon" means keep dreaming to them.. I have the impact now but don't like it much.
I just noticed this slip on from boxwave
w ww.boxwave.com/products/purecrystalslip/dell-streak-pure-crystal-slip-case_4005.htm
couldn't find any reviews..
That looks similar to the lower priced TPU cases that have been reviewed in various threads. Here are some pics comparing a TPU case with the Impact case.
The TPU case will give you a slimmer phone.
I ended up using an Otterbox Defender. I like the slimmer case better for looks, but the Defender better for protection.

Seidio Active or Otterbox Defender or other?

I'm looking for a fairly durable case (just for me clumsily dropping it... I work a computer job so it doesn't need to be bulletproof) with some sort of kickstand and a belt clip. The only 2 I've seen by reputable brands I've seen for this has been the OtterBox Defender (with the holster being the kickstand) and the Seidio Active (with the case having it's own kickstand).
The Otterbox Defender seems overkill for my needs, but my wife has an Otterbox Commuter for her iPhone 5 and I'm super impressed with the build quality. But the Commuter has no kickstand or belt clip. I was curious if anyone has experience with the Seidio Active and how it compares to the OB Commuter and if the kickstand being way off center is an issue in day to day use? Or if there are any other suggestions?
The Active for the Note 2 is getting somewhat dubious reviews based on the inner layer being very loose around the edges. I personally won't use an Otter Box Defender because the interior plastic case, in a perfect display of why hard plastic should never be in direct contact with your phone, scratches up the phone case itself, the built-in screen protector actually traps dust and sand under it (leading to scratches), and the whole thing caused overheating problems with my Skyrocket.
I'm awaiting a Seidio Surface case, but if you look on eBay or Amazon, you'll find cases that are essentially identical to the Seidio active, but $10-12 instead of $40+. On eBay, they're called Rugged cases. On Amazon, they're called Rhino cases.
I looked at the Surface as it also has a kickstand but I'm a little hesitant as it just doesn't seem to provide enough protection. Maybe I'm a little "gun shy" because I dropped my last phone and cracked the screen. That's also the reason I'm hesitant about any of the $10 cases on Amazon or Ebay. Does their protection really compare with something like an Otterbox or Seidio?
i actually ordered an Active that just arrived, but im going to send it back without even trying it. too many reviews about the rubber bring loose has turned me off from it. i have an Ionic case on it now and it seems that it might due until the Trident Aegis comes out. I'm wondering if the Aegis can fit in the Seidio holster? Otherwise I'll continue to pocket it and wait for something else.
I'm not going with the Defender because of the rubber inner peace loosing it's form over time with previous purchases. Ottorbox has had excellent customer service with replacements, but I don't want to go through the hassle.
I have the rugged/rhino case for my note 2.
It's ok, I personally don't like the feel of the rubber, especially compared to otterbox or casemate.
Also the bottom part of it is pretty loose.
It's ok for $8 but I'll be replacing it soon when something else shows I like.

I too have the Rugged (from eBay) while I wait for Seidio to process my refund of the Active. The holster for the Rugged is mega cheap, and the clip popped off on the first day that I had it last week. I contacted the seller, who actually sent me a whole new case and holster, which is nice, but it is the same POS holster that will break soon. It will do while I wait it out.
Just and FYI, I received and email from Ballistic that their case is now out for order.

Cruzerlite Spi-Force Rugged Case & TPU Case Review

Here are a few cases that Cruzerlite sent me to review. I hope it will be useful for you all.
The Spi-Force rugged case is definitely a 10/10 for me. Not only do you have a nice fitting case that isn't bulky,
but theres a kickstand on the back! For $20, you just can't beat that.
Cruzerlite Spi-Force Case
The TPU case I would give a 3.5/4 out of 5. Only because I don't so much care for TPU cases anymore
but it is a nice and firm TPU. Again, not bad for $13

I would like to thank Kristian B once again for sending me the cases to review for you all.
Make sure you check out Cruzerlite.com.
I'd also like to thank those of you who have been giving me good feedback,

Low profile case with grip?

Just wondering about cases for my OP3. Not really fussed about protection, mainly want something that doesn't really add anything size or weight wise to the phone but stops it being so slippy.
I was initially looking at the official protective case in Karbon - does that add grip? Also was thinking about the sandstone one which I know will add grip but have read that it's quite a polarising texture and actually feels a bit too rough (like sandpaper).
Are there any thinner, grippier/better cases than the official ones?
Thanks in advance
I have a bulky tudia merge and this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Oneplus-Si...id=1470131177&sr=1-25&keywords=oneplus+3+case
Not really great protection (so it seems but never tried a real drop test lol), but it's very thin and feels grippy (rubberized) than op3 aluminium. Sort of ringke slim, if you know this case. Hope it helps
Oh, and it's perfectly compatible with orzly tgsp.
I have recently bought Carbon case. It definitely adds grip. It is covered with some kind of rubbery thing, so it feels nice in hand and is not slippery. It fits the phone very well and is thin. I can definitely recommend carbon case to you.
Diztronic should have A case out soon
I got carbon and sandstone, carbon feels better

This video of mine shows the fusion to be quite grippy!
I think i have paid under 20 dollars for 7 cases and 5 TGSPs. I have both found a sandstone and a clear Case and a full TGSP that are as Good/slim/protective as the 10dollar a piece some guys in here hav paid. I dont understand, Why pay so much Money?

I got the Carbon with my Soft Gold. It feels awesome in the hand. I'm not so sure about full protection, though.

Frankenstein's monster of cases

I've found 1 case with a folio cover with all 4 sides covered and it was the Targus Click-In and I never really liked it. After some trial and error I found the Spigen Rugged case to be thinnest with the most protection and best stylus holder but I needed a cover. The Infiland had the biggest stylus/camera opening so I gave it a try and the Spigen case fits like a glove. Removing the built in case was easy enough, and I superglued the Spigen into it's place. It's still day 1 but so far so good.
